 Yeah, that's right...
"Are you sure?" the boy spoke, sounding completely unconvinced, "What if it gets infected?" Nevertheless, the male slowly moved towards the inn once more.

Yeah, that's right...
"Alright then! We'll have her heal you before we head out then!" Higis spoke, a little more cheerfully. He had no idea that Mickey's entire group most likely wanted the girl to be separated from the guys that she was currently hanging out with.

"Not too far! After we get over these boxes, we should have a straight path!" the boy spoke, climbing up what appeared to be a pyramid of boxes. Very few adults would ever take the kind of path that the boy had taken. It was more like an extreme playground than anything else.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... Laughing once more, Mickey followed with an "Okay!" She scrambled up the boxes after Higis. One or two more tiny scrapes appeared near her ankles, but they went unnoticed. Soon enough, the half demon was over. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

After getting out of the alley, there was only a few more feet before the two arrived at the inn. As the boy walked back into the inn, it was as though nothing had really changed. His father was still sitting behind the desk idly while his mother had gone back to rushing about. The smell of dinner was wafting deliciously in the air, one of the few changes that had occurred. Light conversation could be heard from the dining area, most likely other guests that were staying at the inn.
"Mum! D'you know where Ran and Shorn are?!" the boy called out a little louder than it really should have. His eyes followed after the woman, waiting for her answer.
Too bad you will...

Be who you are, and say what you feel... As Mickey waited on Higis' mother to answer the question, she glanced around the inn. No sign of anybody she knew, thankfully. Her arms were folded across her stomach, holding her sides. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"Ah, yes! I'll go get them," the woman responded, sounding rushed though that was nothing knew. She disappeared down a hallway and a minute later, Shorn and Ran emerged from the hall. The two boys looked as though they were really getting to cleaning up.
Shorn had a broom in his hand and his hair was tied back while Ran had a cloth tied on his head to keep from hair falling into his eyes, looking a little dusty.
"What's wrong?" Ran spoke, looking at Higis and Mickey with a small smile.
Too bad you will...

"Sure, we were waiting for you two to come back anyway. Where are we going?" Ran asked, pulling the cloth off of his head and placing it onto a table. Though Shorn did not say anything, the man walked off to put the broom away.
"Mickey said to surprise her... but Basa said it's low tide!" Higis spoke, knowing that Ran would know where the group would be going from that piece of information.
Indeed, the boy knew, his crystal blue eyes showing his realization and a small frown appearing on his lips. "You know you always get hurt when you go there. Are you sure you want to go there?"
"Yup!"
"Alright..."

"Are you really looking forward to it?" Higis asked with a smile, not minding that the half demon was trying to get out of the inn. She didn't seem to mind it last time, but this time she seemed to want to get in and out.
"We're still waiting for Sho- Oh, there he is..." Ran spoke as Shorn came back from the hallway, his hair still tied up. It was definitely different from how he had looked on the beach but it wasn't bad.
Too bad you will...

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "So that means we can leave now, right?" insisted the pink-haired girl. She noted Shorn's changed appearance but didn't give too much thought to it. There was more light on his face now that the hair was out of the way, though. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
