As the shards approached her wings vanished and she dropped from the sky like a rock. When she was under the field of shards they appeared again and she shot towards Ace with a shard of his own diamond in her hand.

"Now that we are warmed up lets get this fire burning." Ace burst into his golden white flames and let out a roar that shook the ground under him as the flames grew larger and a column of the flames flew forth towards the girl spinning around her. Faster and faster they spun slowly making a vacuum affect.

She automatically put up the shield again and this time it was stronger. The flames sucked her in and enveloped her.

His shadow in the flames had morphed and changed to his dragon form. He released another roar that seemed to just feed and strengthen the spiraling flames. His shadow's blade came out almost the size of him.

She stood in her shield, eyes darting around and back to the shadow of Ace. His weakness... What was his weakness??

The flames shot up towards Rikoi in the form of a dragon as it spun around her roaring loudly. "Burn." The ring of flames burst columns towards Rikoi in the center of it.

If she got burned, she could heal herself later she mused. So she let her shield mold over her body to reduce the output energy of it and rushed to the dragon. From her pouch she grabbed a small bottle that she knew just by the feel. Before the dragon and her met she smashed the bottle with her hands forcefully. It exploded with all of the fire and heat that surrounded it.

The flames erupted forward and dissipated without a body. Diamond shards flew from the flames. Ace had created a shell of himself to attack her as a whole was left where the smolders on the ground laid. He had burrowed to let his attack have more of an affect. There were no traces of where he was though. Nothing but the hole in the ashes remained.

Rikoi was maybe around a hundred feet up in the air, watching down below for signs of Ace. She was soot streaked and there were places where she did end up getting burned. She shield had actually held though. At least for the most of the explosion. But it had used up too much of her energy. She couldn't take that risk again.

Seven diamond obelisks burst from the ground in a circle below Rikoi. A diamond slab in rose in the middle. Ace's voice emanated out, "You seem winded there Rikoi." The Ace's diamonds were floating around in the air around Rikoi slightly shimmering in the blazing sun light. "Are you ready for this?" A pillar of flames burst from the ground outside the circle obelisks. Ace flew up in the flames roaring loudly as he matched her in hight. His dragon wings flapped hard sending a spray of flames each time. The flames themselves were letting off immense amounts of heat.

She slipped her hand into her pocket, grabbed a small thing that looked like a rock, and swallowed it. The pain from her burns ceased as her body's temperature dropped. She would have been freezing except that Ace's fire was so hot. Now she was definitely ready. But still it bugged her. What was his weakness?

Ace's hand reached out and a large dragon claw reached out raking down towards Rikoi. The heat alone was enough to melt flesh the flames themselves were pearl white. Ace released another loud roar as his other hand did the same thing producing another dragon claw.

Rikoi threw one of the ice charms at the nearest dragon claw and it froze, giving her time to fly higher above the flames. Her eyes darted around, looking at what Ace was doing now. He just thought of everything, didn't he? She looked up at the sky and noticed it was a clear day. Was that a factor at all?

A dragon head reached out with its jaws wide seeming to want to devour the sky itself. It came fore Rikoi as another dragon arm grew and reached for her with the first dragon hand. Wings of flames grew out as well. Ace was making a large flame version of himself.

Her body trembled, not from fear or the heat (or for that matter the freezing temperature of her own body either), but because of something sirring inside of her. She didn't notice it, too distracted by Ace and passing it as a wind stirring her. She thought hurriedly about her options as he grew larger and closer.
