Kyo took her hand and squeezed gently back,"Rin its alright...its gonna make u better."he looked mroe worried than before. Had Zersilo decided to take his revenge by attacking Rin? Alls kyo could do was wait and see how she reacted.

Her delicate finger tips reached up to his face and softly touched his lips and then the side of his face. "K...Kyo..." Rin's voice sounded sorrowful and like she was going to cry. "Kyo...I...I cant see..." At saying this her facial expression turned to one of desperation as she laced her fingers with her husbands, refusing to let go.

She rolled onto her side as he guided her hands and her now unseeing golden eyes tried to tell where his face would be, but she couldnt. How could she be blind? How could something that was supposed to be so simple, turn her like this? Her golden eyes started building with tears as stray ones ran down her face, and she only closed her eyes, having no reason now to have them open.

Akuma took in the Architects words. “They move, see, and think alike.” It reminded him of the past, when his older brother gave him an important gift: his scythe. The hours of diligent training with his brother were still fresh in his mind. This would be like learning how to wield his first weapon again. He would have to learn to use this machine as an extension of himself. He looked at the Architect as he bowed. “I’m ready to try.”

Putting her hands out, she saught out Kyo sitting on the bed and rested her head in his lap. Opening her gold eyes, they were the same color, but it appeared there was a fil over them which prevented her from seeing. "But...but what if I am permanently bli...." She couldnt bring herself to say blind because she didnt want to admit that she was.

Trying to prove to herself that she wasnt, she sat up and touched her barefeet to the floor, still dressed in the autumn colored kimono. Making herself stand, she seemed shaky at first, but took a few steps forward slowly, though she teetered. She managed to walk across the room on her own to the window, before she collapsed onto the ground tiredly.

She didnt know if he was right or not, sometimes the doctors were wrong. Sighing softly, Rin used her hands to find Kyo and pressed her body up to his and snuggled into his arms. After doing that, she tucked her head beneath his chin and closed her now blind eyes. Not too much longer from then, she fell asleep in her husband's arms.

"Alright, let’s bring this thing out for a test drive!" He walked behind his desk, where he pushed a button beneath the table. One of the cabinets opened, revealing a bright entryway. "Come." He stepped through the cabinet and walked into the light that shined beyond those doors. About ten steps brought him to a blindingly white tunnel. He navigated the many hallways and passages while humming a song to himself. They reached a huge metallic door. "The Ico aren’t the only ones who hold deep secrets." he said, as he pushed the door open.

A giant head peered at Akuma from the surface of the lake. The head displayed a grotesque face, nearly eyelid-less and with a crooked nose. The rest of the body was submerged underneath some red liquid. All the technicians set their gaze upon the Architect and the pilot. "Guys, this is Akuma, our new pilot." They eyed him with distrust, judging him by the fact that he was a demon. "Are you sure?" one asked. "He might not be able to synchronize." The Architect replied, "Sure he can, if he tries hard enough. I doubt that will give him any trouble. Right?" He playfully nudged Akuma in the ribs.

“Well, let’s get started. Put the pilot in.” He heard them grumble behind his back, but that didn’t matter. They would owe Akuma soon enough. He motioned towards a staircase that led to the apex of the head. The technicians opened a hatch at the top and awaited Akuma. A loud voice filled the room. “Draining sustenance.” The liquid level dropped sharply. “Disengaging safety locks.” Blocks of metal released its grip on Salvatio and retreated into the walls. By this time, the liquid had already been drained, exposing the pit, thirty stories deep. “Well hurry on, before they remove the safety bridge.” he said. The Architect calmly walked off the platform and onto another one, which slowly raised itself to the ceiling. The technicians looked at Akuma. “Quickly! We need to get to the observation platform!”
