~when~the~music~fades~ "That's... really wierd. And she was with the pink-haired one?" Ruarc could have understood a group of travellers with wierdly-dyed hair at the beach. It would have been a little odd, but understandable. This... was intriguing. "Yeah, she was with Pinky" Fae confirmed with a brief nod of her head. "The whole lot of them are insane. They were hanging with that short kid... What's his name again? Maungroq? Something like that. And his friend, Aquitz, thought it would be funny to walk me back here."

Claw had, as he would have done eventually, gotten bored. Why couldn't he have his clothes back? They'd found Nariko! "Can we hurry up?" he grumbled, still clutching tight to the towel. "I'm bored."

"Well, you should." Claw retorted to Nariko, pointing at her with one finger. "Why couldn't somebody fun be here instead of you? Like Akito, or Shorty, or even Fang! Why am I stuck with you and him?" Here, Claw jutted his finger in Hari's direction. "All you two do is yell at me!"

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "Well there's no chance we can get near them if Basa and Higis are with them." Ruarc frowned slightly. It was easy to chat up girls, but guys were harder to persuade. Ruarc would have a harder time trying to convince the two local guys to let him even speak to the tourists, and there would be a definite no if Fae was even within viewing distance. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

"Calm down, we're trying to find Mickey, remember?" Hari spoke in a relaxed manner though he didn't stop Nariko from slapping the angel. He wasn't very fond of the boy and the more the child opened his mouth, the less the man seemed to be liking him.
"Tyrant~ Like the king~" Higis whined with the look of a beaten puppy on his face. Basa's father looked at Higis with small look that was definitely telling him to take back his words. If one had been paying attention to the man, they would have seen the slight color loss from his face.
"Higis, calm down," Basa spoke, scratching the back of his head, "You're lucky there aren't many sentries in this town..."
"Basa's back! Where'd ya take little miss too-good-for-us? Throw her in the ocean?"
"Nothing like that... Just got her back to her boyfriend."

Hari merely followed after Nariko with a relaxed look on his face despite being a bit annoyed within.
"Fae? No way~ But there's this guy that can actually deal with her!" Higis smiled, laughing a little, "Everyone calls him her boy friend."

"Just woo them like you do to all of your little girlfriends... Wait, you have none. Never mind." Fae rolled her aqua-blue eyes again, smiling slightly at her own joke. "That short one, Maungroq, I bet you could get him talking just by throwing a few insults at him. He's the youngest, right? That means he'll be the easiest to intimidate. Just... squeeze the words out of him. Like one giant- or in his case, tiny- zit."
Claw rubbed his cheek, sourly glaring down at Nariko. She'd been much shorter than him, so her slap didn't hurt much physically... But it did hurt his ego, even though only that Hari guy was the only other one who seemed to be paying attention. "Stop hurting me!" he complained. "And at least I don't need swimming lessons!"

Yeah, that's right...
[I wasn't taught how to swim... I just kinda knew... and my friend learned to swim because her father threw her into the deep end and sat at the edge to watch her almost drown]
