Ashen Rahman reached the small part of the encampment with the prisoners. They looked up with eager faces as they heard foot steps but when they saw the image of the valheru they turned their heads away to avoid eye contact.
He looked the prisoners up and down and when he came to the bulkiest one he pointed to him.
Are you willing to fight me for your freedom?
The ico was wary, but after moments of contemplation he stood up and nodded.
The valheru grabbed a word from the side of the tent, then found the keys to the cge the prisoner was kept in.
He opened the door and gave the big man the sword then stepped away and drew 'Overlord'.
The Io charged at the Valheru, but with one swift movement, Ashen Rahman had swivelled around him so he was was facing the ico's back. From this position he rammed his sword into the mans spine and as he arched his back Ashen grabbed his head and pulled it back further, with a horrifying crunch, the valheru had bitten a chunk out of the mans neck.
blood spurted everywhere, it especially smattered around Ashens face.
The prisoner fell limp, but Ashen heald him up and continued to devour his jugular.
The other prisoners looked on with disgust and shielded themselves.

Ranae shot on through the night until she sensed ashen ramen was very close. she saw movement down on the ground ahead and grinned with malice. With a cold laugh she landed in the trees and began to leap from tree branch to tree branch. as she approached the edge of the large clearing in which the ico rebels were camped, she landed on all fours on the ground an then stood and began to walk into camp. she was a terrifying sight in torchlight, the blood splashed all over her skin, her eyes glowing crimson through the dim light, and her wings fanned out around her. SHe would have called out for ashen ramen right then if her current state of mind didnt restrict her speech. it was taking all of the little grain of control she had left in her to merely walk without destroying everything around her. soon she would encounter life and begin her fun.

Guards around the ico rebel encampment noticed a figure move into the camp. Knowing their orders, they clumped together and formed a battle formation, they approached what they thought was a normal person and barked an order.
"HALT"
But as the figure came into their light, their smug faces soon turned to shock. This was no person.
Meanwhile Ashen Rahman had finished his meal and left the headless corpse on the floor to the disgust of the other prisoners.
Josh began to complain.
"your disgusting, i swear i shall make your death as enjoyable to both me and Renae as possible."
Ashen Rahman shook his head and exited the tent.

Ranae stopped walking and rolled her neck, a torch at her back, one in front of her could only see the shadow of her body and wings, but for the glow of her deadly eyes. Ranae slowly crouched on the ground, placing her hands on the dirt in front of her. Then she barked something herself. Though it was no order. it was a bark. Had it belonged to a dog, it would be the most vicious canine on earth. Her voice still eerily echoed, her snarling bark was a bone chilling sound. She continued to make these noises, growling ferociously she watched the warriors squirm. lifting one blood soaked hand she lpointed one finger at the men and spoke one single, rather slurred word.
" come."

The men backed up slowly, one whispered to another and then he ran off, leaving 9. Those nine unsheathed their swords preparing for the onslaught at hand. They now spread out in an even formation.
Then one even sized man with a moustache made an attempt at an attack. He charged in and slashed downwards. The rest of the men following suit.
The man that had run was given orders to find the nearest person in power, in the camp. He ran for his life scrabbling at the dirt when he fell.

Ranae clapped her hands together, catching the mans sword between her palms, she stared up at him as she ran her tongue over the blade of the sword. In the blink of an eye she thrust one of her clawed hands upwards through his gut, causing yet more blod to splatter over herself and pour down her arm, she thrust her hand ever deeper inside of him until, upon ripping it out,she brought his heart with. The man dropped to the ground instantly as she squeezed his lifeless heart to pulp in her hands. She leapt up into the air and came down on another gaurd, digging her claws deep within his throat and ripping upwards. She had leapt from his shoulders and killed another before that one had even fallen to the ground. Now she slipped behind another gaurd and grabbed a fistfull of his hair in her hand, wrenching his head backwards. with all her force, she pulled back at the same time as she thrust her elbow into his spine, breaking it. she slit his throat before wrenching his head back further, disconnecting his head from his body. She stared at the remaining guards threateningly as she stodd and held the mans head over her mouth and let the blood pour into her mouth.

The remaining guards althougth utterly scared had a duty to do, They spread apart as far from each other as possible so that they could castch the 'beast' off guard, then they went in with another joint attack.
The guard that had run, soon cxame into the path, of a still hungry Ashen Rahman. The valheru thought to kill him but then he saw he was an ico rebel and thought better of it. The guard relayed information which caught Ashen rahmans attention and soon they were off to the scene of the battle.

The head of the dead man still in hand, ranae darted at one of the men and upon wrapping her free hand around his head, sunk her fangs deep into his throat and locked her jaw, ripping a chunk of his neck out before kicking the mans body away. she turned and snaked past another gaurd, wrenching his sword from his grip and leaping into the air, coming down on another gaurd and thrusting the sword down into his spine. Pulling the sword from his body, she threw it back at the man whom she had taken it from. the blade made contact with the mans skull and he fell to the ground dead. She leapt into the air once more and came down on another gaurd, her feet making contact with his shoulders. she twisted her body, breaking the mans spine with a sickening crack. She then tackled the one remaining gaurd onto his back. straddling the man she dropped the head beside her and bagan to flail her arms, pounding them down on the screaming man, ripping his skin to shreds.

As Ashen Rahman and the remaining guard approached the carnage, the gaurd quivered behind the valheru.
Ashen Rahman saw th hatred and anger burn within Ranae. Although she had horns, wings and was smattered in blood, there were vague references of Ranaes image.
so your not as weak as i first thought, that matters little, for if i were to exert my full force onto you, i would crush you like an egg shell.
Ashen moved his cape out of the way and drew 'Overlord' , he then pulled the man from behind him and slit his neck, fed from him, then threw him at Ranaes feet.
Do you want to die!

Ranae did not turn to look at ashen ramen, she stayed where she was on the man, the head once again in hand. she examined the head, looking over the expression of terror glued to it. In a way she hadnt heard ashen. This Ranae could not listen to reason. she was a mindless killing machine. even her speech was limited to one word sentences. all she thought of was blood, fear, and slaughter. after a moment she did turn to look at him, slowly. She layed eyes on him and grinned maliciously. in the blink of an eye she threw the severed head at him with full force. and she rolled off the man, crouching on all fours, she began to gowl and bark as she had done before, this time even more viciously if that was even possible.

A smirk appeared from ashen rahmans face, he then pulled a mask from behind him and positioned it on his face.
He held his sword upright and muttered a few words. Three runes on the sword burst into light, he then pointeed the sword at Ranae.
Firstly a small tornado was created, within seconds it grew larger and stood between the valheru and the draconian. The the second rune flashed and fire burst from the tip of the sword, it enveloped the tornado, untill they mixed and now there was a spinning flame tornado. The last rune lit up and sparkles of energy danced on the blade. A lightning bolt crackled on to the tornado now, leaving fire, lighting, and wind mixed. The creation whirled, and crackled. With a few more ancient words it was blasted towards Ranae.

Ranae shrunk back, still growling ferociously, unsure of the giant swirling fire in front of her. she bared her teeth at it as a threatened animal would do and took of into the air, shooting straight upwards until she was about twently feet above the scene. it was difficult to fly with all the currents of wind so she shot back down again, straight at ashen ramen. she tackled him the the ground and straddled him as she had the man and raised her claws to the air, getting ready to strike with a triumphant look on her blood splattered face.

Shocked by the actions of ranae, Ashen Rahman blazed with energy. Green sparks flew from the eye holes in his mask.
Letting his sword go, he raised his arms to grab Ranae by the wrists, with a wrench he threw her over him. He himself then straddled Ranae.
He put his knee's on her arms and ran his hands over her face.
you look so beautiful like this, have you ever thought of staying this way. But enough of the humour, and on to more serious matters. That attack was just from the sword, you ever try to fight me again, and i will tare you llimb from limb
He smiled once more and got off of Ranae. Then with a disgruntled look, like something was lodged in his throat, he stumbled. The bright light that assosiated itself with transformation, blasted the area. The once hulking form of Ashen Rahman had gone. Now there was Josh , curled on the floor. He still never quite adjusted to the sensation.

Ranae got into a crouching position, low to the ground with her hands out in front of her. still quite threatened, she growled viciously, her eyes flashing with rage. her mind could not comprehend the transformation, nor what ashen ramen had just said to her. all she knew was that this creature could still be a threat to her. but yet something held her back, which made the animal like draconian even more uncomphortable. she shifted nervously around, growling ferociously at the elf, her eyes never leaving him.

Josh looked up. For the first few seconds his sight was a little blurred, but when it returned to him, he had the fright of his life. There was the form of renae that he hated to see right in front of him. He had encountered it before, and that had shocked him greatly, now in his weakened state the reaction was tenfold, he screamed and backed away.
With 'Overlord' still near him, he picked it up and held it loosely, he did not have the energy to fight but he would defend himself if needs be.
"Ranae ... Its me....Josh.... please turn back."
