Bastet raised an eyebrow at the boy then watched him, she spoke easy words, "Do not do something you do not want to." She was and was not prepared for this and restrained herself from asking probing questions. "A voice can coax you into something, but it can just as easily be ignored, either way it does not control your actions." Shifting her weight a bit, she looked at the horns and wings, not quite expecting those, then she touched one of the leathery wings. As she stepped back she mumbled, "Heh, yea I kept it a secret from you Aura..."

Cole's eyes became haunted at her question. He knew she meant no harm, simply wanted to find out more about him. It was still a touchy subject though. "No, I have no siblings. I am the only Dartton able to wield the mighty Peace Giver."

He paused for a moment and sipped the wine she had brought him. "I wonder though, in reference to my earlier crude thoughts, are you a mind reader? How did you and the boy figure out what I was thinking?"

He raised an eyebrow and waited for her to respond all the while keeping an eye on the wolf. Wounded or not, he could still be deadly. Cole needed to stay alert.

"Yes, I'm the one whose always seemingly the first person to hear important things such as a boy turning into a demon. But hey, I can be further down the information line." Crossing her arms she strolled around Darius in a circle, looking him over. "We won't let anyone harm you Darius. You can believe that. Not others, not us, not the angels. No one. You can trust my word can't you?"

Eclipse shifted his gaze to Nailah. "I know, I know, you ca't help me either. Maybe I can find the strength to find Vincent. But right now I want to rest...I had a mishap while in town.

Nailah nodded at Eclipse. "I'm sorry Eclipse. I really wish I could help you." She looked at Cole and watched his reaction to her question. There was a deep sorrow inside. She could feel it plainly. She decided to evade the subject and answer his other question. "Not a mind reader. I am an empath. Khenu is as well. That's why we knew what you were thinking. I didn't know exactly what you were thinking, but I knew they were not good thoughts. I feel your feelings. You were feeling lust and that came through to both me and Khenu." She took a sip of her wine and watched the wolf carefully.

Aura nodded to Bastet. "Slipped my mind. But yes, we'll take care of the vault problem when your'e more balanced." She crossed her arms. "Maybe it's because it's a bit more personable to me but Darius, I was once a punk kid who stole things and I killed people without being told to. But whether that matters or not. Like I said, you're a child. Still an innocent." She sighed for a moment. How to explain thieves honor without a long involved story. She snapped her fingers. "Honor among thieves...we take care of each other no matter what. Certain things are expected between thieves, like not telling on one another and such, looking out for each other no matter what or no matter how much you can possible dislike the other for actions, reasons, or suspicions. That's honor among thieves. It's not as worthless as it may sound." With a smile she raised an eyebrow at him. "Hungry?"

With a grim sort of embarassed smile he scratched at his horns and watched Bastet walk off. "Yes, I'm reeeeeally hungry, but uh, what'd you guys just say?"

He thought about it a moment, "And there's no honor among thieves where I come from, sounds nice and convenient though." Really convenient unless someone moves in on your territory. Like I should move in on the kitchen right now. He moved to the kitchen some, then remembered the other person he saw there and hesitated. "It's getting hard to hide it now..."

Darius freaked out a little, still ashamed of the way he looked, and was ready to go invisible should anyone react oddly. He eyed the man warily then followed after Aura, further into the kitchen. "Um, anything really. What's around? Oh, and I'm not a child, I'm pretty much grown. You can tell me what you were talking about...." He trailed off mumbling.
