Miles smiled once again, holding up a bottle of old whiskey. "Drink." He said, in response.

"I've found that some humans find it helps dull the pain, though I'm sure not by much. Would you like to try it?" He asked, already pouring two drinks.

"It depends." Miles said honestly. "I have seen, in the past, humans turn mindless and uncontrollable once they have changed. I have also seen ones who could maintain control. It all depends on the strength of the one turning, and how long they can withstand pain before completely loosing their mind. But... in all the cases that I've witnessed, when they are first turned, they all are the same for the first few hours."

Miles blue eyes watched Tyrell critically, noting as muscles constricted, and pupils dialated. It seemed this boy was turning rather quickly.

Miles released a quiet sigh, that even another vampire would have difficulty hearing, as he continued to gaze at the boy.

'I'm sorry Tyrell. This should not have happened to you.' But then again, horrible things happen all the time. In his long, long life, Miles knew this to be one of the only consistant truths.

((I have to apologive for my very long absence. My surgery left me unable to type very long and I admit I've sorta placed this rp on the back burner for a while, since it was sorta in a comma. But I'm back and healed enough to use my arm. ^_^))

Camaris walked down the road, Serena tagging along behind him. "So what were those questions you wanted to ask me?" she asked. He galnced back at her, but didn't say anything right away. "You know what I want to know." he stated. "Not really. Theres alot of things we think you'd like to know." she said. When he didn't say anything else, she elaborated. "Well for starters Rena always thoguht you'd want to know about experiments, locations of her havens, numbers of her army, and other things." she said. He rolled his eyes. "Just give me information. I dont' really care what it's about." he said. She shrugged. "Fine. I'll start with experiments, but can we sit down first. I don't like talking like this while I'm walking." she asked. "We'll arrive at my Tokyo haven shortly. We can talk there." he said. They walked for a good twenty minutes before arriving at the mansion. "Nice place. How you'd afford to build it?" she asked. "You forget that I was a knight under King Henry V. I was wealthy, part of the reason Rena turned me." he said. Selena nodded. "Okay, that makes sense and all, but this house wasn't built in the fourteen hundreds." she observed. "Your right, during much of my unlife I kept my anme and status as a nobleman public knowledge. I set it up so that I decended from a line who had a tradition to name all of their firstborn sons Camaris. I would flee the country I was in at the time before my youth became suspicious and go to another country, usually folowing the paterns that Rena did, though sometimes I was forced to flee while she remained in secrecy." he said. She nodded again, fully understanding. "So by doing that you were abel to hold onto your wealth." she said. He entered the gate. "Yes, though it was a bit tricky towards the begining. I had to find a way to seperate my wealth from that which the king granted my widow." he said. "How'd you accomplish it?" she said, following him into the courtyard. "I made a claim as my older brother who had just returned home from a pilgrimage to the vatican." he said. "And he wouldn't have been around earlier because he was on said pilgramige. Therfore the crwon wouldn't be able to deny his claim." she said, amazed at how well he had thought through things over the years. He smiled. "Right. I neve was to type of immortal to hide in the shaodws all his life. I enjoyed society and the life I knew when I was noble." he said. "And alive." he quickly added. He walked to the door and it opened for him, William standing just over the threshold. "Welcome back sir. I see you have brought a guest." the butler said. "Yes, and she's like me, so prepare her a room like you would for me." he said. He turned to Serena. "You should go with him. You'll be able to choose whichever room you want. I'll be in the library when your done." he said. With that he turned and left the her with William. The butler bowed and waved his arm to she she should take the lead. "This way my lady." he said. She looked at the man. He wasn't japanese, but other than that she was unable to tell where his ancestry originated. "Do you always talk like that or does he pay you to?" she asked. "I'm not sure I understand your meaning." he said. She rolled her eyes. "The question was rhetorical. Nevermind, lets go." she said. She walked up the stairs and poked her head into the first of many rooms.

((My body started rejecting the two titainum rods in my arm and the state of my arm was degrading at a very alarming rate which made it hurt all the time. I didn't really have any notice either. It was basically, "Your rods need to be replaced A.S.A.P., your surgery is tomorrow." So yeah, not fun at all.))

Camaris sat in one of his arm chairs facing the fireplace in the library. He heard the door creak open, but made no move to stand. If it was William, he'd say something before approcahing, if it was Serena, he'd know when she sat down. He heard the fall of light footsteps and smelled a faint aroma of lavender. He raised an eyebrow, it was definiatly not what he was expecting. He turned and watch as Serena sat down in the other chair. She was wearing dress he had purchased during the French Revolution. "I wanted to remove my armour but had nothing else to wear, I hope you don't mind." she said. He shook his head. "Not really. I had bought it for Marya, but she never really liked dresses all that much. She'd avoid wearing them if she could." he said. She looked at him in shock. "You mean Mrya as in Rena's daughter?" she asekd. He nodded. The room was silent for a while when she asked, in a hushed tone. "Were you to involved?" He nodded again. "For a time, but I put an end to it." he said. "Why?" she asked. He took a deep breath. "It was during the second world war while we were in London. I couldn't stand to be there, as it was the city of my birth. It pained me to see the land on which my family's home once stood, and to see that it was covered with places of business. There were too many bad memories to want to remain for any period of time. When Rena left I was happy to follow, but Marya had grown tired of all of it. She wished to remain. I told her that while Rena was still alive I couldn't rest, not after all of the atrocties she had commited. So I left, and she stayed." he said. He stared into the fir. "I'm sorry." she finalyl said. He shook his head. "Don't be. I was with her in the end, and everything she held back she told me then. I was only able to open my heart one other time since then, but I don't think I'll be able to a third." he said. He took another deep breath. "Enough of this. Let me ask those questions now." he said. She nodded. "Alright. I'll answer whatever I can."

Miles watched silently, his face relatively void of expression, save for his eyes, which shone in the dull light, something dangerous about them, while he waited. It would not be a quick transformation; it never was.

((That sounds just awful. :[ Sorry that happened; I hope it feels better now.

((I kinda ran out of things to post about the transformation, so Ill just.. flaot over here.. and pretend that when I post laster, its been...later..??? yesh?))

He slowly got up and looked around as his body felt numb. He was built thicker with muscles that werent his, eyes of pale white that werent his looked around. He crouched low and things looked dull, or black and white. He raised his gaze to a being in pale blue light. He bared his fangs and backed up, on all fours, or all four of his legs!? He was in a large wolf form and didn't even know it, only thing that whent through his head was hunger...
