Khenu let his eyes go wide then grabbed the glass. "Thank you!" Manners said he began downing the milk watching the three in the room with him over the rim of his glass.

Nailah took her own seat at the table and looked at Bastet. "You have met teh boy then? I wonder why he seems to be the way he does. And fear does show humanity. Everyone fears at some point in time. Only those who have lived far too long learn not to fear. And that only happens when they would welcome death. But still...he makes me uneasy and I haven't even met him yet...Needless to say I am looking forward to meeting him myself."

Aura was practically copying Khenu, replace milk with coffee. It was way too early to be this philosophical. At least for her. "Oh he's a barrel of fun." She finished her coffee and set the empty mug down. Aura sighed again, just knowing that this day was going to be bad. Look at the morning omen she had recieved.

"Well, maybe you will not be so quick to meet him once you feel him up and about. I know you guys can feel when people are awake." She stared hard at Khenu and Nailah. "Cat's can tell feelings about a person sometimes, and this will not be fun. By the way Nailah, how have the fluff balls been doing, you are hogging them."

"My cat is the mother after all. Actually I haven't checked on them in a while. I did see the black one playing with teh white one. He's getting to be much like his father, despite his coloring." SHe shook her head. "I need to name them. THey are getting so big, though." She pondered what Bastet had said about Darius. "What do we know of him? I sensed him even in my sleep and what I sensed scares me. I am not one to scare that easily and this just isn't right..."

Khenu was staring at Aura. Boy was she putting out some vibes.
Emptying the contents of his glass he set it down on the table and continued to stare at her, now copying her expression mockingly. "Don't be grumpy."

Bastet laughed at Khenu and mocked Aura as well, with her ears drooping in an angry manner, "Yea, I agree with him."
Then she looked over to Nailah, "I have temporarily named three of them Bolt, Spice, and Ashen, thanks partly to Khenu and Eclipse."

Aura narrowed her eyes slightly. "I'm not grumpy. I'm tired and annoyed. There's a clear difference between those." She looked at her mug, decided she needed more coffee, got up fetched herself some more and returned to the table. She gave Khenu a side glance and Bastet. "Not grumpy."

Nailah shook her head. "Just leave grumpy Aura alone. She'll be okay in a little while." She got up and began to search through the fridge for something to eat. Coming up with a slice of cheesecake she sat back down and began to eat. After taking a bite she said. "Those are very suitable names. Now to name the other two..."

Khenu tried not to laugh. "Grumpy..." He took his glass to the sink and dropped it carefully in as he listened to Nailah and Bastet talk.
Half his mind was on that the other half still lingered on Darius.

Aura practically slammed her mug down on the table. "I am not grumpy...let it go Khenu." She shook her head and continues working on her second cup of the day. One that would likely turn into the third. Looking around a moment she spied the note Eclipse had earlier mentioned sitting on the counter. Quickly she got up retrieved it, broke its seal and began to read, all the while sitting down at the table.

"Oh fine grumpy coffee addicted Aura." For some reason around Khenu she seemed to get more playful and child-like, more harmless in one sense. She refilled her glass with more milk and began to lap that up. "So, this one boy has occupied all of your minds brinking on obsession, and you are all kind of grumpy and/or upset. Seems like a sign to me."

"Aura needs a nap. Then she'll be fine." Niah laughed and looked at Bastet. " A nice long nap with one certain territorial vampire." She thought for a moment. "THen she'll be in her happy state for a few days." Niah bit her lip. "I'm not upset. Just cautious."

Khenu cocked his head to the side and looked at Aura again. A letter? Now what could be in a letter that caught her attention so easily.
Noticing her concentration on it and knowing full well that very concentrated people answered out right he piped up. "What's in the letter?"

Bastet slinked over to try and read over Aura's shoulder, "Curiosity should have already killed me so do not say it." When she could not get a clear view she took to standing by Khenu.
