Lily grasped her wand and knelt beside Kirra. She pointed her want at the locket on Kirra's through and cried "Diffindo." The locket split in half and fell from Kirra's neck. "Repairo!" She murmed and the locket repaired itself however now detached from Kirra's neck.

Kirra took a deep breathe. "Th-thank you." She picked up the heavy golden locket. "In all the years I've had it it's never done that."

Lily stared down at the locket. "Thats odd." She murmed. "You don't think its a...a horocrux?" The young headmistress asked looking up at Kirra. "Have you ever been able to open it before?"

Kirra's eye snapped to her boss then back to her locket. "No-of course not-it's was my fathers." She rose and told the snake to leave her. "Come, headmisstress the students will be missing us."

Lily put a hand out to stop her. "I'm aware your father was Voldemort, Kirra. I know its hard but we must try to open the locket and be sure." Lily spoke softly and reassuring. "If it is in fact a horocrux we don't want it to harm you like it just did."

Kirra's jaw tightened. She looked at her. "No, I won't destroy it I just won't." She turned her head. "If I can find them all..I could...could."

"It doesn't open does it?" Lily said softly. "Kirra this is important, I know Tom was your father, and this is special to you, but if it is a horocrux it could put you in danger."

"Kirra please listen." Lily said kindly but sternly. "I didn't know your Voldemort as a father, but he was the most dangerous wizard that ever lived. If he returns to power it would be bad, hes killed people Kirra." She said softly not wanting to offened her but wanting her to see the importance of the situation. "And all the other horocruxs are destroyed, if you try to piece back his soul he will be weak, unable to do anything for himself. That's no way to live." She said apologetically. "Accio sword!" She shouted and the sword of Gryffindor flew into Lily's outstreched hand. "Kirra I'm going to ask you to destroy it with this, I know its difficult, I can only imagine how much so but its the right thing to do."

Kirra took a shaky breathe and opened the locket slowly. Two beautiful eyes stared back at her. Her father's eyes. Kirra's jaw tightened as her fingers shook. Her father was starring back at her fo rthe first time in five years form that glimpse of him the year he came back.

"You can do it Kirra." Lily edged her on, not wanting the locket to possess her and make it harder for her to destroy it.

"Oh sweet heart."
Kirra blinked. Then the locket started to burn. She dropped it. Her mother, thin, kinded faced and transparent, smiled at her, her father, his arms around her waist.
"Kirra...come, wouldn't you want us back?"
Kirra grabbed the sword-but then they spoke louder. "Poor little orphan! Poor Little Lonely girl."
"No...no...stop..."
"We're here, right here...come find us."
"Stop..."
"Come on sweet heart!"
"Shut up!" Kirra with out even thinkingbrough down the silver and with a sickening scream and crack-her beloved parents, the only peopel she had ever loved-dissapered.

Lily put a comforting arm around Kirra. "I'm proud of you. That took a lot of courage." She soothed handing her the damaged locket and with a swiff of her wand, sending the sword back to her office. Lily slowly led Kirra out of the chamber.
