They are, however, doing a sequel to the Emperor's New Groove as well

The Heat as long as they never do one of Robin Hood, I'm fine. They are, however, doing a sequel to the Emperor's New Groove as well That might be good, though, the team that does Emperor is a very unique group. They did Cats Don't Dance, one of my favorite animated movies of absolutely all time. heart

Emperor's new groove I'll allow. It's recent enough that they can still recall the basic feel of the movie.

Not all Disney sequels are garbage; just the recent ones. No one can say that The Rescuers Down Under was garbage.
A sequel to Bambi is a very bad idea though. It can't be abided by.
I found the Mulan doll at Target that I've been wanting. It was only $10 so I couldn't resist. My shopping this weekend consisted of that and a wristband with the Thunder Cats logo on it.
I've seen all the old movies on DVDs like Charlie the Lonesome Cougar and The Cat from Outer Space at the stores. *sighs* I should check and see if my VHS copies still work.

That's my absolute favorite movie. No touchie Disney! Personally, I don't care if they do a sequel to Emperor's New Groove simply because it's so new they can pull it off. Mostly I think that Disney needs to leave their classics alone. There's a reason why they're classics. It means don't ruin them!

Oh -- I also read that Disney's going to do a 60th anniversary re-release of Song of the South in 2006. They're going to attempt to get some prominent African American actors ie: James Earl Jones esque people to do a little historical discussion about it. Personally I'm intrigued. water_maiden I just found out that aparently they're making a Disney sequal of BAMBI!!! scream gonk stressed sweatdrop crying surprised eek eek crying crying sad I think it's called Prince of the Forest, I so hope they don't ruin the first one, that was pure gold sad I never liked Bambi, but it sucks they're making a sequel.
