 Yeah, that's right...
"Sure! There's lotsa stuff to do. Just depends on what'cha wanna do," the boy spoke, pulling his arms behind his neck and stretching a bit to one side. There were all sorts of parks, restaurants, and other things that were all around the city. It was one of the perks of being a vacation city.

Anything that would keep her away from potentially being taken away by Claw, Nariko, or anyone else who might be looking for her. Yeah, that's right...
"If it was darker we could have taken you to the graveyard... But then there's always..." the boy spoke, more to himself than to Mickey, "Basa~ What's the water level right now?" The red-head looked over at his friend, expecting that he would know how high the water level would be.
"It's low for now... I wouldn't take her there right now. Especially without Ran and Shorn. Shorn would be good to have as security."

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "Take her where~?" asked Mickey, leaning forward curiously. True, she had asked to be surprised, but she wanted to know now. To be honest, she wondered what was interesting about the graveyard to make Higis want to take her there of all places, but she didn't ask about that yet. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"We'll go now!" the boy spoke, "Let's go!"
Before Higis could go more than 4 paces, Basa grabbed the boy by the back of shirt. "You're not going anywhere near there without Shorn and Ran, go get them," the male spoke.
The boy struggled to get away for a couple of seconds before looking at Basa with a completely fed up look. "Boo~ You're coming! It's going to be alright!" the boy spoke.
"I have to get ready to head out!"
"Then I'll protect Mickey all by myself!"
"You can't even protect yourself, dumbass!"
"O-OI! Who are you calling a dumbass, stupid!"
"Just get Shorn and Ran!"

Be who you are, and say what you feel... What do I need protecting from that means we need to get Ran and Shorn? wondered the girl as she watched the two guys argue. Not that Mickey had any problems with getting the two, except that they ran the risk of her being found on the way. "Let's just go get them," she said to Higis, agreeing with Basa. It would shut the two up, right? ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Yeah, that's right...
"We don't need those two!" Higis insisted but he was already moving back towards the inn. He was being a little obstinate, but that was typical of him and Basa didn't seem to mind it.
"I'll see you around then Higis... Maybe even you as well Mickey. Take care of yourself," the older male spoke to the two, giving a small wave.

"Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys," she said before lowering her hand and turned so that she was walking right behind Higis. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Higis laughed, knowing already what kind of look would be on Basa's face as he turned away from the two to return to helping his father. "Like Basa really cares~ It was something to do!" Higis spoke, "Plus it's fun! If you were like that stuck-up Fai then it would be different..."

At least, until she saw Claw, Nariko---how could she possibly miss them--and Hari at the end of the boardwalk. She'd been right, unfortunately. "... Higis? Yeah, that's right...
"...? Sure? Why?" the boy asked, already dipping sideways into an alleyway. He wasn't completely sure why the girl wouldn't want to go the normal route, and he was curious of the reason, but he wouldn't press her too much on the issue. Though he was just gotten into the alley, he was already climbing over small walls and crates as well as sliding through broken pieces of old buildings.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "Just... someone I'd rather not run into..." She didn't see the point in lying after the huge lies she had already told the guys. "Ouch," she grumbled as she scraped her shin on a piece of brick, probably from one of the buildings. She definitely was not dressed for this, but wouldn't complain. The 'ouch' was more or less reflexive. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"Ah! Are you okay?" the boy asked, stopping almost as soon as he heard the ouch. If Mickey said that she was hurt then perhaps something had bitten her! Higis didn't want his friend to be hurt. "Do you need to have first aid! You're not allowed to die yet! You have a long life ahead of you! Do NOT walk to the light!"
