Dre looked at the boss as he began to spit out dirt and he couldn't help but smile a little. "Now I suggest you just let me go." He said looked down at the box then looked back up to the boss. As he looked up the boss threw one of his two knives at him. Dre leaned to the side quickly, but still wasn't able to completely dodge the knife cuts into his shoulder through his tunic, the speed of the knife also causing him to fall over. Dre hit the floor on his back, and rolled backwards using the momentum to roll to his feet. "Darn it.." He said as he looked at his shoulder as the wound started to bleed. He looked back up to the Boss. "This was my favorite tunic." He said.
Dre didn't bother to look back at Barnaby. "His name is boss? Isn't that a little strange." Dre began to step to the side slowly watching 'boss'. "Call her the Misses because I plan on asking her to marry me." He said, but as it came out of his mouth he realized how weird it sounded. "He, buddy would I lie to you?"

Barnaby takes a moment to think about it. "Uhh.... maybe?" he answers, this directed at both the boy's questions. Now that he thought about it 'boss' was a pretty strange name. At the very least, it sure wasn't a creative one.
Alright, so boss's name isn't actually Boss, but that didn't matter. What mattered was that he had finally hit that kid. A giddy, and admittedly creepy, smile spread's across boss's face at the sight of the blood. He wasn't especially bloodthirsty, but this kid was really getting on his nerves. "Ain't that sweet?" he calls, getting to his feet. He held his remaining knife loosely in his right hand. "Too bad, though. C'mere, kid, I promise to make this quick..."

Something in Dre's eyes seem to change, he didn't want to use any of his weapons, but it was starting to look as if he was going to be pushed until he did. "Barnaby, you seem like a nice guy who's just gotten tied up with an imbecile. I want you to leave, because if you stay I can't guarantee your safety." He said his eyes still focused on 'boss'.
"As for you, you coward." He said to the boss, "I would choose your next move wisely." Dre reached his free hand into a pouch behind him and pulled out a Kusari Gama. He held onto the hilt of the sickle, keeping the chain wrapped up in a circle pattern around his wrist. Dre snarled a little as his fangs became a more fox like as his stare sharpened. He watched as the boss held his knife loosely, Dre quickly concluded that he was planning on throwing his last knife then would make an attempt to get his other knife so he could defend himself.

Looking back and forth between boss and the boy they had tried to mug, it takes the bigger man only a few moments to decide. "Uhh... okay." he says, and with that turns tail and takes off at a run.
Boss glares at the boy now, full on hatred covering his features. This kid was really getting on his nerves, and he almost shreiks as Barnaby takes off without him. His attention turns back to the boy, and he's taken aback by his changed appearance. Fangs? That was unusual. Was this kid a vampire or something? Twisting the handle of the knife in his hand, boss's eyes dart to the weapon in the kid's hand. Was that some sort of sickle? This vampire kid must be a farmer or something, but then what was that chain at the end? He'd never seen something like that before, and couldn't help but wonder. He was a little thrown off know, not quite sure how to go about attacking or defending against that weapon.

Dre smiled a little as Barnaby ran off. "It's good the he doesn't have to die for your stupidity." He said to the boss. As he closed his eyes almost seeming in pain as his fang receded and turned back to regular teeth. He slowly opened his eyes sorry about that, if I had stayed like that any longer I would have sprouted a tail. Dre said as he stepped to the side again. He smirked a little, "My name is Dre Sato, I am a 3rd Class Dawn Strider." He said as he slowly began to walk. "I'll make this quick but only because I have a package to deliver." Dre threw the Kasuri gama forwards a little and grabbed onto the chain and then quickly began to spin it around in circle. He then threw it forwards send the blade flying towards boss.

Taking a staggering step back, boss's eyes widened. A tail? What sort of crazy magic was that? But it was more than that.... had he called himself a Dawn Strider? It as obvious boss was rather ruthless, but he knew better than to mess with them. To steal from a Strider was the steal from the Lady of Dawn herself, and boss had learned that lesson the hard way. It didn't matter if this kid was only a 3rd rank or a contractor working for them, boss turned tail and ran. If a Strider had a package to deliver, it was probably for that crazy captain of their's. Disappearing into the woods, boss doesn't stop running for miles and miles.

Dre pulled back on the chain of his Kasuri Gama, causing the blade the come back to him. As the blade came back, he let go of the chain and caught the Kasuri Gama, by the hilt and raised a brow. "Well," He said leaving a long pause after as he pushed his Kasuri Gama into back into his pouch. "If I knew All I had to do was that I would have said that from the beginning." He said as he looked back down to the cut on his shoulder. "Would have saved me a tunic too." He said with a sigh as he looked back down at the package, "oh, yeah, I still have to deliver this thing." Dre lifted the box and looked at it, examining it before putting it back under his arm. "Ok, no damage lets get a move on." He said as he started to run towards the Dawn Strider inn.
