"Well, you never do, gay-lord!" Fae yelped at Ruarc, even though he was too far away to hear. People were staring, now, and Fae made a face at them to get them to look elsewhere; she needed to get back to her own business.

Though he couldn't make out her words, Ruarc knew Fae had shouted something, and the thought caused him to snicker. After a moment, he stopped walking to scan the beach. Looks like they're gone, he thought, though he definitely could not see the entire beach from where he stood. Mercunias beach was huge.

 I'm about to post! Watch me~Hari had led Nariko to the beach, looking around the volleyball courts to see if there was anyone around there that knew where Mickey was and if she had been around anyone. It turned out that she had gone off somewhere with a group of local boys that were either on good terms with people or really bad terms with others. The man was somewhat uncomfortable about her being with a group of guys and them being locals made it worse. On top of that, they had no idea of knowing where they could have gone!

Nariko had followed right behind Hari, partly trying to stay far away from Claw and knowing he didn't like Hari. "Her smell is faint, but I think she went this way."the fox explained to Hari and pionting her thumb over to where the faint scent trail of Mickey and the boys whom's scent she remebered from before went.

Basa was still gone. Mickey sighed to herself as she sat back in the seat. As she had said, she was waiting in the lobby of the Sweet Breeze. The half demon was growing bored, but she entertained herslef watching the goings-on of the inn.

"What'cha doing?" Higis asked, suddenly appearing only inches from Mickey's face. His large eyes were full of curiosity and he seemed completely awake. Ran and Shorn were doing things upstairs so they had not noticed that their friend had woken up.

Mickey blinked, taking a moment to come back down to earth. "Sitting," she replied, "And watching people." A calm smile was on her lips as she spoke.

I'm about to post! Watch me~"What? That's bo~ring~" the boy commented though he sat down and stretched across the table, "We should go get something to eat. I'm hungry..." Though the boy had some energy and looked like he was fully functional, he needed a bit of food to stay awake. Higis didn't seem aware of his condition though and truly felt hungry.

I'm about to post! Watch me~"Alright!" the boy cheered before turning to the man at the counter, who was hiding behind some kind of newsprint, "Dad, we're gonna go now! I'll be back~" The man seemed to shoo the boy off with one hand, grunting a little bit. He was preoccupied. "C'mon~" Higis grabbed Mickey by the wrist and started for the door of the inn, despite having a dining room within the place. He didn't care for all the fancy seafood dishes that his mother made for the guests.

The girl let herself be pulled at first, but after a moment Mickey caught up to Higis. "So where're we going?" she asked him.

I'm about to post! Watch me~"Not far!" the boy told her, letting go of her wrist when her pace was similar to his own, "They have these whack patty stand that's pretty good~ And they serve everything with large glasses of malt cream! It's really good!"

"Cool," Mickey replied, a smile settling on her mouth again. She wasn't sure what a whack patty was but she'd tried a cream earlier and pretty much knew what one was. If they had to order, she'd just ask Higis to order for her. He seemed to have childlike tastes, so she was sure he'd be into food she'd probably like, too.

I'm about to post! Watch me~It was about a ten minute walk before the two people were towards the end of the boardwalk and near the docks that stretched out into the ocean. Not too far from the boardwalk was a small building with no door. There were small wooden tables and even a bar counter near the grill-like area. "Uncle!" Higis called, waving to a middle-aged man that looked nothing like the boy, "Hey! It's been awhile!"
The man seemed to laugh, cleaning the glass in his hand absent-mindedly. "You were here last night, Higs," the man spoke in an amused tone, "But it looks like you have a new friend there."
"C'mon~ don't call me that~" the boy spoke, hopping into one of the chairs at the bar, "This is Mickey! She's from Itacia so she's just visiting."
"Nice ta meet you," the man spoke, nodding his head towards the girl before redirecting his attention back onto Higis, "So the usual for you?"
"We'll see~"
Kyu~ I'm tired now...
