 Yeah, that's right...
Higis merely smiled in an amused way, giving a small stretch. "Basa, are you going to be leaving town soon?" the boy asked, looking towards the older boy. Basa was picking up the barrels that he had "given" to Higis when the boy talked to him and his look did not immediately go to the boy. Instead, he walked over towards the man with the cart before looking at Higis.
"In a couple of days..." the male spoke, "We're heading down to Bolereas then to Esterspring."
"Ah, you're going to go see your wife?" Higis spoke.
"She's not my wife..." the male spoke, sounding slightly peeved though this only got the shorter boy laugh.
"Yeah yeah, you haven't gone through the traditional rites that her daddy wants, huh~ It must really suck to marry a rich girl."
Hari merely followed Claw and Nariko around, not even in the mood to start arguing between the two children. It seemed that they argued so much that it was not even worth butting into their conversation any more. The main thing he needed to worry about what their next course of action would be.
You're just jealous of the shovel~

"Are we there yet, Nariko?" Claw whined again. It was only good news that he hadn't heard Hari cutting into their conversations; he'd grown quickly tired of the older man. "You're not good at finding your way back to Mick-Mick!"

"So Basa's getting married, huh?" Mickey asked Higis, blinking her green eyes once. Her only reasons for asking were curiosity and conversational material, but she had heard them mention a fiancé before, when the blond had the half demon pinned to the ground. If memory served, Basa had told Higis not to tell her unnecessary information like that.

"It doesn't really matter..." the male replied, looking over towards Mickey though Higis perked up as he turned his head towards the girl.
"Basa says it's not gonna happen any time- woah!" the boy managed to escaped from Basa, who was trying to grab the boy, "soon coz the girl's father agreed to the arranged marriage for several people but the girl's- hey stop! gotta recieve- BASA!" The older male had finally managed to grab the smaller boy, who had been moving about, and pin him to the ground.
"What did I say about talking too much about unnecessary things?" the male spoke, sitting on the boy's back with one foot on Higis' head.
"Ow~ Geroffame~" the younger boy whined. Though Mickey hadn't known it (but was clued onto it), Basa's deeming of "unnecessary" were things that seemed to embarrass him.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... As she watched the two, the half demon couldn't help but giggle. Yes, she had been listening to Higis, and she had found what he'd said to be rather interesting, but she could tell Basa didn't want to talk about it, so she decided not to push the topic further. "Aha, Basa, leave him alone~" ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"She doesn't like being called Mick-Mick,"Nariko quickly corrected."And her scent leads away from the inn agian."she answered and started to lead them."Besides Claw I don't see you doing anything but whineing and comlain. "It's too weak in my blood to smell hers. I'm not some fox-thing like you are." As always, Claw complained back to Nariko. They'd just walked around in a huge circle, didn't they?! Ugg! What a waste of time! "She lets me call her Mick-Mick... Sometimes, anyways. What that girl never hears won't hurt her."

"Hey! You're the one who scratched my hot bod!" Claw argued back, raising a fist. He had to make his strides longer to keep up with the short, quick fox demon. "You're the one that bit me! I bet you have rabies or something like that! How do you think Mick-Mick'll feel then?"

The fox girl was rasied to belive in such things as respect men, but men aren't allowed yo hit girls. "Well, you're not supposed to scratch at people who are more pretty than you!" Claw argued back. He was quickly losing his temper with Nariko; it would be best for both for both of them if they actually made it back to the inn before anything got violent again. "It doesn't matter if I'm not seriously hurt; you've left a nasty mark on my neck! And on my stomach, too! How many people do you honestly know who want to see ugly cuts on another person's stomach? They're gonna want to know why I got it, and I can't go around saying some little fox girl did it! Do you know how much that'd hurt my ego?!"

Nariko sighed and answered back evenly."First off the word is prettier Claw not more pretty you buffon."she told him in a cold but calm tone."Second you could always think of something idiotic but perfect for you like saying Mickey scratched you up and left you with a love bite."she said with a shrug thinking that Claw should be a creative enough perv to think up that."And anyway Claw I may look like a sweet little fox child, but touch me ever agian and next time I'll be forced to rearrgane your organs and maybe I might even scar your face."

"Why the hell would I let anybody scratch me or bite me?" He asked her. The inn had to be close now... right? He was getting so bored with just walking around like this. Claw glanced down to Nariko- she was at least a foot shorter than him. Could a tiny thing like that really do like she said she could?
