Azaireal smiled, and took the weapons from Aurahkah. Azaireal held them, one in each hand, and twirled them. What ever blood that remained on the blades flew off. Azaireal then wraped the blades with some of his feathers, and reproduced them. They shined with the same briliace as when they were foraged. Azaireal then kissed each blade, and handed them back to Aurahkah.
"Now, blood can not cling to these blades." Azaireal frowned for a moment, and then smiled agian.
"Are you going to tell me who's blood this is, and why you are so eager to get it off?"
"Or would you rather keep your secret, and hope that I never find out?"
Azaireal's eyes light up, and he tries to speak, but words fail him...

She retook her sais and stared at them. How long had it been since they looked like this? A good four thousand years? Milena of use, wear and tear had been seemingly just removed with so much ease. They even out shined the bracelet encircling her wrist and she actually made an effort to take care of that. "Thank you Azaireal..." She stood next to him in silence for a few moments before bringing her gaze up to meet his. "You're an angel, they always know whether or not you tell them things." Aura sighed. "The blood is from a man named Khai. His blood is just as vile as he is...that's all there is to it." She frowned slightly, averting her gaze some.

Azaireal puts a hand on her shoulder, "Do you feel happy with what you have done to the wretched man?" Azarieal shoulders sighed, his other hand touche Aurahkah's chin and moved her head so her eyes looked directly into his. In the middle of the blue orbs, tiny flames danced in the middle...
"I regret going to hell, I regret fighting demons... Some were once angels... They are my cousins..." Azaireal let go of Aurahkah's gaze, as he blinked the dancing flames away. "Some things are hard to forget, some things need not happen... Some things are provoked, others instigated..."

"He deserves his punishment. I regret none of it." Aura said it with a fierce edge to her voice. "Happy? No. Only satisfied. I made a promise to myself so long ago, after my parents turned their backs on me...never to let myself be fooled by quickly forged trust. Five years ago, I made that mistake again. And again I did not learn from it seeing as a few days ago, I let myself be betrayed a third time." One hand again clenched into a fist. "I will not be betrayed again by the same man...I will not let him betray the others here either...if it means his death..." She trailed off, dropping her gaze once more.

"Your love is creating your resolve." Azaireal moves to embrass(hug) Aurahkah, but quickly remebers humans are not so open to affections as the other races, "You bare a gentle soul." Azaireal's face errupts into a glorious smile.
"I do so enjoy humans who act out of love..."

From Aura's frown a gently smile took it's place. She remembered hearing those words before from another being. And she was worse off then. "Eclipse...once told me the same thing. That the things I did...I didn't do because I was evil...but because my heart was hurt and I was lonely, that my soul wasn't dark, merely shadowed, needing to be brough back into the light . Those were the first words he spoke to me when we he was created..." After a brief moment of nostalgia she turned her eyes back to Azaireal and laughed short and soft. "Took me almost five hundred years to learn to love. I like to use the trait as often as I can now. Even if it does seem to justify a horrible deed."

"Little angel is a wise fellow," Azaireal grazed some of his feathers over the sacred band, restoring its shine as his feathers had done moments earlier. "You are inheriently good. If you were not, why are you still not torturing your prisoner." Azaireal maintains his smile, "You remind me of some rebels I once knew... They regreted the violence they had to endure to win their freedom..."
Azarieal looks deep into Aurahkah's eyes, "The eye is the gateway into the soul..." Azaireal smiled bigger, "But who ever said angels could read souls was sorely mistaken... Souls talk to us... Much like how Eclipse talks to you..."

Aura touched her fingers to the now seemingly restored band. Now it looked just like the day she had found it and was foolish enough to put it on. "I never thought of it that way. So my soul says to you, that I'm really not as evil as I've always thought myself to be?" She shrugged slightly. "I can't be blamed for thinking that way about myself. Shunned and mistreated by my parents, forced to live as a thief and an outcast, tortured for my own crimes, then seeking revenge for nothing better than to do so. And that was just the first fifteen hundred years..." She laughed softly again.

This time, Azaireal could not resist his angelic heritage and embraced Aurahkah. He whispered into Aurahkah's ear, "An angel can cleanse your soul of your 'sins', would you like to be forgiven?" Azaireal released Aurahkah from his arms.
Angels must serve the Creator's will, and He willed the love of mortals...

Azaireal always seemed so comforting, even on such seemingly dark subjects. She smiled warmly at him, raising a hand to rest on his shoulder. "It's a wonderful offer Azaireal...but I can't let anyone or anything, no human, no divine being, forgive me...until I have first forgiven myself. I'm sure you understand what I mean." Aura gave a slight nod. She never imagined she would be having such a conversation, let alone with an angel.

Azaireal placed a hand on top of hers, "The offer will stand, and when you would like the reassurence of divine forgiveness, just let me know..." Azaireal smiled, which he does often when speaking to Aurahkah, "To love another, you must first love yourself... The same could be said of forgiveness..."
"I do not hold your past against you, Aurahkah, but the future... It is what you will do that determines..." Azaireal finds himself at a loss of words again... "Divine interference... Some things I am just not allowed to tell you..."

Aura laughed, smiling brightly at the remark. "Well you know what they say, some things are best found out for one's self. Besides," She held up her arm, flashing the bracelet around her wrist, "I have all the time I want to find out. Now don't I?" She brushed a piece of hair from her eyes as was habitual when she held conversation, even if the action wasn't needed. "You know Azaireal, I do believe that you are changing my outlook on angels."

Azaireal laughed, "Such a thing is posible here then... To tell you the truth, I was quite despaired over the hatred of angels... Though about leaving... But alas, I am here, a gate might open, and you did have your reasons..." Azaireal customarily tilted his head, "Did you wash the blood of yourself in the lake, where not to long ago I cleased my skin as well?"
Azaireal secretly thought, and my soul.

"Yes actually I did. Didn't know that lake was so popular. Usually it's just used when Eclipse goes fishing. I have no idea why it's even there, I think Coban and Kali just wanted one. Why do you ask?" She turned from him for a moment, dumping out the bucket of red colored liquid into the sink, returning the bucket to the floor. It had been starting to distract her.

"Both the angel and the human bathing in the same water... Poetic in a way, showing that we have ... common ground..."
"And we both had really dirty days..."
"Cleanlyness is next to godlyness..." Azaireal shrugged.
"Some things don't wash away that easily," Azaireal smiled, "Do they?"
