The veteran took the hit surprisngly enough but with a last effort threw his sword into Shadow's arm hitting through his flesh. This seemed to surprise Shadow moderately, as it wasn't a killing blow. Most would have tried to escape, but the veteran had lived a long life, and he knew that his master would have been watching. So heaving his last breath the veteran fell down dead.

Zersilo stepped out of from where he was hiding and applauded. "Well done Herr warrior." Zersilo said smiling his devilish grin. "Such impressive killing, you have passed my test, bravo." he said calmly. Taking his hand as if manipulating puppets, the nine scouts rose up again, this time as zombies. They walked right by shadow, without so much as a move towards him, they then carried their leaders body back.

Zersilo had them move the veteran back into the castle.

"Greetings, I am Lord Von Hagen." Zersilo said calmly. "I would like to offer you a position in my forces, all paid for quite well naturally." Zersilo said calmly, taking out a couple of large gold nuggets. He threw them at shadows feet.

"Now follow me." Zersilo commanded.

Kyo smiled and swooped Rin up into his arms and picked her up and kissed her again."Well...i was thinking of trying to go meet up with Zersilo. we nee dot do some tlaking. if you want to come with me than sure you can come. I cant deny my love anything she wants."he smiled.

walks over to rin, puts his arms aorund her and kisses her. While she had been getting ready, he had gotten his No Daichi out, and spiked his hair into 6 inch Liberty Spikes. "Follow me." he didnt even bother ing to leave the castle beofre beginnign to teleport. As they arrived int he courtyard of Zersilos courtyard, Kyo broke away fromt heir kiss, and smile dat RIn,"Were here."

Zersilo stood behind them waiting a moment before uttering in his calm voice. "And why would Prince Kyo be dropping in for this visit, along with his Princess Rin...?" Zersilo questioned a smirk at his lips. Walking around them as if examining an interesting specimen, he raised an eyebrow. "Rin is blind, how odd, but seriously.... what brings you here?" Zersilo questioned again, this time smirking a little more.

"Usually people say they plan to come, or are invited, so I can prepare." Zersilo said mocking disappointment. A few dead corpses lay on the ground. Zersilo looked at them a touch of disapproval on his lips. "Now now, no sleeping in my courtyard, it has to be nice and clean." as he said this he raised them up and they moved themselves off out of the coutryard.

Raising two bone chairs for Rin and Kyo, and one for himself, Zersilo sat down. "Now, please address the buisness of this visit." Zersilo said calmly. "Oh how rude of me... wine, blood, water?" Zersilo asked as a servant quickly hobbled forward with all three choices, along with glasses.

Zersilo grabbed himself a glass of blood draining it quickly.

Rin opened her mouth to speak to Zersilo, but truthfully she didnt know herself why they were up here. Looking at her husband, she waited for him to answer and hoped her would quickly, for she didnt know how lengthy the vampire's patience was.

Glancing at her surroundings, even though she saught it useless, she was able to see the faint outlines of some things, though that didnt help all that much. However, for her it was better than nothing.

Her golden eyes darted to Zersilo nervously, for she hadnt exactly had the most..."pleasant" ...encounters with him.
