islanders_CO39 She sighed softly sounding exasperated and rubbed her temples closing her golden eyes. How could things go so wrong? She heard everyone go back to their business, but she could feel her grandfather-in-law's eyes on them the whole time.
Rin looked at her the ground and opened her mouth to speak. "Kyo...its a celebration...not a war party..." She looked up at him with tears lining her eyes. "Kyo even if they were going to hurt me...I wouldnt know how they would hurt me..." Before she continued on she only lowered her head to brush away her tears on the backs of her hands.
"Kyo I didnt want this to go wrong...this wasnt supposed to happen..." She could feel Kyo's grandfather approach, but she didnt do anything. "I'm not upset with you..." Kyo fellt the same burning. He pulled Rin into a hug,"Rin it isnt your fault at all. It theires. They had a little too muhc to drink, and did some foolish things...nothings wrong..." he let his sentence fade as his grand father approached, he was smiling, but Kyo could tell it was simply a false face as he saw the anger burning in his eyes. He walked and smiled at Rin with genuine affection, and said,"Excuse me Rin i need to borrow Kyo for a moment." and he pulled Kyo along with him, attracting little attention. When the dor closed behind him, Kyos grandfathers threw him into the sont wal powerfully. He was old but he was still musculer. He picked up Kyo by the collar and slapped in across the face, and said calmly but anger ringing in his voice,"What do you tihnk youa re doing boy...they are that was the party of the bishop of Elsinore...we ar eon rocky terms with them, i dont think killing his son and friend would go over very well...so not only did you challenege them you make us look weak by declining the combat...like a coward."he tore the corwn off of Kyos head,"You ar eno longer Regent for the throne. I remove any formal tirle from you save for General of the Northern Legions, but your command is reduced to only the 10th or the Burning LEgion as you call it, only because it is funded by yourself. i reduce your capacity for recruiting legions to 1 new legion every decade..."Kyo opene dhis mouth to protest, but his grandfather seemd in a rage,"If you open your mouth again I will banish you from th enetherworld..."kyos face was pure white, and a trickle of blood flowed down his lip. Before he left Kyos grandfather said," You are banned form leaving this castle, and I am placing you under house arrest, you cannot leave your room, and I will take care of your chidren. They wil have the throne next." he took the ceremonial swords from Kyo. And walked back into the Hall, smiling as if nothing had gone wrong. Kyo remained sitting in the hallway, bleeding froma cut on his lip, his mind fuzzy. He put his face in his hands and did slid onto his side on the floor.

Banji listened intently, so now Kyo no longer had any power... interesting. He relied this to Zersilo who seemed to take this as not much of a surprise. Banji himself wasn't surprised either, starting a combat, and then declining was extremely rude. However... Kyo still had a purpose to play and in order for them to have power he would have to be in power. So quietly the two vampires went out and grabbed Kyo, bringing them to the balcony. They stared at them a moment before Banji began. They had already plotted what they planned to say.
"I see we have a problem on our hands... we shall remove it with or without you." Banji said bluntly.
"Of course the problem is the other family, they are an obstacle that shall be... removed" Zersilo said stressing the word.

He changed quickly there, and said," i am ready whenever you both are."he seemd cool and collective, ready for anything.

Zersilo said "Excellent, we shall leave your children and wife behind, they are safe enough here---"
Banji interrupted Zersilos probable long-winded speech. "We're going to the new castle, bring the Burning Legion, from there we shall plot our advance on the enemy."
Zersilo looked a little annoyed he had been interrupted but accepted that.
"Gather them quickly, and we shall depart for the castle as soon as we are able to. I'm afraid we'll have to march there, but I've created a magical path, it will only take a few hours to march through, but you must stay on the magical path, it fits only about 10 people at once... so that's how your legion will have to march." Zersilo said glad to able to explain his plan.
"Go, and meet us at the imperial sables." Banji said shortly.
The two vampires quickly descended down to the stables, and awaited Kyo.

She had heard most of what Kyo's grandfather had said to him and when Kyo had been stripped of his titles, and when his grandfather struck him, she flinched. How could he do that? He had always seemed so nice and pleasant, but now...he was different.
Her golden eyes flashed and she turned from the spot once she saw Zersilo and Banji drag Kyo away. Walking through the crowd of people who were mostly conversing and dancing, she stormed through and up the steps of the throne to stand before her grandfather-in-law.
"You....you cant just do that!! He was defending me...me...and I called him off...he is anything, but a coward...it was me who called him off because I am too weak to do anything for myself, considering how I cant hold them off. You have no right to just...just hit him around and do something like that!!!!"

They rushed off to obey him and very shortly the legion was formed int he courtyard wearing black camo and black covers on thier weapons. Kyo sent his trop marching quietly off along the magical path, ten mena line and than ran off and met Banji and Zersilos." it is done." he said to them.

I wish i couyld do it any other way but Kyo...is too strogn and wont respond to anything other than that." he looks into Rins eyes,"IN demonic custom you must fight every battle you begin, and if it is called off for whatever reason, other than death, the challenger is considered a weak,a nd a coward. It is strang eot anyone but a demon I know but Kyo knew what he was doing...he is a fearless warriour I know, but he is not meant to rule, for he is no diplomat." he looked sorrowful for a moment,"nothing changes on paper, he still remains the prince, just not the heir from the throne." he looked up at Rin,"Kyo...Kyo is a warriour to the done. More brilliant than anyone i have ever seen and i am millenia old, and know what i am tlaking about. BUt Kyo is arrogant too. And he has one weakness...you."

"Everyone always thinks that...and now its seemingly true...this is my fault...." She had never felt so empty in her life...had it really been her fault for all that had happened to her husband? She looked back in her mind at all the times trouble had gone and Kyo's reaction and such...it was true...she made him weak.
Her golden eyes soon filled with tears and she removed the tiara and dropped it on the ground. Unraveling her hair from its braids, she let her hair cascade to her waist. Looking up at her grandfather-in-law, her eyes seemed pained as the tears built even more.
"I'm leaving....let Kyo have all his titles back...give him the title as heir to the throne...if I only make him weak....weakness shouldnt be allowed....needs to be eliminated..."
Turning her back on her grandfather-in-law, she ran from the great hall and tore off up to her bedroom she shared with Kyo. She loved him terribly, but when her grandfather-in-law told her she made his grandson who was all great and mighty...weak...she couldnt believe that she had brought someone down to make them weak.
Snatching up her cloak, she fastened it on and grabbed one of her katanas and left the room quickly. She started running once again and headed out to where she had kept her horse when Kyo and herself had returned. Reaching the location outside, she mounted her horse, but couldnt make herself go on and only cried as she sat there.
Rin dismounted her horse and stabbed her katana angrily into the ground and turned around slamming her fist into the stone wall. As she continuously slammed her fists against the wall, she cried and cried for causing what had happened to Kyo. She had been his weakness all along and now look what happened. When she got to the point where she could no long hit the wall, she was sitting on her knees crying, her hands swollen, bloody, and bruised.

However guards ran out after rin and a dozen gently took the reigns of the horse,a dn helped Rin off the horse, and brought her back inside. The party was breaking up and people were starting to leave, but many stayed on. Kyos grandfather was waiting for Rin and he pulled her intoa tight hug,"Oh weaknes sis a hgorrible thing, but to be weka to you...whta a wonderful punishment." he smiled at her softly,"Come come now my child dry your tears, and sit with the children will you?"

"We move to Van Hagen Castle now" Zersilo said quietly. Banji had the horses all tied together in a convoy. These would prove useful. As they began moving Zersilo stopped as they came to a different area. After cutting himself and dripping blood on a spot, an entire array of drawings appeared.
"I found this in a book, it takes a great deal of concentration to maintain, but allows for two trips, here and back" Zersilo said grinning, Banji got the horses ready, and then chanting a few arcane words, Zersilo, Banji, and Kyo were transported a few kilometerse away from the castle.
The castle was seen and the Burning Legion would arrive shortly, in the same area. "Welcome to castle Van Hagen" Zersilo said calmly.

Rin couldnt speak to her grandfather-in-law and she pulled away leaving a smear of blood on his robes from her hands. Walking to where her children were, she sat down tiredly and looked up at the ceiling briefly. When servants came and set the twins on her lap, she held her children close to her and rested her head lightly upon her son's head.
Rin was very careful about her has...they oozed blood and the open wounds and bruises were highly visible. She was sure not to get her bloody hands on her children or herself, so she just kept them on her lap. Her tears fell silently on her face and she seemed to be falling asleep. Though her hands were a bloody mess, she was too worried about Kyo and what she had done. Closing her eyes, she sighed softly as a few more tears slipped out and more blood surged from her hands.

The shockwave traveled through space. It spread in a radius, reaching the castle. The waves passed through the ground and into the base: Central Control. The ceiling shook and the technicians and physicists ducked for shelter. A loud voice boomed from the crystal. "Salvatio has launched a flying bomb. It attached itself to a nearby tree." Everyone sighed heavily. One of the scientists cried out, "See? We can’t trust a demon! Look! It almost destroyed us!" The Architect held up a hand to silence him. "Relax. This base is strong and it will stand. It is designed to resist earthquakes." The scientist mumbled to himself before he retired to his position under a table.
The scientists grumbled. They whispered to one another about the fatal error the Architect made when he decided that a demon would pilot the most sophisticated machine in the world. The crystal amplified the next message. "Sir, I believe you have blundered." Loud cheers split the stagnant air. "There's no way--"
"--There is a way and I will go by any means to accomplish it. No one seemed brave enough to be what they call a guinea pig for my project. Akuma was the only one who could possibly fit the job." The Architect, predicting a reply, quickly interrupted it. "I would like to see you find a person that loves to fight and is not afraid of death. I don't want anyone to have morals stand as an obstacle to defeat a machine of evil. I want someone who can do the job." The Architect's left hand rose from his side to push his glasses back into place. "You're going to owe your lives to him, don't forget that."

Rin had nearly fallen asleep in her chair holding the twins close to her body as they fell asleep against their mother's chest. Many guests were still attending the celebration, many were still dancing and the others were conversing like before.
She had awaken when she felt someone touching her bloody and swollen hands. Her golden eyes fluttered open and she looked at who was in front of her. She recognized the man, but she wasnt sure who he was...maybe a servant in the castle...or a relative to her husband...there were so many demons in the Netherworld that it was difficult for her to keep track of who was who.
When she finally was fully awake, her blood had been cleaned from her hands and a disinfectant and healing ointment rubbed on them. Her hands were wrapped tightly in bandages and she could just imagine Kyo's reaction to it once he came back...if she ever saw him when he came back.
Due to the fact that she was his "weakness" it bothered her considerably because she feared that threats of murder would be made to herself as well as their children who werent even a year old yet. Yawning softly, she rested her head back on the chair once again and her golden eyes observed the great hall and its guests.
