Nailah's head raised at the mention of cheesecake. "You most certainly will have to fight me for it, Darius." She stood up and walked toward Aura. "You know how I am about my cheesecake. Please, Aura? Pretty please?"

Cole raised an eyebrow and looked at the boy who entered through the door. Now this was even more interesting. A demon boy. He decided not to say anything about the boy's tail, horns, and wings. Nothing else could surprise him tonight. Nothing.
He watched as Nailah jumped up at the mention of cheese cake. Why would anyone want a cake made of cheese? It did not make sense to him. He watched her strange behavior and saw a strange white substance on the plate Aurahkah held aloft. Very interesting.

Darius laughed, "Ok, I'm ready to play innocent child that needs food now! It's your job as adults to take care of me.' he nodded sage-like and declared it as he grabbed for the cheesecake. "Thank you Miss Aura." Then he walked off, got a fork and dug in right away, his stomach responding happily.

Aura laughed as he snatched the cheese cake right from her hands and right out from under Nailah's nose. She perched herself on the counter and intended to enjoy the show. "Hope you can fight her off Darius..."

Niah's eyes narrowed, "You little...you stole my cheesecake." She clenched her fists and formed a ball of fire in her hands. Throwing it at him she began to move towards him, while forming another ball. "You take my cheese cake. You pay. And dearly dear boy. Don't mess with my favorite food." Niah was laughing and shaking her head. "Come back here with that..."

Cole watched the scene unfolding before him. He had never seen anything like it. His family had always been stiff and proper. They had never played around like Nailah was doing with this lad. He was dumbfounded. Turning to Aurahkah he said, "Milady, does this always happen when this 'cheese cake' appears? Why does she want it so much?"
Not waiting for an answer, as he found the wholr situation akward, he stood, bid them all goonight and left the kitchen to lay claim to a room of his own for the night.

Aura looked to Cole and laughed softly. "Yes, it does always happen this way. It's her favorite dessert that's why she wants it so much." She shrugged. "It's fun to tease her about."
Eclipse snorted and groaned. Great, noise to add to the dizzy feelings going on in his head. He needed to find Vincent or some other person who could manipulate dark energy in the manner he needed. Pulling himself away from the chair her make his way to Aurahkah, leaning up against her.
Aura ruffled Eclipse's fur and just took to simply laughing at the two. "Niah, don't you think fireballs are a tad bit extreme?"

"What the hell?!?!" His eyes went wide and fearing for his life he went invisible, this time able to make the cheesecake that way as well. The fireball hit the counter behind him. He hurried up and finished eating all the cheesecake and threw the container at her. "What part of innocent child don't you understand?!?! You don't throw fireballs at children! You psycho." He threw the fork at her as well, then stood a few feet behind her and became visible again. "And now Aura's counters have scorch marks...."

Nailah crossed her arms and caught the plate but missed the fork. She ducked and glared at the boy. "You are no more innocent than I am. You stole my cheesecake and now you pay. And Aura's counters have had much worse." Nailah realized what Aura had said and turned to her, "Can't you be on my side? And no I don't think fireballs are extreme. I think they are perfectly reasonable when it comes to MY cheesecake." Nailah sniffed and dropped into a chair. She glared at Aura and threw a ball at her as well. "There."

Aura merely snapped her fingers a flame jumping to life at her fingertips and forming a smaller fireball, she then caught the other from Nailah, the one in her own hand merging with the one that had been thrown. She looked at it a moment then closed her hand, making it disappear. "You should know better than that." She laughed. "If it bothers you that much why not just get one for yourself? Saradin stocked them well."

Darius sighed and shook his head, "And I thought you're all adults, but you on the other hand," He was of course pointing at Nailah, "Tch, You almost act yonger than Khenu, and I thought you were really old." Darius flopped by Eclipse on the floor, "And fireballs are VERY extreme."

Cole shook his head. He was prepared to fight off the demon boy if necessary, especially when he threw the plate at Nailah. He had been taught so many times not to hurt women. Aurahkah's laid-back attitude was the only thing stopping the demon boy from having Peace Giver at his throat. Cole decided to sit back and watch what happened. For now, anyway.
"So how long does she stay upset? I mean, how important is this to her? And why would he do that if he knew she loved it so much?" Cole took another sip of his wine.
Turning to Nailah he said, "Why don't you just sit back down and drink some wine. It seems to calm you."

Aura shook her head, they were antagonizing each other now. She looked to Cole again who seemed like he was feeling out of place in a manner of speaking, maybe a little edgy. "Well she'll get over it in a few minutes, or until something better comes along. And Darius hasn't know Niah long enough to have knowledge of the cheese cake issue." She place dher hands on her hips. "Would both of you behave?"

Darius was tired of having daggers, fire balls and the like thrown at him. The look in Cole's eyes didn't reassure him. "She should still be acting like an adult. I told you Aura that's the second time I've been attacked in this mansion." Darius leaned back and tested his wings. When they're fully grown I can fly away.

Nailah crossed her arms, "He started it. And as a lady I am going to finish it." She walked over to the table and picked up her glass of wine. Downing it she sat back down at the table. She looked at Darius and said, "I'm sorry Darius I just really love cheesecake. I shouldn't have thrown the ball at you. I was just messing around. It's kind of a joke around here. I forgot you haven't known me long enough to know that though. Am I forgiven? Turning to Cole she said, "You have not been here long enough to possibly understand. HAve you ever had cheesecake, Cole?"
