Cody hugged her back and smiled up at her. Melody smiled at the sight. She woundered however what had happened to them back there. And what did she mean she didn't need his help in keeping Cody safe? Melody woundered about it.

Kurama looked at Ashley then melody then at Hiei "would you like me to walk you home girls?" Kurama asked
"yah that would be nice thank you" Ashley said in a kind voice
Hiei just stud there "fine if you don't need my help then I'm out of here!!!" he said loudly

Melody watched and smiled at Kurama. "Yeah that would be great thanks Kurama." She said calmly as she started to walk and was soon next to him.
Cody held Ashley's hand and walked with her.

Ashley looked down at Cody and smiled as they walked with Kurama and melody
Hiei just stood there ((damn)) he thought to him self
(("Hiei what did you do?!"))Kurama said to hiei telepathically
((hm nothing I did nothing)) he said back to him

Melody still walked. She felt soemthing go off inside her. It was like she could hear a dark and evil voice. Her eyes soon fell and looked lifeless. She stood and her hand went to her wepaon she had onher back. Bring me the child kill those around you. That's what the words were saying. Melody lifted her chain scythe out and held it in her hands.
Cody had sen this and tugged onto Ashley's clotheing to try and get her to see it to. Cody's eyes went wide when he saw Melody holding her weapon and the look in her eyes. To him she looked like she had no life in her eyes.

Ashley stopped and looked down at Cody "wh-what MELODY!!" she said in a frantic voice pulling Cody behind her and drawing her sword to defend them
"Melody what are you doing where your friends!?!"
Kurama looked at Melody and saw the same emptiness in her that Cody had seen. He then went over to her "MELODY! MELODY! WAKE UP PLEASE!" he said despritly trying to snap her out of her daze

Melody looked up in her mind she was trying to think why she had to kill them. why must I kill these people? She thought as she started to swing her chain scythe round. Cody clang to Ashley as he saw that Melody didn't seem to know who they were by the why she was swing her weapon. Melody looked up and started to attack them. But she had gave them time to get out of her way as she was trying to fight.

Ashley stood her ground she knew that something wasn't right "KURAMA TAKE CODY AND GO!" she tolled him glancing down at cody who had s firm grip on her shirt
Kurama took Cody by the hand and started to lead him away

Melody looked as Vody was led away from Ashley by Kurama. She used her chain scythe to try and attack Ashley.

Ashley blocked Melody's scythe with her sword "Melody what are you doing snap out of it" she said as she thrusted her sword forwarder throwing her scythe off.
Hiei stuck around for a little wile to see what the outcome might be

Melody didn't seem to have even heard her. She started to get her own sword and attacked with that, leaveing her chain scythe on the ground. Melody looked to see where Kurama and Cody was so that she could get the child.
