I feel like I'm Mabel (the girl twin) like 90% of the time.... (just not as boy crazy)

You know honestly I too relate to her on a very deep level.

I want either my boyfriend and I to be Dipper and Mabel for Halloween next year and dress up baby as Waddles the pig or do Over The Garden Wall and be Greg, Wirt, & Jason Thunderberker the frog but he says it would be weird to be siblings.... i just like cartoons haha

I'll be honest I do not know how that second group of people are but d'aw. That sounds so cute. I'm a sucker for cute, you know.

I'm a bit of a cheeseball. Over The Garden Wall was a really good miniseries done by cartoonnetwork. highly recommend it =)

Ah no wonder I have never heard of it. I have not looked at that channel in many years, actually. Back when I lost cable it was starting to get really stupid and I never bothered to look at what was new since I've discovered computer tv.

So true. Which is why I have not lost all hope. Anime is usually pretty good, though.

You know honestly I had to build up my subbed attention span. I still can't watch it when I'm eating. I used to not watch subbed but I came to a show that I really wanted to watch... The Irregular at Magic High School, and they were not going to dub it so I watched it in subbed and then I realized that it was not all that bad. Until now, though I was the only person I knew with that problem.

I've always wanted to really learn a new language.
And I have THE SAME PROBLEM.
Like some times my little brother and I'll try to watched subbed anime to gether and he'll have to go back some times and I'll have to go back twice as often 'cause I don't like missing stuff and I get so distracted. So it will take us an hour to watch an 15 minute special so it just does not work.

That's exactly it! And as much as you want to like something, it's really hard to enjoy it like that....
He grew up with both english and spanish so he learned french really easily while he was in school.... i know very little spanish & hes been trying to learn to sign as well because were planning on raising the baby with english, spanish, and asl... but hes really slow with signing and im really slow with learning new spoken language so we can at least understand the issues the other was having. (i self-taught asl and it was super easy for me, other languages ive been really slow to pick up on)

aww thank you =) he was raised bilingual and thinks it's super important to pass that on (i mean baby will be 50% hispanic, it would be crazy for him/her not to know it!) and i've read a lot about baby signing and it allows them to communicate at a much younger age which i think is awesome =D so we're both like yupp, the baby might be our motivation to learn the language we struggle with!

That's awesome. I've always wanted a good reason to raise multilingual children but chances are I'm just going to marry a normal Black guy... which won't be too bad but then I will have excuse for Japanese fluent kids (u_u) I should finish learning Swahili before I decide to get married, I guess.

learn what youre good with and then build. there's usually similar languages (since he's started with english and spanish, french was super easy and speaks a little italian too) the more languages you know, the easier they are to learn too!
the main reason i decided to learn asl was because neither college ive been in offers it and it's a good attribute for my major (music therapy) so i essentially have a one up on a lot of candidates because i can work with more disabilities than some others =)

You know I too am planning on learning asl because I want to go in to special education. I think it would be good for me to have under my belt, because I am sure I will be teaching deaf children in my future.
