Tarik catches up to the other men. They seem to have lost Sasori and are looking in all directions. In the dark they do not notice him from the other men. He tries to blend in and watch them. There are too many of them to take on by himself even in the dark.

Monica catches up to Tarik on her horse and looks around. She notices that everyone in the clearing is a man, so she puts her hood up, in hope to blend in a little more. She rides closer to Tarik. "You think you could take them if I back you up with my bow?" She whispers. She knows th odds aren't that great, but perhaps they could get most before having to leave.

Angel continues through the forest then she runs into Vlad on his horse. He is on his way home. "What are you doing out here by yourself?" He asks her. Angel explains what happened to Sasori. Vlad is upset and says he will ride home to get some men. He tells her to go back to find shelter and hide so she does not get hurt.
Angel watches him leave then continues on the path to find Sasori. When she gets closer, she can see that men are searching through the woods in groups. They must have lost her. Not wanting to get caught herself, she decides to head towards the nearby caves she was held captive in. She can hide there until Vlad comes back with some help.

Tarik whispers to Monica, "there are too many of them here." "We will need to pick them off quietly in small groups while the search so they don't notice." Tarik puts his rifle in a holster on the horse then takes his sword instead so that there will be no noise. "Let's start with the group over there." He points to a group of three heading north towards the stream.
They follow them quietly the take them out silently. Tarik takes the cloaks from two of them then hides their bodies in some bushes. He and Monica put them on so that they will blend in more. The watch to select another group to take down. There are still another 9 to go.
Vlad comes with the colonel and 30 men. They surround them and the strangers. "Where is Sasori?, he demands." Tarik and Monica take off the cloaks they stole and meet Vald. "We've not found her yet." Tarik looks around and sees that the leader and 2 men are is missing. "Where did their leader and 2 men go? We must find Sasori before they do!"

Sasori hears someone coming into the cave. She cannot see who it is and she has no weapon. She picks up a rock, ready to hurl it at the intruder. Sasori stands quietly trying to keep the horse quiet. The figure comes closer with a lit torch. It is Angel! "Angel, over here it is Sasori."
They are happy to see each other. Angel fills in Sasori about Vlad and shows her the coins and dagger. Sasori turns white. "It is from the sultan." Sasori tells Angel of how she was kidnapped and sold to a sultan but escaped. "They must have found me!"

Monica swing her hourse around, though with trouble, for quite unluckly she had chosen to ride English today. "We'd move slower, but if you want, I can go fox and try to track them? Just don't run over me." She said. Then ajusted her reins and waited for a response.

Tarik whispers to Monica, "It might not be a good idea with all of the general's men here with Vlad. They might see you. We will have to wait for a chance to breakaway from them."
Tarik says to Vlad, "Maybe we should split up in groups and search the forest for Sasori and the strangers."

Tarik and Monica volunteer to go off in one direction by themselves. They go towards the mountains. When they are far enough away, "I think we are far enough so no one will see. You can change and track Sasori. I will follow with your horse."
Tarik ties the bridle of Monica's horse to his saddle so that the horse can follow while Monica transforms.

Monica turns into a fox and sniffs around. "We might have to go back a bit so I can get the smell." She concludeds, then runs a back into the forest.
They don't get to far before she picks up the scent and leads them in a different direction, and soon they're out of the forest again and heading up a mountain.

Tarik and Monica reach the top of the mountain and see three of the hooded men hiding and looking into one of the caves. 'Sasori must be in there.' she whispers to Tarik as she turns back into a human and studies the surroundings. "I have a good shot from here. I can pick the first two off in a second, but three arrows it too unpredictable, and anyways, shouldn't we try to capture at least one of them? To find out whats going on."

The first hooded man carefully walked into the cave, and Monica took the oppertunity to silently shoot down the other two. Her and Tarik ran up to the mouth of the cave and followed the other one in. The hooded guy had clumsily left footprints which were in plain veiw. Monice drew her kanata in expectation of a surprise attack.

Sasori readies her ninja stars. She holds them in her fingers waiting for movement at the front of the cave.
