Banji eagerly took the chair, and began to eat, but Zersilo simply smiled and inclined his head to Kyo. Instead of sitting down Zersilo began working the room, making conversation with everyone, he made sure to not annoy the important delegates, and of course the key to any politician was the spouse of the politician. It was a tactic in politics, if you convinced the woman of something, she would convince her husband of it. This was how to win in a political situation, worked well when negotiating a deal over land.
So while Banji ate and drank much like a warrior, Zersilo calmly sipped on his wine while making conversation with people in the room.

He surprised her completely when he started dancing with her, wisking her away across the dance floor and many stopped to watch them, smiling and whispering in admiration. Looking up into his eyes she smiled softly and sweetly at him as she felt him draw her close.
"I thought you said you couldnt dance....you're doing a wonderful job..." Being a great dancer herself, she knew that he was doing well and their dancing would seem flawless. She saw the other man who had been touching her coming out towards them a look of what seemed like malice on his face, but she wouldnt make any acknowledgement to it and held onto Kyo a bit tighter...the tension noticable.

Although Banji appeared to be enjoying himself, he always kept an eye on the boys, it wouldn't be very tactful to kill them here and now. Especially if all they did was make Rin dance, technically. He pondered this while he boasted to a fellow general. It seemed to be the thing that all the generals had in common, the boasting priveledges, and the boasting contests, but like his brother, Banji watched the boys.
They were hunters by nature so they enjoyed the cat-mouse games. Banji especially enjoyed being the cat.

She could feel his tactics as she manuvered her away from the boys. Swallowing hard, she laced her fingers with his, but she seemed nervous and her eyes were panicky. The boys seemed to be closing in on them and she stepped closely to him so their bodies were right together.
The group of them closed in around Rin and Kyo and Rin held onto Kyo tightly and she buried her face into his shoulder as the leader of the group came in towards them. She felt someone's hands wrap around her waist tightly and pulled her back away from Kyo.
From there she was squirming in the leader's arms as he smirked at Kyo. There had always been tension between Kyo and the man since they were younger. However, despite Rin's struggles, he only held her tighter to him and slowly backed up from Kyo in a taunting manner.

He spun around and rew his Katanan in one swift motion,"You have 3 seconds ot call off your goos before i have you all killed here..."the man seemd surprised,a nd all of them backed offf, but kyo remained with his sword at the mans throat. Dozens of guards marched in and escorted the gang of boys out of the hall. Kyo nodded to Zersilos and Banji to follow them, and gave thema pleading look, so as not to make it seem like he was ordering them around.

When Kyo came on with his katana drawn, Rin tried desperately to pull away. She latched onto Kyo as she finally managed to get the other man's arms off of her waist. This celebration happened not how she wanted it to, but she was glad to be by Kyo's side and not have some other man touching her in ways she disliked.

Zersilo and Banji simply grinned. They seemed to be saying "the pleasure is all ours" but they didn't actually say that. Banji of course was wearing a sword, it wasn't his usual blade, but it would do. It was a rapier, used for fencing, that relied on foot work. When Banji stepped up, some of the boys looked a little too confident, so in proper vampire fashion laughed at them.
" I challenge all of you to combat." Banji said with a grin on his face.
Zersilo walked besides Banji, together they looked exactly the same. "Fencing, brother? Oh very well, it's been a few years, but I still haven't forgotten." It was something they learned together, fencing... and although Banji was the better combatant, they would often end in a draw.
Smiling at all the men there Zersilo asked them in a taunting voice.
"What happens to be the matter gentlemen? Afraid of losing against two of us... hmmm well, I'll tell you what... I'll give you the option of giving up now, or dying and becomming my servant." Zersilo said calmly.
"Hmmph... I was going to give them the option of dying sooner or later, but yours works too..." Banji muttered clearly amused.

Rin made sure she was well enough away from the dual in the back and she sighed softly resting her back against the wall and looking up at the ceiling. The celebration didnt go how she thought it would...let alone having some other man touching her and making moves on her. If anyone touched her she'd much rather have it be Kyo of course.
Many of the guests had concern for her and her worried expression. She reassured them that she was alright and many of them gave her smiles and nods, as well as congratulations on the wedding and twins.
Finally regathering herself, she swallowed hard and walked to where Kyo, Banji, and Zersilo were preparing for their dual. She really didnt want Kyo to fight as she saw him draw his weapons. This was supposed to be a celebration for them...not a battle field.
Walking quietly behind Kyo, she softly place one of her delicate hands upon his arm to get his attention.

He felt an hand on his arm, and he turned and saw Rin, here eyes pleadin him not to fight. He seemed to return to reality, as everyon was straring at them, iundluding the children. He lowered his sword, and sheathed it. The other gang looked surpried by this action, and lowered their weapons,"There will be no fighting...this time." he looked at the other gang, and they glared contemptuosly at Kyo, but filed out and lexited. Kyo turned to Zersilos and Banji and whispered to them,'Im sorry...no blood tonight. Not infront of my children I implore you. Well have our revenge soon enough...i am in depted to you for coming to my aid however. my thanks." he than in a louder voice proclaimed,'Come this is a party let us enjoy it!" he smiled and the musicians began to play and the corwd buzzed and came alive again, but kyo saw the look on his grandfathers face, and knew what it meant. He turned quickly to Rin and said,"IM sorry for that Rin...i...its just...they were going to hurt you..."

She sighed softly sounding exasperated and rubbed her temples closing her golden eyes. How could things go so wrong? She heard everyone go back to their business, but she could feel her grandfather-in-law's eyes on them the whole time.
Rin looked at her the ground and opened her mouth to speak. "Kyo...its a celebration...not a war party..." She looked up at him with tears lining her eyes. "Kyo even if they were going to hurt me...I wouldnt know how they would hurt me..." Before she continued on she only lowered her head to brush away her tears on the backs of her hands.
"Kyo I didnt want this to go wrong...this wasnt supposed to happen..." She could feel Kyo's grandfather approach, but she didnt do anything. "I'm not upset with you..."

Zersilo and Banji sighed. Both of them had been looking forward to this fight. It was in their blood, what did it matter if they were children present? None at all, children needed to learn that the world they lived in wasn't a happy one, and you had to do things you didn't want to do in order to survive. Instead of moving away from the fight however, Zersilo and Banji simply pushed the demons aside and made a path for themselves and exited out into the balcony.
"I was getting into that..." Banji said angirily.
" Yes... as was I, brother." Zersilo said in agreement, tapping his sword while he paced.
"Rin is his weakness... she already has ruined one night's fun, I say she isn't needed." Banji said in a cold tone.
"Agreed, brother... however... we shall do as Kyo pleases for a short time, contiually disruption won't be tolerated, and the next time he wishs us to do a favour, it might take a little while longer to oblidge by it." Zersilo said smoothly.
"Sounds fair to me... if you can't go through with it, you shouldn't say it." Banji said taking out his sword and making several jabs to the air.
