"N...No I don't!" the boy exclaimed, not wanting to really help the two open the Pandora's Door to who knows what.
"Come on! Be a little more adventurous!" Ran added.
"No! I'm not gonna help!" the boy spoke, closing his eyes and using his hands to cover his ears.

The frown was back on Mickey's lips as she marched over at Higis, attepmting to pull his hands off his ears. "I'll make you a deal," she spoke, letting go of his wrists after one or two attempts, "If you help, and we still can't get the door open, we'll go back. Simple as that." ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

The few attempts that Mickey had done had given Higis enough information of the deal. The boy looked at the girl, somewhat unconvinced of her words. "You're not lying are you?" the boy asked, not realizing that if he didn't help then there was a greater chance that the door would not open and they would end up going back anyway.

Higis let out a long sigh before nodding his head. "Fine..." There was no harm in helping them if the door wasn't going to open anyway, right? The boy trudged over to the door with Ran half-assedly grabbed the door handle.

Higis made a noise that was more than likey a whine, but as soon as Mickey spoke the start off number, the boy pulled the door handle as hard as he could. What was worse, he could feel the door sliding with the three people pulling it. It was a lot more than they had done before but it still stopped after a few feet. Still, now the door was open enough for the three to slide through the door and into the next room.

"Thanks~" she spoke in the same tone as before, "Now, moving along~" She held out an arm to let Ran retake his place as leader. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"You knew that was going to happen!" the boy spoke disgruntledly though there was that obvious hint of fear.
"What could happen~" Ran laughed before walking though the crack in the door. On the other side of the door there was a room that was similar to the one that Shorn was still standing in though it was lit by the same green flames as in the passageway. Instead of a tree in the center of the room, however, there was a round stone table with a skeleton over the top of it. Through the rib cage of the skeleton, there was an arrow with a translucent broad head that was stuck in the stone. Underneath the skeleton on the stone table there seemed to be an old piece of parchment.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... A scared and shocked look flashed over Mickey's face upon seeing the skeleton, and she let out a surprised gasp. Still, once she glanced around the room and found nothing dangerous that could be seen, she stepped forward. "See, nothing bad's gonna happen," she spoke, with the slightest hint of arrogance. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

As Higis entered into the room, the sight of the skeleton made the boy's skin go white and it looked as though the boy almost fainted. The nerves of a lion was what this boy had- at least the cowardly lion...
"There's something underneath that though..." Ran pointed out, nearing the body slowly. It didn't appear as though there was any danger but things never seemed to be as they appeared- at least in the stories. The male snapped the arrow in half and moved the skeleton onto the ground to get a better look at the piece of parchment. The look on his face, however, seemed to grow disappointed as he took a look at the paper.
It was just a map, at least to Ran. On the map though, there were four distict figures. A white circle surrounded the city just to the north and there was a black line with another line that went through it on top of Mercunias. Another line was located directly over the capital city and there seemed to be a gold line with two lines coming out of it over in the mountain range. To sum up, it was a map with the current locations of the items- though he did not know that.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "What is it?" Mickey asked curiosly, approaching the blond. Fascinated eyes took in the map once she had sight of it. So this is what their world looks like, huh? she pondered. At least, it looked like a map. Even though she'd asked the question before looking at the paper, she said nothing else. No need to make herself look even more clueless about this world. Which reminds me... Mickey hadn't told Ran yet about the fact that she wasn't actually from Itacia. She'd have to do that at some point... ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"A map... but... it- no one usually makes strange markings like that on the maps. Not the ones I've seen and we get items from all over the world," the male spoke as he reached out to touch the paper. Before the male could actually touch the paper, the green flames extinguished themselves- or rather they moved into the broad head of the broken arrow.
Though the kids could not see it, the green flames had gone out in the hallway that they had taken as well. Flickers of ivory was caught briefly in Ran's peripheral vision.
"I told you so! This place was totally bad news!" the frightened voice of Higis cried out.
"Alright," the man spoke before adding, "Not as though you've helped a great deal anyway, right? We haven't gotten much further in our search than when we've started."

Be who you are, and say what you feel... The startled girl jumped when the lights suddenly went out. "Relax," she spoke to Higis, "We can just... feel our way out!" she suggested. No, that was stupid.... Mickey paused. "Ran, do you have that map?" A part of her wanted to hold onto it for possible future use. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
