Thinking about Jay's comment as he dodged the thrown knives, Wave chuckled slightly to himself as he wasn't sure if that was possible. Because they were ghosts, the hedgehog wasn't sure if he was able to even touch them, even in his powered-up form. If he could, then the task was easy. If not, then... well... not as much. Lost in his thought, he was nearly surprised by the furniture that was thrown in his direction which was noticeable when he stopped for a single moment. Dodging in the tight corridor was getting rougher as larger objects were thrown at him, but, thankfully, these were more bearable to knock aside since they weren't sharp like knives. Once he was close enough, he reached ahead to attempt to catch one of the ghosts before flying down into the main foyer.

Iblis watched as D.L easily got rid of the hands. She didn't know who this hedgehog was or why he looked so much like Light, but Iblis had a feeling that he wasn't a good guy. Iblis' soul slowly went back inside her, but it was slightly cold to the touch. She winced in pain as it re-entered her body. She was breathing heavily and was rather weak from her soul being mostly corrupted. She was starting to feel worse. Like the inside of her body was turning cold. When D.L looked at her she didn't really react. She only looked up at him. But it was obvious in her eyes that she was struggling with something.

The screaming stopped, joyous. Now she was either dead or saved.
Turning to instead help Wave, he used his candlestick to somehow pry a door off a cabinet in a room and used it, with two hands, to try and attack the ghosts. Even if it went through them, surely it'd collide with the sharp things they were collect?

D.L heard no replies from either of them, Light though seemed too shocked to even speak. He had noticed though that those small wisps like spheres went back into their chest, it was pretty odd though but he could sense the corruption. It was almost like negative energy to him in away but maybe he could use that energy some how. It would probably hurt them but D.L didn't care, he just wanted more power to feed on and corruption was one of his favorite treats.
As D.L raised his hand towards Iblis, he smirked little towards her for a moment. "This might sting a little..." he said then suddenly his hand started to go transparent then went straight into the she-wolf's chest to quickly take out her soul. Light didn't seem to like what he was doing, but he didn't pay much attention to him as he gently held her spirit in his hand. He focused on the corruption and started to adsorb it slowly from her spirit. (evil much?) Light struggled to break free when he saw what D.L was planning, he didn't want that monster's hands on her. Although he was mostly worried that monster would kill her, with what he was doing to obtain the corruption. "Stop! You'll hurt her!" he yelled in rage towards D.L, but was completely ignoring Light.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ghosts shrieked in fear as Wave and Jay tried to hit them, falling back slightly to hide behind more hordes of ghosts that were throwing the furniture at them. Although it didn't last when Wave charged at one of them, scaring it into the group. It banged into a few ghosts and made them angry at each other, some even started fighting each other.

As he flew straight toward the first ghost he laid eyes upon, it seemed that Wave's tactic caused the ethereal being to retreat into the crowd of ghosts, causing him to simply miss it in general. However, he kept his flight path going, looking back behind him to see that the mass of ghosts were beginning to fight. Smirking for a moment, he turned his attention back ahead of him and turned into the foyer. It was then that a sudden pain hit him in his chest, causing him to lose his flight and skid across the ground for a second or two. As he laid there wincing in pain, his fur and spikes reverted back to their original color.
"Should have known... that this place was... going to make that difficult..." he muttered to himself as he simply laid there on the carpet.

'Well, joy,' Jay sighed, running after the guy who could fly. Heh, he rhymed...
'I guess, welcome to this place. Pain in the chest for two, please?' he babbled after he heard Wave's comment. 'And make sure to bring up some caviar too, miss... You happen to have a lighter, or matches? Maybe even a couple of stick or a tinderbox?'

Iblis cried out in pain as D.L reached inside of her and grabbed her soul. It felt slightly cold from the corruption. As D.L slowly absorbed the corruption from her soul, Iblis was filled with pain. Iblis wasn't sure what was happening to her, but it certainly didn't feel good. "ARGH! AHHH!" Iblis screamed in pain and agony. Every one of her screams echoed throughout the small air vents. Whatever D.L was doing, it was a slow and extremely painful process. Iblis fought hard to break free of the restraints, but it was no use. She was too weak to do much of anything at this point. She tried to shoot fire at D.L, but she missed and she had also stopped when she noticed something. Her fire was turning green.

D.L stopped when Iblis tried to hit him with fire, he paused as he watched it pass by him. He saw the flames color but didn't pay much mind to that. He stopped because he was amused by her ability to control fire, only for a brief moment anyway. D.L returned his attention back to the bright spirit like sphere in his hand, most of the corruption was adsorbed and there was only some left over. He decided that maybe that was enough, he didn't really have time to waste here. So he let the spirit go as it floated out of his hands, returning it back to it's owner above the she-wolf. "Such a weakling... you can't even with stand a little pain." he said heartlessly towards her.Light growled at D.L and struggled even more to break free, D.L noticed and walked over to him with a small smirk. Light looked at him with slight anger in his eyes but he was also confused why he was doing this. His guesses were pretty much power, D.L had always been after power and freedom.D.L smirked even more like he was enjoying seeing Light struggle, he had something planned since he first broke free because of that ghost. "Don't worry... I didn't forget about you." he said darkly then brought up his fist, and started to punch Light hard in the gut. At first it was just one punch to test something. D.L didn't feel Light's pain, which brought an evil grin to his face. Although then he started punching him even more in the gut, before backing away and letting Light wince in pain and cough.

Iblis heard D.L and growled at him. When she saw him punching Light though she filled with anger. "KNOCK IT OFF!" Iblis yelled in anger. She couldn't break her restraints, but she could shoot fire sort of. Iblis let loose a lot of blasts of corrupt fire. All aimed at D.L, she wasn't sure how many hit him.

Oh, the screams were back. She wasn't dead. Too bad it came from the vents... 'Dude, I have a seriously bad idea. It involves me, vents and you hopefully not getting killed by ghosts whilst I'm gone. Sound good?' he asked, hoping he got his point across quickly. (Sorry if I'm not posting often, my laptop has been confiscated from me for a few days.)

((I have trouble getting on as well, since I don't have my own PC.))
D.L got hit by the fire blasts and slid across the floor. His side was pretty much burnt slightly and his arm. Although he stood up like it was nothing (though deep down hes hiding the pain) but he was ticked off, he was pretty much glaring towards the she-wolf with pure hatred. "Someone seems to be dying for more pain..." he said with venom in his voice, he then lifted his right hand up and bolts of energy began to light up. Releasing a powerful electric attack towards Iblis but not too much power, he was only shooting a warning shot at her. A taste of his power for a moment. "Your both pretty much weaklings compared to me... and because of that ghost, I'm finally able to start my revenge." he said darkly with a small smile.

When he first heard Jay's comment, he couldn't but chuckle in slight pain as he flipped himself over onto his back, giving the echidna a slight glare. When he asked about some fire source, the hedgehog shook his head as he stated, "I don't carry anything like that on me... Try looking behind the counter, though. There's typically at least matches back there, I would assume..." Looking up suddenly as the vents seemed to scream, Wave heard Jay's next comment and nodded softly. Trying to stand up, he then stated, "It's... better than nothing, at least. Don't worry about me... If ghosts show up, they won't be able to stop this speed demon." Of course, the look of fatigue that covered the hedgehog was more than enough to prove against him.

Iblis heard D.L but before she could say anything she was hit with an attack. She yelped slightly in pain. "...I...don't fear...pain..." Iblis said out of breath. She was breathing heavily and it was obvious that if she took a strong hit, then she would be knocked unconscious. "If...I wasn't stuck...to this table...then I'd show you how strong I really am..." She growled at D.L. This guy was getting on her nerves, but she was so beaten up that there wasn't anything she could do.

Jay could see he was tired.
'Sorry, speedy, but even you need a break,' he sighed, grabbing him under the arms and dragging him over behind the counter. He searched quickly, find a scraper of the stuff used to ignite a match and a broken but usable match...
Good enough.
'Stay quiet, and I'll see if I can sort this out, alright?' he asked, peeking over the counter as he keep his fire source in his fist.

Light growled and tried to break free, he wasn't going to let D.L torture them like this. Especially Iblis in her condition, he was really worried for her. Light used all his strength and finally broke the bonds to his hands, he then went ahead and tried to shock D.L with electricity from his free hands. Knocking his copy back so he got a chance to free his legs. Although D.L was down on his back for a bit longer, so Light quickly went over to Iblis and tried to free her from the table.
D.L growled lowly as he sat up and tried to stand up, Light's sudden attack really caught him off guard.

The ghosts stopped fighting after a long while of arguing, then returned their attention back onto their targets. (Jay and Wave) The group of ghosts started to get closer to their hiding spot but stopped in horror when they saw the fire in Jay's fist.
