Korin-Chan //I think that's the Ronan Yukata, I'll have a quick look before I buy it. *Lip quivers, gets all teary eyed* You would do that for me...*sniffle* I feel so loved...- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Korin-Chan It was just not her day. Gritting her teeth, the seishi allowed herself to be 'bound' to the wall by the unseen force and continued to observe Nakago with a steady gaze - she had nothing to say that was of suitable use at present and nor did she think it was the appropriate time to say anything however there was one thing he had forgotten and that was the window.
Subaru made no other movements, made no indication that she had discovered any fault in his little plan (for she could break his hold with significant force of her own...she just had to wait for the right time) and instead, waited.
Keiko however had begun to cower from Nakago - her 'solid' shape had began to fade and as it did so the wispy tendrils of the wraith became more and more visible; whatever ward he had conjured was slowly beginning to devour and dispose of the wraith but it was odd that she wasn't fighting back...unless she was waiting for something of course? *Before turning back to Subaru, he wanted to make sure that even if the complete banish took a while, the this creatures tounge...and other communications were cut off. Already it had directly attacked him in front of Lady Yui, and even that parts that held the truth, though she refused tem initailly, may have sown seeds of doubt. No more. He pulled the parchment once more and found the spot. He began that portion of the spell again, extending hsi hand towards her mouth and crossing over it as if "X"ing it out. There was no emotion in the act of slowly destroying the creature..and the satiusfaction from it was not even enough to illicit a responce, so he gave her one last glance, and then as far as he was concerned...she all but didn't exist. Now to deal with Subaru.*
*He turned in silence and moved yet again towards her figure, held up against the wall.*
"And so you insist on going through with it this way...Even in death you choose to be troublesome..."
*He brought her to eye level with him and stood not a foot away, staring into her eyes expectantly...almost as if he was waiting for something...and he was, but it was not neccessarily something from her*

//Awww! *Huggles tight* Well, your clothes do kinda clash - somebody has to step in eventually and scold you for it. xp
"Of course, but only because I know that if you kill me then you have no chance of acquiring the means to summon your deity should you fail the first time," Subaru pointed out coolly, her eyes flashing triumphantly as the pieces finally connected in her mind; all the clues she had been given now formulating in to one simple object.
She spoke of the Shinzahou of course, but in her mind it was a simple artefact with potent deital powers. She was unaware that it had been the summoning of Byakko that had formed it for in her ressurected state she simply didn't have that knowledge; had she acquired it, she would have disrupted the balance of all things (so to speak).
Meanwhile, despite her inability to communicate; Keiko was extending a wispy tendril towards the mirror. She may not have been solid but a wraith could cause a great deal of disruption when entirely necessary and now that she understood what he had done, she was quickly readying herself to cause one last spike of havoc.
The tendril at last reached the mirror and with a silent giggle, the wraith knocked the mirror and the table in which it sat over. It crashed to the floor with a massive bang and the inevitable shattering of glass while another of her tendrils stretched out to attack the bed - well, if she couldn't talk she would make herself heard!

Kouji wondered if he should be scared, he wasn't of course but he wondered if that was what a normal person should feel. "Interesting place this," he commented as he briefly glanced around the room. It wasn't overly fancy but the wall-hangings, gold candleholders and oak furnishings did imply richness. There was a loud CRASH! "What in the name of all that must be stolen was that?!" the bandit cried.

"Interesting place this," he commented as he briefly glanced around the room. It wasn't overly fancy but the wall-hangings, gold candleholders and oak furnishings did imply richness. There was a loud CRASH! "What in the name of all that must be stolen was that?!" the bandit cried. ninja ninja ninja "What the?" *Glances shot back and forth between the guards.* *To Kouji* "Wait here" *Three quarters of the guards headed off in the general direction ((Horrible Pun...)) of the shattering mirror leaving only two or three waiting in the chamber with Kouji. What a day today was turning out to be. There hadn't been this much "excitement" in the Palace in a long time. The few left behind couldn't hold Kouji there if he didn't want to be held, but they didn't think he would want to go anywehere...so they just sood in formation waiting for their next order from a superior.* *The guards outside the room had flinched...and they turned towards the door backing away, not sure whether to enter or not.* *Nakago was about to respond to Subaru, when the sounds of the shattering mirror hit his ears. He didn't move, in fact barely flinched, but spoke loud enough for both Subaru and Keiko to hear*
"Even in death...so troublesome"
*She intended to come out of this alive...he gathered that even though she had said death over servatude...she intended to get out alive.*
"The Shinzaho has already returned to Sairou...with your feeble companion...so that cannot be what you are depending on now. What is it that you are hiding up your sleeve?"
*He brought one of his hands to her neck, still holding her up with the Chi, but putting a bit more pressure on her, not choking yet, but enough to be felt*

"I have already told you - should you fail then my own kin will blatantly refuse to aid you, the shinzahou will be completely lost to you if you strike me down." Subaru replied with very little difficulty, her gaze remaining steady and defiant. She was telling the truth when she didn't fear death for it was a part of the life cycle in which she lived however it also benefited her - her brethren knew that should she be held ransom they would not surrender and should she be killed then woe betide that which had killed her.
"Do you want to fail your priestess and then explain to her why it is that we refuse to help you?" She continued on, a wry smile forming on her delicate lips as her eyes narrowed - instilling doubt could be done and considering the continual disruptions caused by the fading wraith she could calmly proceed down the road in which she desired to take, "Do you want to admit that it was your murderous tendencies? Your lies? Your deceit?"
Falling silent, she then turned her gaze towards the wispy tendril now pulling hard against the bed - there came a loud crunch and after one final heave the entire bed collapse. Another loud crash was soon to follow and after a few moments, the wraith like being smiled cruelly - in her last moments she was becoming more destructive but the worst was to come.
Eventually the spell began to take it's full effect and as the wraith began to contort and stretch she crossed her arms over her chest and filled her unseen lungs. Her white eyes flashed angrily and as she threw her arms outwards once more and arched her back she released an ear piercing scream - had the mirror been present it would have shattered in its entirity for no spell could hold the last shriek of rage that the dead could contain.
With that, she herself exploded but a large shockwave tore through the palace and into the external areas of the city - the scream rippling along upon the pulse; the scream that would be heard only as: "Nakago!"
"How long can you lie for?" Subaru whispered in a calm and gentle manner.

Kouji winced and stumbled at the force of the shockwave that had seemingly come from nowhere. He was then deafened by several screams. "Somebody needs help," he remarked aloud, glancing at the guards mischievously. "What kind of heroic bandit would I be if I ignored a lady's cries?" He punched one in the face, kicked another in the stomach, forced open the door and then darted off after the screams as fast as he could. They were loud and definitely in the palace and he was certain he was getting closer. "Woah guards Kouji!" He ducked round the corner.

Tasuki gave a loud cry as a shockwave caused him to follow over. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?!" he roared loudly, jumping up and tightly gripping his tessen. Screams reached his ear and he wondered where they were coming from. They sounded feminine. "Girls and their problems," he muttered to himself.

"How long can you lie for?" Subaru whispered in a calm and gentle manner. *Again Nakago was about to respond, but the creature was going to go out with a "bang", and so he waited, and only cocked his head at the scream, for its strenth was great*
*He then contentedly turned back to Subaru*
"Considering I don't intend on failing the first time...That should not be a problem. But should it come to be...I have my own ways of getting what other do not wish for me to have."
*He released her throat and turned towards the window*
"I do that which I must to accomplish my goals. Surely you understand that. Turning your life over, and for what, to delay the capture of a young girl from another world. Your sacrifice will be in vain if she has not already escaped from the region...*He paused, his eyes flashed briefly closed, his life force still holding her, and then sensing*..."And considering the Suzaku life force here in the City...That is highly improbable."- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Yuki_Yubari Kouji winced and stumbled at the force of the shockwave that had seemingly come from nowhere. That strange screa left some of them quaking, some curious, others just pretended it was nothing.* *Around the corner put him int he hall with A: The least guards, and B: the door to the room where Nakago and Subaru were. Being so close and hearing the rukus, followed by the insane scream, one of the two guards left ran away in fear, the other was backed against the wall, facing the door, weapons drawn, sweat pouring down his face.*

"Not if you cannot enter the shrine of Byakko," Subaru pointed out coolly as she closed her eyes and calmly pressed her hands against the wall. They became white with the sheer force in which she was exerting upon it and slowly but surely she pushed herself forward and away from his hold - when a being had recovered from the initial shock they could fight back and she was by no means an exception to this.
"Not if you cannot enter a land protected by divine hands," She continued to chastise in a dark manner, her tone a little tight due to her own struggles but with a final 'oof' she did manage to take a large gulp of breath and steady herself behind him, a suitable distance away from the wall but she still refused to use any of her own powers to challenge his, it would only cause trouble.
"And then how will you explain your failure to your priestess? The Byakko being stubborn - but for what purpose, what have Kutou done that is so bad?" She began to walk towards him and released a gentle chuckle as she examined the destruction the wraith had left behind, "They killed a warrior of Byakko - and why?" She paused for a few moments and came to his side, her expression stoic and virtually unreadable.
"Because that warrior was trying to save another priestess from undue harm; who is the criminal and murderer in that?" She finished and backed away once more to tend to the broken mirror.
"She will escape, she has every faith in her warriors and has much potential - I can see it."

Kouji glanced down a hall with few guards, they seemed to be fleeing. "Are they scared of what's making the woman scream or the woman? Could be either Kouji," he mused to himself. He grinned at the nervous guard who faced the door where the screams seemed to be coming from and headed forward.
Hey don't worry about Tasuki Nakago he's just lingering around Miaka and Nuriko at the moment lol, just thought I'd let him have a little reaction smile

"I need not personally enter the shrine of Byakko in order to get the Shinzaho...should it become neccessary. And do you really think I will be barred from my celestial duty, even by one of the four gods? If we come to need the Shinzaho, then Lady Yui will be the one to enter your land..and I will be bound to make sure she is safe until she has succeeded in her goal. The intrusion into your lands justified and unchallenged."
*He turned back to her, leaning on the windowsill, not bothering to press more against her, desptite her combat of his power.*
"As for Kutou...*His eyes narrowed, a peculiar manner unseen before*...Kutou has long been on the road to its own destruction. The lady Yui hoewever...intends to try and save it. And when she succeeds...the only thing you need fear from Kutou, is the fact that she can no longer trust any of you...foreign seishi."
