Be who you are, and say what you feel... Mickey gave a small laugh, ruffling the boy's hair and starting toward the exit. She would, of course, let one of the guys take, but for now the exit was simple enough to find. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

 It's all about mind over matter...
"O-Oi..." the boy spoke, not happy about having his hair ruffled by the girl. There was a light blush on the boy's cheeks that could be seen but it was not a vivid red.
Ran followed after Mickey towards the exit with Shorn following after him. It did not take a lot of pleading for Higis to quickly get into his competitive mind set and quickly take the lead ahead of them all. Unfortunately for Higis- who was expecting an upward path to the surface- he stepped onto a downward slope, losing his balance and tumbling a ways down the path, yelling and oof-ing nearly the entire time he was moving around in the dark.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... For a moment, Mickey could only stand, flabbergasted, and listen to Higis fall. "Higis? Are you okay?!" she yelled into the darkness. What happened? She could have sworn the path went up before... ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's all about mind over matter...
There was a moment of silence before a very pained "N...o..." came back, along with some shuffling noises that indicated that he was trying to stand up. The sound of muffled laughter could be heard and if one was watching Ran, it was easy to see the light quivering of his shoulders and the hand clasped tightly over his mouth.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "Can you stand? Can you walk?" The questions shot out of Mickey's mouth like verbal vomit. She didn't look to see Ran's attempt to hide his laughter. The half demon strained her green eyes to see into the darkness. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's all about mind over matter...
"I'ma be alright, mommuh..." the boy whined back though it seemed that he was already getting back to his normal self. It was just the initial hurt that occurred that he didn't enjoy. Still, it did not seem to him as though he was seriously injured in anyway. "Watch your step!"

Be who you are, and say what you feel... Taking small steps at first and hold her hand against the wall, Mickey began making her way down to where Higis had fallen. There was only one way, so it wasn't that hard. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's all about mind over matter...
Ran followed after Mickey but it seemed as though he had some trouble walking the first couple of steps as he attempted to stifle his laughter. It was a lot darker within this passageway than it had been in the other one, but the area where Higis had ended up had gone from cave decor to that of a stone passageway.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... It was obvious that it was not the same path they had arrived on. The real question was where it was leading them. "You okay?" Mickey asked once more once she thought she was near Higis. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Ran chuckled lightly, nodding his head although the girl could not see him. Higis was already starting to head forward once more but the steps were far more cautious than his normal foot fall seemed to be. He could not see and that made him more wary of anything like traps.

In addition to the fact that it was high tide, and they'd already descended some to get to the temple in the first place, the group were going even further below sea level. Mickey was extremely curious as to where they were, but obviously none of the boys knew that. Well... maybe they'd find an exit somewhere. Still, since it was well past sunset, that wouldn't do much good unless there was a really bright full moon out. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
