Yuki_Yubari "Ouch!" Kouji wailed as he was tackled by a merchant. "Ah crap!" He spotted the guards. "How am I supposed to get outta this huh? Yeah, not like you're a celestial warrior Kouji!" He tried to escape. 
ninja ninja ninja ::The Merchants friend wrestled with Kouji while the first merchant got closer and closer, trying to keep up with the bandit. The gaurds who had caught ear of the commotion gathered quickly, but instead of the expected result, they came in just as Kouji was having one of his famous conversatins with self. they came in right at "Yeah...not Like you're a Celestial Warrior Kouji" which they interpereted as sarcasm. Instead of trying to capture the bandit, they instead turned their focus on the tackling merchant, prying him from Kouji. The lead guard adressed him:: "Did...did you just say...Celestial Warrior?" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Korin-Chan "That girl could have been hurt!" Subaru retorted, her eyes narrowing briefly before she tok a step back - she soon found her back against the wall and simply released a sigh, "Believe it or not I would do the same for your seishi if I noticed her in a similar predicament," she continued and released a somewhat heavy sigh, "And yes, I know Sairou is safe...one of the seishi ensured as much but it isn't my fault that I got lost and have to walk around Kutou's borders to get home!"
She took a few breaths and simply glared towards her robes where the peculiar wraith remained hidden. It was the wraiths fault for getting her into this mess so why should she protect her? Then again, if it hadn't been for Miaka she wouldn't have reentered the forbidden city in the first place it just was not her week.
"And some use to you alive?" She narrowed her eyes before shaking her head and giving another sigh, her expression relaxing as she almost took on a persona of defeat, "I fail to see how." She finished darkly and reached down with her left hand to tug her robe up - beneath it, the wraith remained huddled with wide eyes, it knew of what was about to occur.
"Out." She ordered coolly, "It's your fault I'm in this mess...you could have just left me in the caccoon."
"And then you would have died!" The tiny child shrieked in retaliation.
"And I'll die anyway in this God-forsaken place!" Subaru roared in return, "This is enemy territory you sorry excuse for a wraith, did you really expect I would be invited to dinner and handed a boquet of flowers while I was serenaded by welcoming songs?!"
At that, the ghost girl faltered and Subaru raised her eyes heavenwards.
"I guess dying young grants that type of naivity on occasions," She mumbled and turned her back to Nakago, keeping her gaze trained upon the activities outside.  "Interesting...that you would put the pain of one girl, at higher priorty than the pain that can be caused to many with enemies running rampant through the land."
*He stepped another step closer as she found herself against the wall...not breaking a distance that would be yet threatening. He paused and watched as Subaru and the small creature "bickered." Subaru's words were enough to confirm the suspicions that had been raised by the research, and it shouldn't take to much to cast the spell to banish her...but he would wait until an opportune moment.*
*When she turned her back, he began to move again, closing the proximity between them, he ended within arms reach of her*
"So sure of your fate so soon..."
*He took one more small step closing the proximity even more.*
"Oh come now...I thought you brighter than that..."
*His other hand, the one hidden by his body from the veiw of Kieko, began the motions for casting a ward to blockade her from affecting him, in case this should get a rise out of her, his eyes narrowed*
"An enemy Seishi, working for our cause...what better way to accomplish what needs be done."

((I'm having problems in what I should be doing with Miaka next. With Nuriko absent at the moment, we can't meet Tasuki yet which is now on my top 3 things to do at the moment sweatdrop so...thats why I have been MIA on posting...))

"I am not working for you Nakago," Subaru dismissed calmmly, allowing her gaze to trail round slightly until she could see him out of the corner of her eye through the image projected in the mirror, "I would never sink so low as to cause harm and as far as I am concerned I haven't caused any harm to anyone - your priestess is safe - or at least she is until you finish manipulating her!"
"All I want is to show Miaka-san and Nuriko-san the way to Sairou so that they might find the rest of their seishi; that way I can return home too and check up on my fellow seishi." She pointed out, releasing a sigh as she arched her back in an attempt to distance herself in some form from the Seiryuu warrior.
"It is hardly my fault she assumed that her best friend would be lurking in Kutou and went against both my word and Nuriko's in an attempt to find her - a stir was obviously going to occur in regards to someone so spontaneous." She took a deep breath and lifted a hand to drift the fingertips through her hair before glancing towards Keiko.
The wraith remained subdued and had her gaze trained upon Nakago with what appeared to be absolute loathing upon her face. She was well aware of the spell he was performing but considering her past moves, she was by no means ready to attempt something else - even the very daughter of her summoner was annoyed with her; although granted, it was her own fault.
"Please allow me to leave Nakago or simply put me out of my misery, I do not want to become another puppet on a string - that is what your priestess appears to be for." Subaru finished and returned her attention to the outside world.

Yue Kurine Nuriko scowled at the thought of seeking help at the palace. It wasnt exactly the most friendly place as proven just a short while ago. Still, Miaka needed help that was for sure. Perhaps there was a docter still left in town that they could find. If Mitskakue were here it wouldnt have been a problem, but they appeared to have lost him back in Konan. He glanced down as she continiously called his name. All he could do was nod slightly acknowledging the fact he was there.
"Ill find a doctor somewhere. Promise."((And so with this post, Nuriko must poof again for a bit. Tis Sakura Con time again. I shall see everyone monday! ^^ )) //Nuriko is here...

Yuki_Yubari Kouji was confused, very confused in fact and wondered whether to intervene. This was an interesting situation, he had an opportunity to run it seemed but then again there were a lot of guards and they were no doubt quite fast. "Of course they're fast Kouji," he muttered, "they caught you didn't they?"
ninja ninja ninja *The guards discussed a bit between themselves, not taking their eyess of fhim, the one still holding the shopkeepers friend, another stopped the shopkeeper short of reaching Kouji.* "Did he just say celestial warrior?" "I think he did..." "The shogun will want to hear about this..." "Should we take him to the palace?" "Of course dummies! It was not just some mild conception of the situation...she was sure of it...and that assuredness could pose a problem. This moved things forward in Nakago's mind, and it was time.*
*A small chuckle escaped as he turned and faced the loathing look of Keiko. For a breif second, his own mind wandered back to when he was that age...only a split second though, and then it was gone, barraccaded by what would transpire now, and put aside by other thoughts.*
"It appears you have outlived your usefullness...and now you would be more of a pain that I can allow..."
*He pulled the scroll back oout and read a breif incantation, followed by focusing his Chi into a spell*
*Upon completing this, he turned back to Subaru...the spell was supposed to take some time after casting to completely finish, bus she should not be able to cause trouble until it would be too late*
So you choose death over helping me...And I thought you would do the same for My preistess if she were int he same situation....and if everything is as you say it is...then does she not need you help?
*He smirked for the first time this meeting, and began to close the gap between them again.*
*He pulled a small vial out of a hidden spot under his tunic and held it in one hand, while the other he touched to her shoulder, not overly forcefully, but enough to turn her around to face him*

ninja ninja ninja ::The guards led the way throughthe city, the crowds getting out of their way. From experience they stayed out of the armies way no matter what, if they could. The palace got closer and closer, and finally they were at the front gate:: "We have come across a celestial warrior and wish to take him before the Shogun! Open the gates!" ::The gates were opened as quickly as possible and more guards met them as the entered. Ar easonably high ranking guard joined the procession, sending most of the underlings off, turning it into a small band to take Kouji from there::

"I can only help those that desire it and according to your own words, your priestess cares not for the aid of a Byakko. In fact, I have the notion that she is disgusted by our presence and would need no help from us - afterall, she has you," She pointed out calmly.
Her expression did not flicker from it's cold, granite like expression even as Keiko released a shocked squeak, nor did the seishi react as she was swung round. It was a contained reaction on behalf of the wraith as she fought to gain an understanding of how Nakago knew how to deal with her in any sense of the way.
"However if your priestess needed our aid and trusted us then I would grant it." She added steadily, paying no attention to the vial now resting within his grasp - she knew not what it was but she had no doubt that she would find out soon.
"Now let me go home."

As the gates opened Kouji suddenly had a sinking feeling. 'Clestial warrior eh?' "What have you done now Kouji," he muttered (to himself of course). He was curious though, very curious, it was certainly an experience. "I wonder what the Shogun looks like," he mused.

The continued towards the cernter of the palace and the head guard stopped the company for a moment and got a report from one of the other guards on patrol. *Nakago took the squeak emitted from behind him to be that he had done most if not all of the incantation and ward correct. It was his fisrt time dealing with such a thing...but it had been to his advantage to send for information from the learned scholars before hand.*
*He leaned in very close to her, not breaking eye contact at this point*
"No."
*His hand continued to rest on her shoulder, and the other continued to hold the vial at his side*
"You made it quite clear that you would rather die than help me...and I'll not have you leaving again, not after all the trouble you have caused...and so that leaves us with a single course of action..."
*Now he rasied his other hand and forced it into hers, pushing the vial into her grasp from his.*
"We wouldn't want to damage your beautiful body *His hand that was on her shoulder slid down her arm lightly*...so this should do the trick...painless...you will simply fall asleep and never wake up..."
*There was no indication that he was lying..conveying that the vial contained a poison for her to imbue, the truth was, this serum was no poison. It was a concoction that would cause the victim to fall into a heavy sleep, and then begin the real work. To control ones mind without destroying the escence of the victim is one of the most difficult things to do..and so this potion, if successful would not last long, and more "treatments" would have to be administered in order to maintain its effect. But that was a risk he sould take. She had already interacted and befriended the Suzaku thus far...so if he could use her t get to them, it would be of great value. He didn't know if she would take the potion or not...but he would put her in a position to make her want to if he could.*
"Though the world will surely feel a loss..."
*He brought his hand up from hers, after depositing the vial, and brought it to her chin*
"...And so on behalf of the rest of the world..."
*He leaned in quickly to steal a kiss, a veritable "Goodbye" kiss for one who was "about to die".*

Nakago I think a Yukata is one of the things I would like to have...It's been so long since I looked at one..I have forgotten... sweatdrop I think so...why? I doubt I could afford one...And I don't have anything (Anymore) really to trade...

Korin-Chan At first, she was surprised - needless to say he seemed to have planned this all along and considering her previous encounters she was not about to step into anything she would regret. Rather, as her eyes widened she took a sharp intake of breath and quickly drew away.

He slowly pulled back as she quickly drew away, either way, she had not been expecting that. He didn't react outwardly to her disposal of the potion, but it was an inconveinience none-the-less.*
"Killing ones self for the sake of others is not a cowardly deed. But if it must be that way...it can be arranged."
*He turned his back to her, and faced where Kieko had been, to see the effects of the ward the sholars had dug up in the archives, and at the same time, projected his life force at Subaru to knock her agaist the side wall a few feet off the ground and hold here there*

It was just not her day. Gritting her teeth, the seishi allowed herself to be 'bound' to the wall by the unseen force and continued to observe Nakago with a steady gaze - she had nothing to say that was of suitable use at present and nor did she think it was the appropriate time to say anything however there was one thing he had forgotten and that was the window.
Subaru made no other movements, made no indication that she had discovered any fault in his little plan (for she could break his hold with significant force of her own...she just had to wait for the right time) and instead, waited.
Keiko however had begun to cower from Nakago - her 'solid' shape had began to fade and as it did so the wispy tendrils of the wraith became more and more visible; whatever ward he had conjured was slowly beginning to devour and dispose of the wraith but it was odd that she wasn't fighting back...unless she was waiting for something of course?
