 Be who you are, and say what you feel... Silently, the girl came to a stop also, but offered no suggestion as to where they should go. Higis knew where they were going, and if he didn't Ran and Shorn would correct him, right? All Mickey had to do was follow. The ever-growing pools of water alongside the path had thrown her a little bit, but she had enough balance not to fall. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"Ah, which path was it again guys?" Higis spoke, looking over at Ran and Shorn, "You know, the place with the big ol', y'know..." "I think it's down the third path, wasn't it?" Ran spoke, pointing to the path in the direct center. "Fifth..." Shorn spoke, inserting his own thoughts. "I thought it was the first..." Higis replied, trying to figure out which one it was. All three boys knew that the even numbered paths ended up a bit dangerous, but it was hard to say which odd numbered path would lead them in the correct direction.
Too bad you will...

 Be who you are, and say what you feel... Oh great. Mickey kept in a sigh. Of course they would all three pick different paths. "How about eeny meeny miney mo?" she suggested, only kidding, "Or spin around and pick whichever one you stop at--kidding!" she added, worried Higis might actually do that. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"But they were good ideas!" Higis spoke, smiling. The boy's smile quickly minimized when Ran gave him a look that told him that it would not be wise to do any of the ideas. "So which path do you think we should take Mickey?"

"We would if we knew which path that was~" Higis laughed, not completely understanding Mickey's hesitation in the decision process. He merely wanted to get going, ready to take any risk that may come his way. Granted, he never thought that he could end up fatally hurt or something close to that.

 Be who you are, and say what you feel... "..." The girl looked unsure for a moment, but then sighed. "Alright." She decided on the eeny meeny miney mo method, but did the rhyme in her head, pointing to each odd-numbered door in turn.

Higis let a dejected sigh escape from him, having hoped that she would agree with him. Her game of chance, however, led her to point to Ran's suggestion. "Well, shall we get going?" Ran spoke, smiling a little bit smugger than usual. The smug-ness was most likely because of how dejected Higis had sounded when the boy found that Mickey hadn't agreed with him.

 Be who you are, and say what you feel... The half demon hadn't meant to upset Higis at all; she hadn't known what she would land on. However, she wanted to keep going. "Let's," she agreed with Ran, but gave an encouraging smile to Higis. "Hey, if it's the wrong path, we can just turn around and take a different one, right?" ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"Alright! The next tunnel we take is my tunnel!" the boy spoke, easily getting over his disappointment and trotting ahead of everyone else so that he could take the lead. It was all too easy to get too far ahead of the group, but it prevented the boy from watching where he was going. Being a few feet ahead of the group, the boy's physical image suddenly vanished from view and a surprised yelp could be heard for about half a second. "Higis!" Ran called out, startled that the boy had suddenly left his field of vision, "Are you alright?!" The blond headed in the same direction to see where the boy could have gone. Though he was somewhat rushed, he watched where he was walking.
(The right tunnel? Yes? No? )
