"Ah, I think the Captain is very busy, though nearby."
Yata said, finishing his delicious sandwich.
"She's in the throne room, with someone else. Perhaps if we hurry, we can catch her in a good mood."
Yata levitated his plate to the sink, where it was quickly washed and cleaned in the air, as if by some form of sorcery.
"Her aura is very pleasant right now, You'd be 100% guaranteed entrance to the Striders if we go now. We don't have to, the Captain is very lenient to whomever wants to join anyway, but now would be an excellent time!"
He said with a positively springy tone.
"Who knows, she may even let you keep the kitchen!"

Baz watched in silent wonder as Yata cleaned his dishes, wishing she could do that kind of thing. She could, but only when it came to her arrows. Then she hopped off the counter and walked over the sink to wash hers by hand, sighing gustily. "Well if you think now is a good time, then I'm not one to argue. Especially if it'll mean I get a job" she said happily.

"Alright then! Let's go see the Captain!"
Hi voice was a bit sing-song as he once again went over to Baz and led her by the hand.
Positively smiling, he quickly led her out of the kitchen and through the living room, where he gave a quick Hi/Bye to Mori and Jon before leaving to the Throne Room.

Baz laughed as Yata once again took her by the hand and led her out of the kitchen. She was happy that she was finally going to be able to talk to the captain and see if she would be usefull, but at the same time she was somewhat nervous.

Mori nodded her head, liking his plan. She couldn't help the yawn that over took her, making her shake her head in disgust. By no rights should she already be tired. She hadn't even done much of anything today! The half-demon's thoughts were also on all the work that needed to get done up in her room. Sighing, she kissed Jon's cheek gently and removed herself from his embrace. "I really need to get to work," she said apologetically, reluctant to move but knowing she needed to. "I still have arrows to work on, besides wedding stuff."

Puck raised his head, trying not to laugh at her sleep talking. However, he was also curious about this brother of hers. Were they as close as he gathered from her takling and the specks of her dream he couldn't help but intrude on, or was this a one time only in their relationship? It was unclear to him, but still, he held her close for now, as it was all he could really do until she woke up. He just hoped she wouldn't hit him.

Anlu's dream was starting to take a turn for the worst as a storm hit against the ship her and her brother had been enjoying themselves on. Everyone was being tossed around. Her brother helped her get below deck, but thing were still unstable. Trying to be as careful as they could, her feet slipped out from under her, and her brother came tumbling down afterwards. Then she blacked out. At this point her body was nearly frozen in Puck's arms. Her fists and jaw clenched, then a small groan escaped from her.

She could feel her arm being tugged on, roughly in fact. Things were still dark, but in her dream her eyes adjusted to the dim ligth quickly. She was being dragged along by her mother. Seeing her mother's furious face, made her panic, and she realized she was a child once more, struggling against the pull towards the one place she hated to go. Shoving her against the door, Anlu gave a small cry and cowars before her. Her body outside the dream was trembling now.

That's when the yelling began. Her mother was always angry with her... as she could never be the heir the was supposed to be. "How could you do this, AGAIN! If I had half a mind I'd trade you in for the child of a bronze blood. They're more respectful and disciplined than you could ever be! If I catch you with that stable boy again, I swear you'll regret it for the rest of your existance!" With that, the young Anlu was dossed into the sone walled and windowless room, dorr creaking and then slamming shut. She could hear the metallic lock click into place. She knew she'd be there for a while, two to three days at the most... Then again, her mom always had a surprise in store for her.

Outside of the dream, Anlu had her arms curled around her and her knees pulled up. She was now in a tight little ball, or as much of one as she could get into while her trembling roughened. The room was always dark. In there she was completely blind. No sounds could ever be heard either, unless mother came back to let her out... most of the time it felt like she was deaf too. All she could do was sit and wait... and let the silent tears fall.

The space that had been occupied by Mori grew cold and Jon made a slight pouty face for an instant in complete levity. "I guess..." He laughed slightly to himself, "Probably need to rest a bit myself." He had noted the yawn but decided not to mention it, seeing as the little demon would most likely no react well to the commentary on her pushing herself so hard to do so much. Any one who tried to keep up with her would probably worn out as well. Jon had almost forgotten, "The lotus..." How long had it been simmering. He did the quick math in his head in hopes that he could figure the time to hours and minutes rather than days, "I forgot about it completely. If you see Anlu tell her that it should be ready if she wants to see it." He stood up and brushed the wrinkles from his clothes, "and if it isn't, it's a bad batch and I'll have to start over."

Kya walked into the main room of the living quarters of the Dawn Striders, and gaped. Talk about cushy. Red velvet and all the fixings.
and here I am, all covered in road-dirt, and they've got velvet! She thought to herself.
"Hello? Anyone here?" she called, in the general direction of the ladders.

Bringing Baz into the Main room once more, He found an open couch, letting go of her hand, and pouncing on the couch, sitting for a moment.
"Well, Welcome to the Dawn! As you know, this is the living Quarters, you know where the kitchen is, the sleeping Quarters are just upstairs. You just need to pick a room, there are plenty unused, considering most of the Striders like to wander around. Trainees usually stay within the walls, but It's more preferable to sleep out in nature, in my opinion."
Yata stretched a little.
He was still getting used to his new shape, and being shorter, with more proportioned limbs was a strange feeling.
He really needed to meditate on this new Compressed form, but entertaining his new friend was placed as top priority.

"We have quite alot to see here at Dawn Castle, there is the Lake, and the Court, and the Laboratory, and the Shore, and the Forest... though I'd advise against the forest... it's grown very dangerous as of late... but there is still plenty here! What would you like to do first?"
A big bright smile came onto the trolls face as he looked up to Baz.

"Well thanks very much." Baz said to Yata with a smile as they came into the living quarters. "I've been sleeping out in nature more often than not lately, so a real bed would be a welcome change for the moment." She said with look upstairs and a small sigh. "As for what I'd like to do first... I suppose I'd enjoy seeing the lake." Baz siad and smiled back at Yata.

"Cool! the lake is just outside Dawn castle entrance and is my favorite place to be by far!" He said, now suddenly sitting upside down on the seat, his head dangling inches from the floor as his feet dangled off the backrests.
" It's very lovely during the winter, the Ice freezes over nicely, and the trees take a white glow as the branches are covered in snow. Very lovely..."
Yata closed his eyes for a moment, as if his mind brought him back to the very spot they were about to be.

The world grew blank around the two.
It was but a moment, but the entire universe seemed to bend around them.
It was but an instance, but the two found themselves staring out into a crystalline lake, frozen over with thick ice.
The sky around them snowed with a very light touch as the ground was thinly beginning to settle in white...

Dre walks into main room and sits down in a chair close to the door. He leans his head back and groaned. "This place is so boring." He proclaimed as he pulled a single arrow out of his quiver and began to twirl it on the tips of his fingers.

Baz giggled at Yata, the sight of him hanging upside down on the seat quite amusing. "It sounds rather beautiful" she said of his description of the lake they were about to go see. She was looking at Yata, thinking he looked rather peacefull resting there, when she got the strangest feeling and suddenly found herself outside by a beautiful winter lake...

Kya had quietly watched a couple of people, enter, and then leave the living quarters main room from her spot in a dark corner. The information she had acquired that way had been quite useful, but it couldn't help to double-check it. There was someone else here, after all, a man spinning an arrow between his fingers.

"I'll have to agree with you there, sir" Kya said, then stepped out of her corner and into the light.
"There's nothing really to do, when you're new here like me..." she added.

Dre looks over as the woman came out of the shadowed corner. Hm, I didn't expect anyone else to be here. Although knowing one or two people couldn't hurt. He thought to him. "Well then that makes two of us." He says to her. "So if you don't mind me asking, what is your name?"
