Yuki_Yubari Kouji glanced down a hall with few guards, they seemed to be fleeing. "Are they scared of what's making the woman scream or the woman? Could be either Kouji," he mused to himself. He grinned at the nervous guard who faced the door where the screams seemed to be coming from and headed forward. 
ninja ninja ninja *The guards voice caught in his throat, but finally he was able to stammer* "You...---Who...---Who are you....What are you doing here?!?"

"What did she ever do to deserve such sickening treatment?" She murmured, referring to his obvious manipulation of the priestess which she deeply disapproved of. He had no right to lie to the one he was supposed to serve and protect loyally - no wonder she couldn't trust him, "And I said before, whether she trusts us is entirely of her own - or rather your own accord."
Continuing to gather up the shattered pieces of the mirror she murmured somewhat incoherently to herself before shaking her head, "And who is to say that when the time comes...if the time comes, that we will let anyone except the seishi into the shrine?" She enquired at last, "Tatara, Tokaki and myself can easily block your passage...just like we dead to your temple," She warned calmly, slipping the broken shards into a pile upon the empty frame before releasing a heavy sigh.
"Your priestess will not enter - she does not trust us, then we do not aid her." She added with a light shrug, wincing briefly as a rather sharp piece of glass sliced through her finger, "I already said that too, now get this over with." She finished, placing her hand to her lips in order to step the blood flow from the wound.

Yuki_Yubari "Wouldn't that be telling?" He gave the guard a wide grin and swiftly attacked, aiming his fist straight for the guard's face. "Hope it hurts!"
ninja ninja ninja *The guard moved to bring the weapon to bear on Kouji, but the bandits skill was greater and the soldier yelped in pain as his nose was smashed in and his helmet flew off his head and down the hall. "We could banter back and forth all day like this...and it has become bothersome. Have faith in what you will, and should the time come, we will know who is right. Remember...I am not the only servant of Seiryuu...even though...I somehow doubt you and your kind can bar me again...especially, if you are all dead."
*He stepped around so that she was between him and the doorway out, the character on his forehead began to glow as did the energy focusing around his hand.*
"It will be over soon enough.."
*A combination of focused projection and a blast of Chi at her torso was formed targeted and sent in an instant. He expected her to go through the door, and into the opposite wall of the hallway*

Subaru mentally braced herself for the impact that came so suddenly to her body - she had long since prepared for it and was not concerned about the pain placed upon her physically but as she flew through the doorway (with a sickening crunch of broken wood) and crashed into the opposite wall she couldn't help but chuckle; how foolish was he?
"You fool!" She hissed, recovering at a startling rate as she clambered to her feet. Her hand continued to course with blood but the symbol above her left breath had begun to glow through the folds of her new robes. A smile flashed on to her lips and despite the slight blurring of the corridors she knew her bearings well enough by now, "I thought you were smarter than that." She murmured and with a shake of her head, gathered her robes with her 'unharmed' hand and sprinted down the corridor, running right passed Kouji although she did glance briefly at him and say but one word.
"Run!"

Kouji was more than surprised, he'd seen many things in his time but a sexy woman coming flying through the door hadn't been one of them. "Run," she mouthed to him. Confused and annoyed, he shrugged and followed after her. "What have you gotten yourself into now Kouji? Usually it's Genrou who's the troublemaker!"

*He had not yet seen KoujiBut that was not important. He would return to the Lady Yui, and expected to hear from Subaru, soon enough. He stepped over the broken door as the black clads faded from veiw, and turned down the hallway to return to the dining room where he had left Yui.*

Subaru was not having a good week, that much she could confess outright and no one within the right mind would disagree with her. Her expression had clouded over into one of absolute fury and as she sprinted round a corner and vanished into another somewhat obscure and deserted room she took a few moments to bless her wound and reverse time around it to such an extend as to return it to the state it had been in before she had cut it.
It was within this room that she began to regain her thoughts, he hadn't chased her so there was a 99.99% chance that he was up to no good and she was once again in the middle of it. It was at times like these when she felt like a bird that had had its wings clipped and it was not a pleasant experience.
"Help meee!" She whispered under her breath as though pleading to some unseen and yet all powerful force for some indication on a route to take.

Kouji ended up in an almost deserted room. "What's going on?" he demanded of the woman. She was quite pretty with long curly hair and a nice figure, innocent he knew she was not. "Sheesh Kouji, why did you even follow?"

Yui abruptly dropped her spoon and instinctly covered up her ears as a rather loud femine scream was heard throughout the palace. She wasn't sure whether the palace temporarily shaking from the scream was part of her imagination but she had a gut feeling that it had to do with the intruder getting out of hand. She was more than tempted to take a peek outside but thought against it remembering that Nakago had told her to stay put and he would be back with her shortly. Her brows furrowed in deep thought as her mind began to wonder what was going on out there. She knew that Nakago was perfectly capable of taking care of himself but still sometimes she couldn't help but worry about her dear friend who was just about her only companion in this world. Unable to take the suspention any longer, Yui finally stood up from her place and made her way towards the door. She wasn't intending to step out of the barrier but merely call out a servant and ask if everything was alright.

It wouldn't take long for them to finish searching the entirety of the isolated area, but they had not stumbled on the right spot yet.... He made a slight stop on the way, glad the servant had sitauated her in the general area he did. Nakago desired a replacement for the potion she had destroyed, for the ultimate catch would be to use her for his purposes. Since she would not aid them willingly, this was the next best thing...for the time being. The alchemist obediently handed over his last vial of the concoction...he would be spending the rest of is "life" for the next days making more. With it replaced, and tucked securely away, he quickened his pace even a bit more straight towards the dining hall.*
*Instead of being greeted int he hallway with a servant as she peeked out, Nakago came around the corner as if by clockwork, and paced down the hall towards her*
"I do hope the disturbances have not been to much for you Lady Yui. The Byakko girl appears to have her sights set on breaking me. And if they had not already broken their trust with you...*He pasued, as if he was going to go somewhere with that, but by then he had reached the hall, and looked down to her* "Did you eat well enough that we can truly get down to osome of our business? we will not be interrupted by the Aethereal creature anymore...and the intruder should be occupied for now."

Had she been in a more hysterical mood the poor bandit would have met his end then and there however after a few moments of observation she came to the conclusion that she had seen him before and he was the very same gentleman she had ordered to run when she had sprinted away from Nakago - funny how he had chased after her as opposed to finding his own hiding place.
"Friend or foe?" She demanded in her somewhat heavy accent, a being of Sairou could often be difficult to understand (granted Nakago had spoken a few times to her and thus was familiar with her peculiar manner of speaking) and so she wouldn't have been surprised if he just stared at her, then again...she had avoided his question.
