islanders_CO39 Her eyes were bloodshot from crying for him so much and her bottom lip quivered as her golden eyes welled up with tears. "I'm so sorry Kyo...I just wanted to go up for a few minutes...and its all my fault, I shouldnt have ever left..." She started crying heavily as she choked up lowering her head from his view. Never had she felt so ashamed, this was the worst ever. "His guards tried to rape me when they got me unconscious, he nearly killed me, and then he turned me into a vampire. God, Kyo I'm such a fool..." Kyo climbed beside RIn and picke dher up and put he rin his lap,"Rin...it isnt your fault...its alright though no...I love you so much..."he leaned downa nd kissed her softly,"They wont hurt you now..."

Zersilo prepared himself for the ceremony. Granted all this wasn't really necessary, but it had been awhile since Zersilo had been able to wear formal wear. His tailours quickly worked to make everything look perfect. His hair was combed perfectly straight, and everything was shiny and polished. It had been awhile, but the material had been fixed so it looked new. He wore a cape and his gloves and recently shined boots. His family crest which had been fadded over the years was on his right side. His buttons and cufflinks were all made of gold. It had a very stiff feel over all, but it would do. It certainly wasn't the usual wear, but every now and then it would help. His dagger was placed in it's ornamental case and he used his skull staff as a large crane, as a sheperd would. He was now all ready. The ceremony would be taking place in the courtyard, where Undead soldieres and alive soldiers stood completely clean and awaiting there master.
Walking out of his room, Zersilo made his way through the halls, his boots making a loud clomp as he headed down into the courtyard. He awaited Kyo to arrive at a raised plateau in the courtyard. There was about enough room for twenty people on this plateau and on each side Zersilo had a guard, wearing formal wear. They're swords were sheathed at their sides, and all looked very good. Truth be told, this really wasn't necessary, but if you couldn't have a good ceremony now and then, what was the use of formal uniforms? Most of his troops had occupied a few of the nearby towns, but he had a protectorate force here, along with Banji's troops.
Zersilo awaited Kyo and Rin to come into the courtyard, their way would be directed by skeletons.

Kyo kissed Rin softly again and sat ther cradling her for several seconds, before getting up and putting on his finest Hakama and Gii, made of Red silk,"I have to go to the upper world RIn...you stay and rest. Ill be back soon."he walked over to her and leaned over her and kissed her softly,"Sleep, and rest." he smiled opn her, before saying as he left and stood in the door,'I love you Rin." he clsed the door softly behind him, and walked down the hall. And outside. He teleported into the keep and saw Zersilo waiting for him. He bowed formally,"I am ready for the ceremony now."

Zersilo bowed in return. Then a hush fell over the crowd. As Zersilo began to speak.
" I Zersilo Von Hagen, do humbly agree to ally with the honourable Prince of the Underworld Kyo, under the conditions previously agreed." Zersilo said pausing before continiouing. "Today is a momumental day in at long last taking the world, and making it a unified whole. With this Alliance, our victory is assured, as the last remaining peg in each of our efforts has been removed, and now together we shall be strong." Zersilo said finishing his speech quickly. It had an affect on the alive troops, the undead troops of course all this mattered little, as battle was all they remained on this earth for.
"As per the terms we have agreed upon..." Zersilo said taking out a blood red gem. It was the size of an apple, and in it was Zersilo's and Banji's blood.
"Have Rin drink this, then utter the words on this scroll, she will revert to her normal state, and she will be stronger of mind, body, and soul." Zersilo explained to Kyo. Taking out his dagger he handed it to Kyo. "I give you the honour of beginning our blood pact." Zersilo said soberly.

Markus_Sengir Watching Banji stand before an army that could easily overwhelm him with sheer numbers was impressive, but Markus took a keen interest in this Deus X, that the architect had talked about. “I've only just arrived on this world and something is already trying to destroy it. This disturbs me, I’ve heard of these ‘world devourers’ before.” Markus drew a second circle next to the first, “Show me Deus X” ((Holy luminescence, could I get a description of Deus X?)) ((I wonder how he found out that it was the Architect who said it. Most soldiers consider Deus X as a myth, although some claim to have seen it face-to-face in the Tunnel of Truth. Since no one has ever seen it, except for the inmates, I'll only give you a brief history/description. Deus ex machina was actually created from a dead corpse the Leader found when he decided were to build his fortress. It, back then, was a huge pile of gigantic bones and sharp teeth. It could have resembled a gargantuan behemoth with giant claws and hind legs, that allowed it to stand upright. When the prison was constructed, they placed the corpse into a chamber. During this time, the Leader began the capture of magi and blacksmiths, hoping to revive this ancient beast. The blacksmiths merely added metal to the skeleton while the magi enchanted it. A necromancer was recruited, and he woke the thing that threatened the safety of the world. He grew crazy, shocked at his deed, and tried to kill it. Of course, the beast merely assilimated him. Theoretically, Deus X is composed of half magic and half machine, although at times it may seem as if it's all machine or all magic. I leave this to your imagination...and EliotJamesRookwood (oooh, so evil!) should rest his mind on this as well. I have no definite shape in my mind and it is open to any kind of interpretation.))

He than handed the knife back to Zersilo," I thank you for this chanc eot make the netherworld strong again."

"Not quite done yet." Zersilo said calmly. He cut one of his wrists as well, and held it to Kyo's allowing the blood to mix for a minute and allowing it to go on the floor. Now the blood pact was truly complete.
"Now the alliance is complete, Prince Kyo" Zersilo said smiling devilishly. This was met by roars of approval while the undead naturally just stood there, without any emotion at all. Well, the general feeling was good in about the castle. Of course it was mainly due to the prospect of not having to fight the Netherworld's armies, but that mattered little to Zersilo. Bowing to Kyo half-way, Zersilo remained until Kyo also bowed before getting up.
"Relax a little, comrade, we have much work ahead of us." Zersilo said placing his hand on his family crest, and inclining his head, before heading back to his castle. The start of this unholy alliance had begun, and yet the mood was light amoung the living. They had some fireworks and set them off, and the armies which say them began to celebrate and forget about morality. The undead as always went back to there work guarding and preparing themselves for orders.

holyluminescence The Architect laughed out loud upon seeing Akuma, outside, recovering from a long sprint to his castle. “He should have listened to me. He’s stubborn...that’s a problem. I don’t want him to do anything rash during battle. Sati, bring him here.” Sati blinked. “What if he resists my telekinesis?” The Architect sighed. “Forget it. I’ll bring him here in person.” He walked to his chair and sat down. “You’re right, he would resist any attempt to float. I have no idea what he has against flying.” He chuckled to himself before he pressed a button underneath his desk. The chair sunk into the floor, dragging the Architect with him. Sati ran to the hole and peered down. “Just wait there!” He barely discerned it from the clanks of gears and metal banging against each other. Sati sighed. “I wonder how long he’s going to take. I honestly think Akuma is a bad pilot. I have no idea what the Architect sees in him. But I’ve seen his genius at work. He saved me from those flying bombs...I wonder what he’ll do this time. He’s such an enigmatical person.” He scratched his head. It sometimes hurt to think. He surveyed the many blueprints on his desk. He blinked and looked closer. Some writing caught his eye. On the corner of one paper were the words, “Size not to scale. Think big.” Exhaling, he closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. “He’s weird.” Akuma waited outside the door until he heard clanging metal. He perked up his ears and waited. “The Architect must be opening the door,” thought Akuma. ((Sorry for the long wait! sweatdrop ))

Sure enough, the door opened. The Architect faced Akuma, sitting in a chair. "Man, I love this place!" he remarked. "I have a billion different ways to reach the front doors! I guess I am a little paranoid..." He mumbled to himself before standing up. The chair ascended upwards, pulled by chains and gears. "Follow me," he said. Turning around, he proceeded to make his way through the twists and turns of the castle, a perpetual maze that readjusted itself every five minutes.

Akuma followed the Architect ever wary not to get left behind. Who knows where you would end up. It was something Akuma decided that he did not want to think about. Their footsteps echoed as they walk down the shadowy corridors.

Kyo smiled back devilishly at Zersilo, and called after him,"Bring a contingent of several thousand soldiers to the castle tommorrow for basic training. I have certian level of expectations for an army...and this force for the most part does not meet them. When We are done with them, they will be unstoppable." he turned and teleported back tot he netherworld. He ran back into his room and knelt at Rins side,"Rin drink this..."he helped pour the liquid down her throat, and read out the parchement Zersilo gave him,"How do you feel now?" he said when this was complete.

As he poured the liquid down her throat and then read the words, her body seemed to freeze, her golden eyes going blank. She stayed that way for more than 5 minutes, before her body gave a jolt and her eyes brightened again leaving her there breathing heavily. Reaching for Kyo's hand blindly, she closed her eyes and tried to catch her breath.

After passing through many doors, entering codes, and waiting for a rotating turret they finally reached the Architect’s study, his central base. “So Akuma, you are here to pilot Salvatio. You can call it ‘Salvation’ if you want to, it’s just a fancy word I use just to look smarter.” He chuckled at himself. “You’re probably wondering what the heck it is anyways, so I might as well tell you. It’s a giant machine that you will be piloting to face the Deus X threat. I have no projectiles ready at the moment, save those flying bombs, so your primary attack may be physical force. Don’t worry about it breaking: I used the toughest metals I could possibly find and buy.” He paused, observing Akuma quietly. “You’ll get used to Salvation and it’ll get used to you. Yes,” he continued, “Salvation is itself alive. However, it can’t speak to you.”
He looked out the window. Sati’s eyes pierced Akuma’s skin. “There is a required synchronization one must undergo in order to pilot.” He blinked. “It is where the pilot becomes one with the machine. They move, see, and think alike. It is quite an experience that I have yet to see. I honor you with the first opportunity.” He bowed low.
