"I'm happy when I work, recycled tuna can. What's wrong with a little song as long as it's not during a bad time." Kaliska huffed. She grinned, "And you know...if Cin really wants those songs...I saw how to program them in."

"Its nice to meet you Pam, I'll go make us some tea, and we can do the girly thing while we settle you in." Trivii smiled. glancing over her shoulder as she started back to her residence, "Oh and your welcome."

Ping was gloating, relishing his victory over the much stronger Pong. He had finally gotten the better of the tiger boy, thanks to... her. He scowled, digging his heels into the small dragon he was riding and speeding up. She would be waiting for him.

So? The voice was in his head, running down his spine like a trail of sweet water. It made him shiver in a mix of shock and pleasure as she leaned down, lifting him. She was beautiful, with a body that made him wish he wasn't only a few inches tall. And she loved him. Adored him for his cunning and mischiveous ways. She appreciated his greatness as none before had.

And most importantly? She saw his potential, the potential that he had always known was there. That Pong had laughed about whenever he tried to speak of it. Ha. Look whose laughing know you jerk! He thought, a little smirk playing on his lips as gentle fingers ran down his spine.

"I beat him."

I knew you would, my darling boy. But tell me, what happened afterwards? Where did he go?

"Towards the camp. He was bleeding, burnt. I hope they kill him. Better yet, I hope he dies of starvation right under their noses." He went on, basking in her approval. "He'll never bother us again, my queen. Never!"

Of course he won't. But most importantly he won't bother you, my sweet child. And now that you've overcome that fear there is something I need for you to do.

I need you to collect some... information.

Alright girls, we are ready. Let's start at the south side of camp since we are closest to that side anyways. *gets up to get ready for the perimeter check and starts off toward the south side of camp*

Tuna can? What is that? I have a feeling you are poking fun at me and I won't have it! *stops talking and shuts himself down*

*laughs* I should have you teach me all of the songs, I bet that would really annoy him. *looks over the list* This isn't so bad, I think I have some of this compound in with the things I brought back from my ship with me and the stone he suggested is local. *looks to the others* This will be done in no time. *continues to dig, Cinder and Gee have cleared out a large area of where the foundation will go already.* I think the hoverbike will be more then big enough to pull the amount of rocks we need back with us. *looks at the other two* I can take one or both of you to get them when you are ready. Maybe once we are done with the school I can teach you how to fly it. *grins*

Aricin shook his head and looked up at the sky, "Oh I'm sure she's gonna get in loads of trouble and never tell you about any of it. Isn't that the way of kids?" Standing he offered Kata a hand up, "Do you wanna see if we can offer our services some else? The perimeter and kitchens need to be finished as soon as possible."

Merci` watched the masks start to move, and quickly walked past them. She didn't have any trouble doing it, after all she was still older then they were. She put her hands into the waistband of the leather skirt she had on her body, her legs were a little scratched up from all the forest walking she had done that morning. Eyeing the treeline she took note on how much would have to be cut in order to have a clear view around the homestead. She looked up as well, checking to see how many of the branches would have to be cleared out so they didn't have any large overhanging branches.

Fauve walked along quietly with Merci, trying to seem aloof. The truth was she didn't know what to say or do with the other masks. Her eyes travelled over to Kasai and then back out to the woods, her mind moving back to the meeting she'd had with the strange older mask. Her eyes squinted a little bit, wondering if Lyra ever had the kind of guardian troubles that she herself was experiencing right now. She looked back at Kasai and tugged on her skirt a little bit making sure that even though it was filthy, it was hanging correctly. This would be over soon and she would be able to take a bath, she couldn't shake the feeling that the others were judging her poorly.

Galilee followed Kasai, but muttered to Zahar. I think you'd look pretty in any light...

He sped up to walk beside Kasai, as if nothing had been said.

"I'll program then when we rest for the night." She grinned. Then looked at what needed to be done next. "We could maybe use some parts from that crashed ship as well. Some of it was...well...bad...but I think we could strip the hull off and beat it out for walls or a roof for the school...and use some of it's parts. Some of it looked like it might still work, even it it was over grown with a big hole in it."

Galilee was idly playing with a cube puzzle as they walked. He fidgited with it, but his eyes focused on things around them. He glanced and saw the snake, but said nothing as it was not attacking. He'd rather ply defence than risk getting someone hurt in offence. Best to let the opponent attack and find their weakness.....where this information had come from, he didn't know. He nudged Kasai, and kept his voice to the fire mask only. There's a snake in a tree there....don't alert the girls, it's not attacking us. We should leave it be for the moment. If it attacks, then we defend ourselves and the girls.
