The razor digits lanced into Biohazard's head inches before he could bring the pipe down on Felicia. He screamed as glowing green blood oozed from the wounds. Small bursts of atomic energy closed the wounds, though they left visible trenches.

He reached back and grabbed for Raleigh, attempting to throw him into next week. "INSECT!"

The pair staggered around the silo, coming dangerously close to the remaining coolant tanks.

Raleigh found it hard to manipulate Biohazard into the tanks. While smaller and weakened, he was still bulky, and his random staggering made herding him difficult.



Felicia, meanwhile, was working on petrifying the final three warheads.

"Almossst...done...." She sounded horrendously weak. Her arms and tail and wings drooped, as though she lacked the energy to lift them.

(If no one posts an action in the next half-hour or so, I'll assume they do.)

(Gonna declare to keep things going. Don't think they'd have a problem with that.)

Those who had firearms that still worked opened fire on the coolant tanks.

PING...PING-PING...BOOM!

Two of the tanks blasted open from the sudden pressure release, blasting Biohazard and Raleigh with freezing freon.

Raleigh's super-cooled blood protected him from the freon, and equalized the temperature.

Biohazard was not as fortunate, and began grinding to a halt as his body metabolism slowed to a creep. Finally, as he staggered to the edge of the pit, his frozen body halted completely, all agitated atoms completely stopped.

Felicia's gaze lost its power as she completed the final petrification of the warheads. She fell over, weary and spent.

(Riku, feel free to deliver the coup-de-grace.)

The drop and stab cracked and shattered the massive Aberrant's body.

Several of his larger pieces tumbled into the pit, striking the stone missiles on the way down. The brittle bottoms of the thrusters cracked upon impact with his frozen pieces, and began crumbling and tumbling into a pit full of inert rubble.

Felicia looked up wearily after the collapse, dust in her scales and eyes. She was able to look at the others, the petrifying power no longer radiating from her serpentine eyes. "Did...we...do it?"

Felicia nodded. "I can sssee you! Wonder...how long thissss...will lassst."

She looked around as she reached for Raleigh's hand to aid her in getting back up.

She noticed his ruined mask, and indicated it to Raleigh. "Grab hisss gogglesss, pleassse. If the power comesss back, they might contain it. They kept hisss radiation at bay."

Felicia picked herself up, and looked over her new body, her scales and snake tail and wings and massive girth.

"I'm...a monster. There's no chance I can even fake it, not as big as I am and with no legs." She looked at Raleigh, her snake eyes teary. "And what about Hane, and Alex, and you and Szon? We're all monsters!"

"This is what we get for saving the world? This is how that goddess rewards us? Nobody will ever accept us ever again, even if we do save them all!"
