"Well, I think idealy it would be best to remain silent about the whole operation for as long as possible. If everything worked like that when the Jedi would find out about us it would already be too late. Maybe we could turn some of the younger jedi in the temple to weaken them and strengthen us. If we did that though the Jedi might realize that they have lost some people. Hmmm... Geren thought for a moment. After a few minutes of silence he thought of something. I've got it. I could try and pass as a new student turned away from the darkside. Slowly but surely I would try turning many children and teenagers from their teachings. Once I had many you could create a diversion by planning an attack on their temple. That attack could make the Jedi think the loss in numbers was mearly deaths from your attack.

"That is the stupidest plan ever because the temple has already been destroyed once in last few months. Besides, Corvina would see straigth through your little plan."
Angius scratched his head for moment.
"No, what we need to do is start training and training hard. I believe that if we work hard enough and with the force enough, we can attract those mysterious force users to allow us to join their ranks. From there we will have power and machinery behind us, as well as these two individuals. But first, we should away to Falleen."

Alright. I'll meet you there. Geren then set his nav to Falleen and soon he was near the planets atmosphere.

A hall of white steel, gleamng and well kept, stood before the man now lost to time. Soldiers and navymen went on their way, doing whatever they needed to do. The light was bright and the air was calm. And he saw himself and the vision ended. The facade crumbled away in his minds eye like fresh paint stripped off neatly by falling rain. Slowly a rusted out hallway replaced it, ancient dust floating in the gravityless hall. Everything around him felt like it was dying, though he knew some things about it had died long ago. As close to home as I'll get yet so far, far away.

Not used to hyperspace Zackaroth felt a little funny. " Oh boy..." he repeated again.

'We'll be there soon boy. And get used to low G's planet jockey, this is how real men travel.' Belial said in a mockingly masculine voice instead of his usually slightly nasally and obnoxious voice. ~ ~ ~ He floated forward, the hiss of his respirator buzzing out a small cloud of redundant fluids to keep the suit functioning. He gripped ancient bulkheads, once gilt and beautiful. This was one of the few rooms that had still had atmospherics when he'd left, so this was likely the worst damage done to the ship beyond the horrific damage done to the engines by it's final warp transition. He pushed on through miles of twisting bulkhead and empty rooms, even past a long empty chapel filled with ancient machines and the head of a mighty god whose steel eyes had lost their lustre long before..

Eventually he was where he was meant to be. An ancient chamber with a great, metal throne in its center, the remains of a long dead sailor trapped within it, the half-mummified face still there but not quite and caught in a horrified grimace. He made a sign across his chest in reverence to the dead man. He moved past the throne, a machine that imprisoned its owner, and a dozen computer consels. He went to a lesser throne, though it was far more intricate in design on a raised dais, in a recess on the deck ahead of it. It was the only seat that had a complete view of the bridge window.

He sat on the cold command throne, the words 'Ego, en coporum de Navis Nobilitae' etched into it along the top. His hands waved over the long sleeping controls and a cold voice comes to life, its words unintelligible to all but the man sitting on the throne and a machine far away. He was turning the atmospheric genreators and artificial generators back on and any bulkheads that could be pressurised did so, ancient oxygen scrubbers using what little they had of their stores and as much as the safely could take from the man's ship. Lights came on throughout the bridge as atmosphere returned.

He removed his helmet as a machine on his suit buzzed, signalling that the atmosphere was breathable for his species. He could have taken it off earlier, he could survive with less oxygen than most humans, but he preferred being on the safe side. His once blue gray hair was now begin to shift into a slate grey, a sing of his recent aging. Though he still looked fairly young outwardly, he felt more weary than he had in decades, maybe even centuries. He sighed and felt across the back of his head for old, hidden mechanical leads. They were still there and fine by touch.

He sat down in the throne after checking to make sure it was in one piece. Its old shape worn to the shape of his body long, long ago. It had been his throne, the Navigator's throne where none save his kind were allowed to even stand upon the dais, for centuries. Centuries during the deep sleep and centuries before that. He instinctually slid his head into a special slot in the head of the chair and suddenly a mental uplink device slid into a machine in the back of his head. Just after that it read his biology and a hundred more needle-like leads connected to his skull. He felt a jolt and he was suddenly one with the ship. With the Captain long dead in his own throne, the entire ship was his. He could feel its pain and he moaned.

The ship spoke to him in tones only he could hear and only he understood. He smiled warmly to himself as it greeted him like a long gone loved one and he greeted it in turn. He sat deeper into the chair and more leads connected to his arm, back, and legs. He groaned as the needles bit into his flesh. But it faded as he left his body, the fleshy mortal thing becoming numb, and his mind and the ship become one. At that time the throne began to lift with an ancient groan into the Navigator's dome, a sacred place where only he could be. It's multi-faceted crystal was the last thing he saw as his senses were replaced with the ships. His body was just a far off and weak puppet.

He turned each of the deactivated systems one at a time, bringing the ship back to life. Though he could feel rusted and decaying bits, places where little things stayed around and ate away at the ship for a while, that felt like an infected wound on the body of the ship. He would need to get those repairs. What hurt most though was the gaping wound on the aft end under the real space engines where the old Vult class warp drives had been. It was like a horrible would that had ripped out a vital organ or crippled a limb. He coughed up blood a little as he passed his mind over the wound, it was horrible in the utmost. He felt the machine spirit, the part that was independent of him, begged him to fix it. He wept tears of blood for it and embraced it. He turned on the last of the systems he could, the weapons systems and shutting down the atmospherics and venting atmosphere the only things the Navigator was barred from working with while in transit.
