Travis backed up, not having a worry in the world. "We'll see." He was gone, like a coward leaving before the fight ended. Maia lay crumpled on the floor, her hair covering her face. She swallowed, her breathing hard as she glanced up at Damian, wondering if it was safe to move. The figures that had surrounded them were gone.

Once the clenched fist opened the spirits went back to their normal positions and lived happily once again where they were. Damian took off the gauntlet and it disappeared by a burst of flames. He helped Maia up and held her, "You ok?"

Maia couldn't talk due to the duct tape and she was too weak to stand on her feet so she basically was leaning on his for support. Smaller spirits were feeding on her flesh because of the dried blood that was there. Her hands were still hand cuffed and her wrists were raw. She sniffled, closing her eyes and felt hot tears burn her eyes. Even without the duct tape, she was just glad to be somewhat back home.

He took her out and away from the little pests and took off the duck tape, he laid her on the ground. The handcuffs were simple to get open and her bandaged her unearthly wounds pretty well.

Maia's face was red from where the tape was and she still had tears in her eyes. She still didn't say anything even if she wanted. She sniffled once, but quickly tried not to anymore so he wouldn't sympathize. She just watched him bandage her wrists and ankles, the bruises healing once in the moonlight.

He he sat and held her in his arms, tears falling from his eyes, even though he tried to hide them well, but they just came, he was so worried about her, "I thought I was going to lose you Maia....."

She shook her head. "Please doll...I don't die that easily." She lied, her voice shaky too. Maia felt lighter and she saw his neck taking the oppurtunity. She leaned up as if to wipe his tears but she winced in pain when she was moving aside his collar for his shirt instead. She wanted to eat because she'd been straved.

"Go ahead and take as much as you like, I have plenty of blood for you" He smiled and leaned down and pulled her up to his neck.

"No..." she said, pushing his neck away. "I need to rip the meat off of someone's bones..." She looked up at him, her eyes gleaming with hunger. "Let me go..." She sat up more even though it pained her to put pressure on her wrists. ''I'm not going to eat you." She bit her lip to keep from moaning in pain as she stood up on her unsteady legs.

He pulled her back down and laid her onto the ground, "Maia you are hurt, you shouldn't move and besides, I'll go out , the sun will be rising in a few hours and we can rest and eat here."

Maia landed with a "umphf" letting out a slight moan of pain. "So you're going to find a human for me and rip 'em apart with me?" She smiled weakly coughing and at least sitting up to look at him.

"Yes of course" he smiled at her and took of his large coat lying it on the ground for her to sit on., "I'll be back in a few minutes."

Maia waited for him to return, waiting for him to leave before she moved. She looked down at her fingertips where a tear she had wiped from his face bubbled. She sighed. "Don't cry for me, doll...I'm not worth it." Maia sat, staring at her finger where there still was a tear.

She was worth it to him ,he loved her as well, he was soon back in the cave with a man he just laid on the ground, he had knocked him out, so tahtat it was fresher for her.

"He's still alive right?" She said, pressing a hand on the man's stomach and felt him breath but at that moment, he jumped into a babble, trying to let her not kill him. She grinned down at him, pressinga finger to his lips. "Shhh...it's alright now...you're safe." She said, lying. "You need to stay put you're hurt." She wiped the blood from his temple and wiped it on his shirt. The man started to quiet and stared into Maia's eyes a few words being uttered from his mouth. "Are you an angel...?" Maia smiled innocently, removing the finger from his lips and kissed him once. She put her hands on each side of his face. "I could be...maybe. I saved you didn't I?" She kissed him deeper for a few seconds until he screamed when she came back up, he couldn't talk anymore because his mouth was bleeding. She chewed on the wriggling tongue in her mouth before swallowing. It was too late that the human realized that she wasn't an angel but a monster. She grinned. "Shh...it's okay." He was crying out in pain even though his tongue was gone and felt his head being turned to the side until it made a quick snap. Maia chuckled amusedly, licking the blood from her lips. "I just saved your life." She dropped his head, dabbling a finger in his blood and then sucking on it for a moment while surveying his body.
