DNA_Guru mysticaingeal DNA: I paid a couple of hundred of dollars for a few months in the US... 12 months in Japan would be wayyy more. But more importantly... SINCE WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO JAPAN FOR 12 MONTHS!?! Since forever! That's what you get for not talking to me on MSN and not noticing my Facebook and MSN tag/update things. Travel insurance for 12 months is going to cost me more than the plan ticket. It's close enough to $1300. Wow twelve months in Japan. Are you going there on a study exchange? Apart from the plane ticket and travel insurance, you're going to need to pack a fair amount of money with you, like say 10 grand. mrgreen Mystic: I did see a professional pathologist. Have you heard of Dorevitch Pathology? It's the best pathology service in the entire eastern Melbourne. As for my Ps, I still have them until May 2010. So for the next two and a bit years, I pretty much have to drive with a white elephant sitting on my back, as one more mistake and bang! My license is gone.

I'm quite aware of the cost and I will actually remain on Centrelink whilst I am in Japan so money is not so much of a problem. Plus the rent is a lot cheaper than here. I confess that after going to bed at 12 cause I was tired, I spent the next 3 hrs playing Zelda sweatdrop (It only felt like an hour had gone past!!) Which again reminds me of how cool that game is ^_^ Also, I heart my DS ^_^

What do you think? I'm lucky that I'm not going to be hit with those stringent new P Plater laws which restrict you to one passenger of the same age. Nope you can't ever renew the points you've lost as a P Plater, since well you get them all back and seven more when you become a full license holder anyway. I'm just going to have to drive with the fear of losing my license from now on. And yeah I have barely visible veins. xd I did drink a lot before hand, but both of my arms are covered in a layer of fat, so they're not exactly seeable. My right arm's a tad better than my left, so next time I'll ask them to draw blood from my right arm.

I confess as the new semester gets closer and closer I'm getting scared, because I'll be a 2nd year with freaking first years who are most likely going to be taller then me buzzing around and somehow I need to impress them and make them go wow being an all mighty 2nd year because that's what it was like for me in 1st year, we little 1st years looked up to the years above us and tried to get them to help us as much as we could and every little thing they did we though "WOW"

I'm not sure if I've ever really made the distinction between first years and 3rd years. I'll be doing a first year course in my 4th year, it'll be interesting so I guess I can see what you mean.

gonk Eh, you don't have be scared about being shorter than most of the 1st year uni students Biccy, because what year you're in at tertiary level hardly matters. It's not like secondary school where there's a clear age difference between say a year 12 and a year 7. I've seen a few 25/26 year olds in a first year course, and I've also seen people my age or younger already into their fourth or fifth years. Plus, unless you're the type who digs the uni life (most likely you are blaugh ) it's not like all the 1st year students are going to stare at you.
