Giggling helplessly with laughter, Mori half-heartedly tried to squirm away from Jon's tickling fingers, taking a deep breath of relief when he stopped. She listened to what thoughts of his she heard on purpose for a change and said, "I always found skating on the ice soothing, not to mention freeing." The half-demon shrugged, obviously not bothered by his frank analysis of the different kinds of cold he had incountered. As warm-blooded as she was, they didn't make that much of a difference to her.
Puck looked down at Anlu, startled when she actually turned closer into his embrace. It was a first for them, her actually seeking him out, even subconsciously. He was glad her nightmare had faded, at least, though he was curious about her dream. It took most of his restraint not to look into her mind and see, and instead focused his telepathy on those around them. He heard only whispers of thoughts, nothing solid and little more than emotion. It was a muted sound in his head rather than the uproar that he was used to.

Jon let out a happy sigh. He enjoyed her laugh, it was pleasant even when he forced it out of her. "The lets do it, lets go there for a little vacation. It should be nice in the spring, at least I hope. I'm not the expert on the area or anything but it seems like it would be fun." They could enjoy the mountainside have nice little picnics and such, and if it got too cold the could enjoy a nice little fire. Perhaps Jon was turning into a bit of a romantic, but he couldn't help it, he was in love.

Her dream continued as she slept soundly for once. This was probably the first time in a long time that she could sleep with no worries whatsoever. Normally she was a light sleeper, keeping and ear out for trouble. Now, however, her sleep continued to deepen. "Brother... you're... drunk..." Her tone was slightly concerned, but heald a breathy lugh to it. She would never admit to sleep talking.
Back in her dreamland, the dancing continued and she tripped over her own feet and fell once or twice. Her brother helped her up each time and they laughed together at what a clutz she was. Eventually the sun set on the horizon, and she was in her brothers arms being rocked by the sea. She was almost alseep there too when her brother's friend came up with another bottle of wine. "No... leave us be... you shouldn't encourage him to drink anyways..." Her brother laughed lightly and shook his head at his friend. He would agree with Anlu for now.

"...and then, It exploded! Can you believe that?!" Yata hadn't stopped talking for the entire duration of the walk to the living quarters, but when they got there, He had to stop for a moment to greet Mori and Jon, who probably wouldn't be able to realize the handsome young man who was dragging along a girl was their very own Yata'Djinn. The realization would probably come in some form of shock, how their once purple troll friend looked more like David Bowie. Just as handsome too.
"Wow! I'm surprised you two are still sitting around! It's such a nice day out, you should go for a walk or something. I feel very strange right now. I think I might have shrunk in meditation. I also can't seem to stop talking, and I really don't know why, but it's so good to let it all out! Did my skin color change too? Ah well Never mind, gotta show Baz the kitchen, Bye!"
Like a blur, Yata was quickly in the main room, and then out of it as the two stepped through a double door into the kitchen. "Haha! I knew it was nice!" Yata gave a triumphant little cheer, as well as a big smile as his presented the kitchen to Her. White linoleum floors, large counters, plenty of shelf space filled with goodies from all parts of the world. The place was built for a professional chef. "So, what do you think?" He said with a big smile.

Baz had simply to Yata's ramblings the entire way to the living quarters, enjoying his energetic nature. When they came to a stop and he greeted his friends, Baz could do nothing but stand quietly. Having a shy nature as she did, she really wasn't one to come out and introduce herself. Even if she had wanted to, however, she was being pulled along before she got the chance. Baz couldn't help but let out a laugh as they finally reached the kitchen. "Oh my goodness! This place is wonderfull!" Baz said excitedly as she saw the roomy space. She trailed her hand along the spotless counters as she walked around, looking at everything. "I mean, I've been in some pretty nice kitchens in my day, but this is one of the best. It's got everything." She continued to mumble to herself about the greatness of it all, acting like a child in a candy shop, untill she realized what she was doing and came to a sudden stop. "Sorry... it's just so nice, I got carried away. I haven't been in a real kitchen in ages." Her shy nature was starting to take over again, and she was suddenly very self-concious.

Yata only smiled kindly to her excitement. "I remember, one day, a famous chef had no place to go, and requested to be quartered here in exchange for his services. When he saw our kitchen, he light up like the sun on the morning dew. ' The troll gave a small laugh. Things that seemed once forgotten to him felt so near to him now. It was an amazing feeling, knowing all these details rushing at him like the freshest gust of wind. It was invigorating, and in turn, make him a bit hyper.
"Feel free to use it all! Whatever you want. We usually don't find time to cook here anymore, being so busy and all, so help yourself!" He said, giving a little spin with his arms in the air, as if he were trying to showcase everything. Then his stomach grumbled, rather loudly. "Ooops, guess I really was hungry..."

Baz smiled at his story of the famous chef. "Well I'm certainly not a famous anything, I'm much more comfortable under the radar." She said quietly. Yata's happy mood and energy were hard for Baz to resist and put her in brighter spirits. As soon as she heard his stomach growl, however, she let out a small gasp. "Of course you are! That's why we came here, so I could fix you something. Anything in particular sound appealing?" It's really not surprising that he's hungry, considering what happened... she thought to herself.

"Oh, I don't feel picky today. How about something we can share?" He said Joyfully as he walked over to a random unused counter and sat on it, moving his legs back and forth as his heels lightly tapped it, creating little 'thunk' sounds as they continued in motion. It was strange, usually the troll was so mellow, but now, he felt a sensation that was a mix of being giddy, jittery, and hyper. He seemed to not mind though, and he definitely seemed to be enjoying Baz's company.

"Hmmm... Alright, I'll fix us something up real quick." Baz said with a smile at Yata. She wandered around the large kitchen untill she found the things she needed. Well this is certainly going to a simple meal, but it's fast and will get the job done... she thought as she put it all together. Once she was finished Baz set the food up on some plates and walked over to join Yata sitting on the counter, handing him a plate when she reached him. "Well I certainly hope you like grilled cheese sandwhiches." Baz said with a slight grin. "It's not the best I could do, but you said you were hungry."

"Oh! I don't think I've had grilled cheese before!" Yata was quick to grab a slice of the gooey, yummy smelling sandwich, giving it a healthy whiff. "Ooooooooh, smells gewd..." The troll said, as if it were the most heavenly aroma he'd ever sniffed. "Doesn't smell like there's any meat in there either..." Yata took a small bite, munching on it slowly to categorize the taste. "OWAH! It's Delicious!" The troll jumped off the counter, spinning with the plate in a strange fit of glee. It was only left to assume it was the best thing he'd ever tasted. And no meat!

"Is it good that there's no meat?" Baz asked him questioningly, watching as he took a bite. "I know it's not much, but simple is sometimes better, and this is a favorite of mine." She gave a huge smile at his reaction, happy that someone enjoyed it so much. "I'm certainly glad you like it."

"It's very good that there is no meat!" He said with an as-a-matter-of-factly tone, which was kind of hard to pull off while spinning with a sandwich. "I'm a vegetarian, meat doesn't really appeal to me." Yata quickly hopped back onto the counter, it was amazing he wasn't the least bit dizzy. "I mostly eat alot of grains, fruits, nuts, herbs and greens, so this is a welcome change of pace! I absolutely love it!" He said with the utmost giddiness in his tone. "Thank you Baz! Your so Nice!" He said while taking another small bite and savoring it with a happy expression.

"I'm not a great fan of meat myself." Baz said with a laugh as Yata spun around. "I do like poultry though, that's about the only meat that I like." His giddiness seemed to be rubbing off on her, making her a tad more talkative than she normally would be. "And there's no need to thank me, you were hungry, I like to cook... it was the perfect arrangement" She said with a nod. Though I had no idea a simple sandwhich could get such a reaction... she thought. "So... Yata... how long have you been with the Striders?"

"Hmmmm..." Yata began to ponder, still savoring his sandwich. "Lets see now... I think I joined... about..." Yata had to use his fingers...well, not really, but he used them anyway. "I think almost ten years! I joined when I was young and reckless, and the psychic spark had just manifested! Not that I'm old now, but still! Though it might be less, I did spend some time out of my body..." The troll pondered for a bit, taking another bite of the grilled cheese as his gaze examined the ceiling for a moment. "Well, I've been here a while." He said with a bright smile. "You just joined, didn't you?" He said with a spark of curiosity packed into his giddiness.

Ten years... I've never been in one place that long. It must be nice... Baz thought to herself. "Oh me? I just arrived here yes... but as for joining... I need to speek the captain about that and see if she'll have me. Anlu offered to take me... but it seems she was sidetracked." The elf said with a smile. "So at the moment I don't have a clue as to whether I'll be staying here or not."
