Well I see mine changing as a positive thing. It means I can make up holidays and declair whatever I damn well feel like to be against my religon. The only real purpose of religion is as an excuse.

lol don't feel like getting into a religious discussion, actually. i've got into too many arguments with my friends over politics lately. i'm the ONLY republican out of all my friends and only one othe kid voted for bush (i think only three of us voted, total, everyone was sure their vote wouldn't count in utah) and so i've been recieving much harrassment, lol. it's kinda funny but i'm kinda getting sick of it.

Well, I was being slightly facecious. But really, your friends should have voted! Gore won NM last year by a mere 351 votes! Every vote counts. Grumble, anyhow, I've been arging fiercly with some friends of mine on a nother forum. I'm winning.

yeah, i ESPECIALLY don't like tlaking politics on gaia...retards...and i kept telling them - if all of you guys got together and voted, it WOULD make a difference. i can't even imagine how many kids like them there are in utah that believe their vote doesn't count. if all those poeple DID vote i bet kerry could have won in this state. people over estimate the fact that all mormons are republicans and voted for bush. we're not, and i'm sure a lot of us didn't.

Yeah, well, the vote did what it did. Although I have to wonder, as the Daily Mirror put it, "How could 59,054,082 people be so dumb?" And how many of those actualy voted themselves... and what about voter suppression. All important issues that I see no reason to discuss here.

Well, yeah, it is a means for power. But justification is good too. Which works just as well for war as it does for not doing your chores. "I can't take out the trash, god forbids it"
