Bastet leaned close and whispered into his other ear, "Oh believe me I wanted to kill you when you hurt Khenu, you have no honor if you harm a child even the slightest. It is her order that keeps you alive, but if you somehow get loose and hurt anyone else in the manor, I will kill you no matter what she says." She hissed sinisterly in his ear, then leaned back and drew one of her paws from his throat. She punched him hard in the face, "By the way, that was from Khenu, even he does not hold you in his graces, and he is but a pure child."

Khenu ran his hands over his cheeks and smiled brightly. He hugged Bolt tightly then threw himself into Niahs' arms hugging her with one arm Bolt still safely secure in the other. "Thank you Niah. Really."

Looking to Cole Khenu cocked his head to the side and his eyes slid closed then snapped open. Khenu scrunched up his face. What was that feeling? He hadn't felt that one before. "What the hell are you thinking?" Khenu eyes widened for a second at his word usage. Sure it was okay around Bastet. But this was Niah. "Um I mean heck yeah heck."

Nailah plunked her hands on her hips and said, "Khenu!" She listened to him stumble and change his word, then said. "Don't use that kind of language. Who taught you that, anyway?" She used her empath senses to feel out Cole and narrowed her eyes when lust entered. Khenu was only ten and didn't need to know that kind of stuff. "You get those thoughts out of your mind this instant! I will not allow those kind of thoughts around him!" she said crossing her arms and glaring at him.

Khenu played with the feathers in his hair. "From a parrot back in my village. It taught me other stuff by I think you wouldn't like it too much if I told you those."

He then looked down from Niah and to the glass that had hit the floor. "Aura is gonna be mad..."

Cole leaned down and began to gather the shards. He cleaned it up and walked over to Nailah. "My dear Lady Nailah," he said. "Please forgive my earlier rudeness. It was not right of me to accuse you of being a witch whne you so graciously opened the manor to me. Also I pray you will excuse my rather...crude thoughts. Although I was not aware you were a mind reader." He finished his sentence by lifting her hand to his lips and kissing the smooth skin.

Aura walked to Khai and kneeled down next to him grabbing hold of a wrist that came up to catch hold of her. "Nife-en-Ankh." She held back her spell somewhat, only half healing the man. Then made sure to give him a kick before she stepped away. "Farewell but not goodbye my traitorous little worm." She slammed the vault door shut again and locked it accordingly. She gazed at her bloodied sai for a moment the strided over to Bastet. She took hold of Bastet's wrist and moved into a shadow walk pulling the cat eared woman with her, allowing he to shadow walk as well. She led her friend through too familiar darkness until both of them reappeared just inside the doorway of the kitchen. "Everything alright in here?"


Khai lay on the floor in the vault staring up at the ceiling. He cursed his luck, cursed them even more. Trying to sit up pain shot through him. Apparently they hadn't healed him fully. Great. If could just overcome this pain maybe he could still get out. He wasn't going to let this happen to him everyday.

Bastet raised an eyebrow, "That was interesting, I can somewhat see why you did not enjoy the power at first, it is not the best sight you see when shadow walking." She walked up to Khenu and hugged him making sure to keep her bloody paws away from him. When she further walked into the kitchen to inspect things, she saw Nailah and someone she did not recognize. "Hey, Nailah. What was the crash for? And hello Cole, you a good friend of Nailah's?" She held out her bloody paws again and looked at them in disgust. Walking over to the sink she cleaned them, not wanting to alarm the stranger by licking off the blood herself. The blood probably tasted foul anyway.
