"The thing is that I've never really tested it. However, I assure you that I included every safety precaution possible." The Architect continued, "Of course, I care about the pilot and I wouldn't want them involved in an unexplainable accident."

holyluminescence "The thing is that I've never really tested it. However, I assure you that I included every safety precaution possible." Akuma couldn’t wait any longer. “What is this experiment of yours?” he asked.

“This experiment is some machine that I thought of a long while back...maybe for about twenty years?” He shrugged. “I guess it was wild imagination, but I went to work on it anyway. Now I heard of the Deus X threat and decided that this was a good time to use it. I didn’t realize that I would need it now. It’s a good thing I kept this.” He smiled, thinking of the blueprint. “This pilot will face the Deus X threat.” He winked at Akuma. “Are you interested?”

Akuma had always longed for the chance to prove himself in battle and now the golden opportunity to face the greatest threat of his lifetime was within his grasp. “I’m interested for now, but I’m not promising anything,” replied Akuma.

((In the new members’ thread. I already showed the conversation to you. The time is currently 5-8 pm, which signifies the commencement of nighttime.))
"I didn't ask for a promise. I only need a pilot. Follow me." He beckoned to Sati. "Sati?" He looked at Akuma. "Oh right sir." He closed his eyes and muttered in a strange language. He pointed at Akuma, who began to briefly glow with a blue light. "Akuma, let's go," said the Architect, who soared into the sky. Sati followed shortly. The Architect looked at Banji again. “Banji, you seem to be waiting for something. I’ll let you wait and have it. Guys, be careful.” he called out. “Well, Akuma, you coming?”

Josh looked between the architect and Akuma, if what the architect had said as truth, then they were going to need some help. Hopefully Akuma could provide this. Josh registered the thought of two powerful beings fighting each other and smiled. Suddenly it felt like something had punched him round the face, he fell back to the floor rendered unconcious.
You hadn't forgotten about me had you, seems you've been living off the easy life for a little too long.
I knew it was too good to be true, you know at times, i thought i had really gotten rid of you, those nights where i tried to speak to you, but you did not answer, i truly thought i had rid myself of your cursed soul.
But I am Ashen Rahman, Ruler of all Elves and if I am not mistaken you are an elf and surficed to say you will be ruled.]
Josh twisted in his subconcious, trying to escape from the Valherus gaze, but his searing eyes burned into him.
Hayabusa noticed Josh's body lying back and squirming, he looked with confusion and then tried to stop the elf. He shook him but it was to no affect.
Inside his subconcious Josh wriggled away from the Valherus grasp but he could still hear the bone chilling laughter.
With a deep intake of breath and wide eyes Josh awoke. Hayabusa looked to him questioningly. The elf just shook his head and sat up. He was in complete shock.

Akuma didn’t know many spells nor was able to cast strong magic leading to his great suspicion of Sati’s ability to make others fly. He was wary but finally made up his mind. “I’m coming.”

The Architect and Sati flew up high and headed for their fortress. “I know he’s going to come sometime. I just hope Banji doesn’t ripe apart the encampment. Probably just looking for a fight.” Sati nodded, “Yeah, he does look kind of suspicious. I don’t trust that man. I wonder why he was waiting.” The Architect smiled. “I know he’s going to fight someone. I’m not a big fan of fighting. Fighting would be the last thing I’ll ever do.” He quietly mused about the epoch of the Ico, when he once served them. The Leader was one intriguing person, but then again the Architect was a confusing person himself. At least he found out about the threat. The Leader would know. He was his eternal archenemy.
Sati looked back. “I wonder when Akuma is coming. Should we wait?” The Architect smiled. “He’ll come around.” He grinned at the tower ahead of him.

Akuma thought long and hard about his decision. He knew that this was the opportunity he had been looking for, but he still had his doubts. His distrust might have gotten the best of him if he had any reason to stay behind. After slaying a comrade, accident or no, he would no doubt be treated horribly at best if he stayed with Josh’s army. There was also the factor of the ominous presence that Banji created. Akuma’s instincts told him to leave, but he was strongly apposed to showing any further acts of cowardice. “I guess I’ve already dug my grave,” thought Akuma. He sighed and turned from the rest of the group. He spotted the Architect and Sati in the distance and ran after them. He knew there was no turning back now.

“Care to fly?” the Architect called behind him. “It’s much more pleasant.” He turned to Sati. “See, I told you he would come around.” He winked. “Sir, how do you know these things?” The Architect blinked. “Experience. Once you became an old person like me, you’ll be wise...that is if you learn to. You can see patterns and you’ll know how to solve problems in the blink of an eye. Being old has its advantages.” He sighed. “Many people – old people – wish to become younger. I see no point in that. Life is a journey. If you run into a ditch, you’ll have to work your way out. You can’t just wish yourself back at the ditch so that you’ll take a different route.” The castle window moved closer to them. “Wow, time flies when you’re having fun. Sati, whatever you do, have fun. I hate to see a person – as young, bright, and skilled like you – to be wasted away as an old man, hunched over his desk and becoming too tired to leave his bed. Life is full of opportunities, and it’s up to you to pick which ones you want.”
The castle window disappeared again, and they gently glided into the Architect’s study. “I’d wish he hurry up...but we shall wait for him to catch up. Such a stubborn person he is.” He shook his head. Sati questioned, “What about Banji?” The Architect sighed. “Trouble is coming and the times are dark. We must wait out the storm. I knew he was here for evil intentions. I admit, the rebels are pretty weak, but we have numbers and spirit. I pity the Ico.”

Akuma arrived at the castle gates a while after the Architect and Sati arrived. He had run the entire way but was only moderately tired. It wasn’t as though he had been sprinting at full speed. He surveyed the castle breathing a bit heavier than normal.
((I'm getting off for the day but I'll probably be on tomorrow evening. See ya! biggrin ))

The Architect laughed out loud upon seeing Akuma, outside, recovering from a long sprint to his castle. “He should have listened to me. He’s stubborn...that’s a problem. I don’t want him to do anything rash during battle. Sati, bring him here.” Sati blinked. “What if he resists my telekinesis?” The Architect sighed. “Forget it. I’ll bring him here in person.” He walked to his chair and sat down. “You’re right, he would resist any attempt to float. I have no idea what he has against flying.” He chuckled to himself before he pressed a button underneath his desk. The chair sunk into the floor, dragging the Architect with him. Sati ran to the hole and peered down. “Just wait there!” He barely discerned it from the clanks of gears and metal banging against each other.
Sati sighed. “I wonder how long he’s going to take. I honestly think Akuma is a bad pilot. I have no idea what the Architect sees in him. But I’ve seen his genius at work. He saved me from those flying bombs...I wonder what he’ll do this time. He’s such an enigmatical person.” He scratched his head. It sometimes hurt to think. He surveyed the many blueprints on his desk. He blinked and looked closer. Some writing caught his eye. On the corner of one paper were the words, “Size not to scale. Think big.” Exhaling, he closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. “He’s weird.”

Rin got up from bed, as she had woken up before Kyo for once. Getting up from bed, she got dressed in a pale violet kimono that was made of silk and was adorned with silver flowers. Brushing out her long red hair, she tied it into a low ponytail with a purple ribbon and went to the window and looked out at the darkness.

Zersilo examined the letter that his brother had sent him. It was still night, luckily meaning that Banji should be alright. The night was their element and their powers were very strong during that time. Zersilo had rested during the day for the most part, and now it was his time. His skeleton regiments were on the move, securing the area he had bought from a Warlord. He had also conviently bought a few cemeteries and raised the enterity of them. The earth was still covered, but his ranks had been strengthened. People still buried there dead there, and it would provide consistent reinforcements.
