I was at Girls Camp. Its something that my church put together every year and I had such a wonderful experience. heart
I would love to tell you guys all about it. But it'll be too weird because its all religious and everything.
I don't know if you want to hear all this LDS (aka mormon) stuff. sweatdrop But, that's okay!

... whee I'm just kidding, I love to hear about other religions, and since Mormonism is one of those wear you only hear weird stuff about them, it'd be great to hear about it from an actual Mormon. 3nodding

Well, we're called Latter Day Saints or LDS for short. Mormon is just a nickname. But yea, I'm one of them. whee
When you said "Burn her at the stake!" that's pretty much my life right there sometimes. xd When people find out I'm a LDS, they freak out. Later they find we're actually pretty nice people, but some hold a grudge against us for some strange or stupid reason.
It's true that Mormonism is one of those religions where you only hear weird stuff about them unless you learn about it from an actual member or members. You wouldn't believe all the constant misconceptions people make with Mormonism. It reminds me how pro-choicers stereotype pro-lifers. I am dead serious. gonk

lol, well, I'm Catholic, and we have to deal with all sorts of misconceptions too. sweatdrop Right now, I'm trying to prove to someone that the Catholic Church does not in any way condone gay bashing. stressed Then there's the whole "praying to saints vs. worshipping saints" thing...
Anyways, I've got to admit everything I've heard about LDS is really strange, but I know that people have misconceptions about a lot of things, and one of my favorite authors, Orson Scott Card, is an LDS, so ya'll can't be too bad. xd

Its nice to talk to people about my religion. But if someone keeps insisting that LDS believes only in this and that I just tell them if they truly want to know about us, invite the Missionaries. xp Seriously, that's what the Missionaries are for.
Well, I'm glad to know you're not an ani-mormon in any way. 3nodding At least not the protesting anti-mormon kind.
I don't know why I'm telling you this, but this one anti even came up to us dressed in a devil suit. xd I don't know how that's going to open any minds. I mean, I mind as well curse at the Catholic members while wearing a chicken suit.
