Miles smiled at her cheerfully, nodding in response. "Sure, let's go there first." The vampire placed his top hat back onto his head, and adjusted the long coat he was already wearing. 'Now, for the issue of cover,' Miles thought boredly, glancing around for a closet.
Frowning, Miles glanced down the hallway, before stepping toward a door and opening it, finding within it what seemed to be bed sheets and blankets. He frowned. "That won't do," Miles murmured, before moving on the next door. Opening it, a loud creaking noise resounding through the halls, Miles was satisfied when he came across several thick coats. He stepped back, holding his hand out towards the closet, "Ladies first."

She smiled and reached for one of the coats. She slipped it on and went inot her brothers room. She grabbed every weapon she could find and stuffed them into the pockets. Her brother never was good at using what he had, he's too nice. She flipped up the hood and left the room, meeting Miles in the hallway. She noded to him. "I'm ready." she said.
"Do we agrre then?" Sa'Vinitta asked. I nodded and stood up. "Where are you going?" he asked. "Oustide." I responded. He stood up and stepped in front of me. "It's still daylight out." he said. I rolled my eyes and looked away. "The sun was setting when we came in." I told him. "That doesn't alter the fact that it is still up." he scolded. I glared at him. "Move old man." I demanded. He shook his head. "No." I grabbed the front of his shirt in an attempt to toss him out of the way. He clasped one hand around my wrist and the other around on my shoulder. I was forced down in an instant. "Don't try to match me in strength. You may have been altered but I am still older than you by far. You cannot match me." he said. I backhanded him with my other hand and he let go. "Its your fault I'm like this in the first place." I screamed at him. I drew my sword and walked owards him. "If you wouldn't have tunred the b***h in the first place I never would have been like this." I s yelled. He looked at me, guilt reflected in his eyes. "How did you know." he asked. "Her memories. Remember the part where I saw them?" I said. He backed into the wall and slid down it. "Then you also know that..." "Yes. I know that you were already an ancient when you turned her, giving a fledgling the abilities of an ancient." I finished for him. I pointed my sowrd at his throat. "It's your fault this war started, its your fault she is even in existance today, it's your fault that I was evenutally turned along with my sister, and it's your fualt I am the way that I am." I said, my voice dripping with venom. "So you hate me then?" he said. "If I hated you I would have killed you when you slept. No, your blood will be spilled in this war, along with mine." I said. I walked away from him. "One way or another, Rena will die, be it by your hand or my own, but you will have some part to play in this war." I said. I turned to look at him. "It is your creation that did this. She killed thousands of innocents and made em into what I am, something neither human....nor vampire." I said. Nothing was said for awhile, but he finally looked me in the eyes and said, "I'm sorry."

Miles smiled at Alexis, adjusting the coat he had put on just moments before. "Onward then," He said, walking out of the hallway, down the stairs, and towards the door. "You'll have to lead the way I'm afraid," he said, sounding apologetic. "Since I don't know the way and all."

Alexis nodded and left to cafe. She looked around for awhile. "Um..." she began. She turned to look at Miles. "I'm afraid I don't know the way either." she said, an apologetic smile on her face.
I walked up the stairs. "Where are you going?" Sa'Vinitta asked me." Out side. Why, you want to come with me." I snapped at him. He shook his head. "No." I didn't say anything, just continued up the stairs. I exitd the mansion. The sun was still up, but barely. Only a fledgling would burn in this. I walked. Not in any particular direction, just wandered. I was mulling over everything. From my memories, to Rena's, to Sa'Vinitta's. They all conflicted with the others. I couldn't tell what was fact and what was fiction. It was frustration and aggrivating. I knew what I was led to believe, having witnessed it myself. Sa'Vinitta was an ancient and therefor had the abilitie to arange his thoughts to his chooseing with all probability. So I culdn't rely on his memories, they were probably fragments of half turths. The left Rena's, which in all reality, and I couldn't believe I was saying this, but they were probably the most likely choice. She's not much older than myself. So I would go off of her memories and mine. I would probably refer to Sa'Vinitta's, but carefully. I grabbed on the my face and shook my head. This has all gotten so complicated. Sometimes I wish I would have simply died in the fire with everyone else.

Tyrell got up and rubbed his eyes. Things were so weird these past days for him. He looked around, Zatch had gone to his room and Tyrell thought of going for fresh air. He walked outside and he combed his hand through his hair as he walked along the road. Vampires, lychans, man life was messed up, a childhood dream turned to a nightmare.. He took another deep breath as he walked further...

((here is something somebody can work off of.))
Tyrell walked for a few blocks and he heard something, so he started to walk faster. He walked into a park, open, bright, but not empty. He made it into the playground, and then they came. At least five at first, then it went to eight or ten. They snickered, lychans. Tyrell reeled with fear untill a voice rang out, "No one touch him, I like this one!" Tyrell snarled as he stepped away from the pearl white one. He shifted freakishly back to a human, but he only did that to let his prey compose. Tyrell kicked at a broken pole, spattered in blood, this had happened before. He grabbed it, and the lychan twisted back into its wolfish form, Lunging at his opponent.
Tyrell hollered as he slashed in the air, blood splashed into the night air, tyrells blood. The beat lay a clean bite on his arm, and tore it away. Tyrell clutched his arm gasping, wide-eyed and in severe pain he whined silently. The lychens laughed as the leader taunted, "lets see how your vampire friends treat you now!" Tyrell collapsed to the ground screaming for help.

Miles hand smiled politely down at her, just before pulling his coat tighter when a scream echoed through out the vicinity. Miles gave one glance to Alexis, more of a surprised frown than anything though, as if he was saying the scream was something that had to be investigated. Without a second thought, Miles flitted away.
Following the sound of the scream, and what he undoubtedly knew as the scent of fresh blood, Miles soon found himself a few blocks further from the Cafe. It was a small playground, rusty and obviously old... yet the setting was hardly the main point of the event occurring in front of him.
Several lycans crowded around a badly injured young man. Miles recognized him as being the one Alana and Zatch had been with earlier. Miles could not help but realize the crimson that now stained the ground matched wonderfully with the red of the setting sun. If Miles didn't already have to deal with a severely injured human, as well as the dogs that stood before him, Miles may have looked upon it nearly poetically.
But on this rare occasion, Miles, who so rarely felt any kind of malice, or discontent or anyone or anything, wore an expression so promising of death to come, that it appeared nearly as if he wasn't the same top-hat wearing, cane wielding vampire as before.
Making his presence clear, Miles stepped forward, tapping his cane on the ground loudly, so whether his current company, no matter how nauseating, or brainless they may be, tried to ignore him, it would be near impossible.
He said nothing, a look of pure loathing on his face... so much so, that to simply call it a glare wouldn't nearly begin to describe the hatred so clearly expressed. His eyes, normally cheerful and bright, now held a certain coldness to them as he stared into the faces of the beasts in front of him.
Miles held his cane up, grasping the hilt while his other hand held the cane near it's middle. Tugging lightly, his cane began to come apart, revealing a blade. Miles continued to remove the "sword" while sizing up his opponents.
Four appeared to be lower class lycans, while the other four appeared to possess some kind of intelligence and strength. 'Albeit meager,' the vampire thought.
It took but a few seconds before the sun sunk behind the trees. It was all Miles was waiting for, as he swiftly removed the coat, and his top hat, tossing them in a pile behind him. Moving with speed gifted to vampires, Miles leapt towards the nearest lycan, one of the few that appeared as if they new what they might be doing, slicing down twice, before moving to two other lycans. Performing similar movement, Miles made two more slicing motions as quickly as he could to each of the two lycans, before flitting back to the boy, standing between him and the remaining opponents.
Milliseconds later, the three lycans Miles attacked let out screeches of pain, their arms falling to the ground with thuds. Six amputated limbs now lay at the feet of three Lycans, and Miles couldn't care less of their pain... now matter how public they decided to make it.
Miles turned his attention to the three once again, sending them a look of hatred and ill-intent, though he said nothing. Miles was well aware silence could be far more affective than words sometimes.
Adjusting his footing, Miles gripped his cane tighter, well aware of the bleeding young man he was protecting. He glanced at his remaining opponents, half wanting them to try and strike so he could treat them to the same courtesy he'd already shown their friends, and half wanting them to just leave so he could tend to the boy.

I had heard the scream and flitted towards the direction it was coming from. I saw Miles had already arrived at the scene, so I hung back and let him do whatever he was going to do. "So thats why he carries that cane." I half whispered to myself. I watched as he succesfully dispatched three of them and grabbed the boy. I waited to see if he would do anything to the others. When he did nothing but glare I pulled my gun and squeezed off five shots, sending a bullet into the forheads of the remaing five lychans. After that, seeing how I felt rather certain that he had everything else under control, I flitted off in the opposite direction. "I wasn't sure if I was ready to be around them just yet.

Tyrell looked to another vampire, he was dressed funny, but his body was giving somthing off, a scent or an aura. He glared, but then whent wide eyed as he backed up and threw up as he sobbed. This was not fun bleeding and sobbing. He growled as he sat back and looked at the sky, he cryed harder, but all the more silent as he felt his body drenched in his blood.

Miles was hardly surprised at the sudden death of the other lychans, though it would make sense if he were. In truth, he'd had more important matters to focus his attention on than the strange, and sudden death of the lychans. The vampire gave one last look at the three armless enemies, before turning around and giving Tyrell his full attention.
He moved quickly, kneeling near the young man. His wound was a bloody mess; Miles realized a tourniquet would be needed. Quickly, he fetched the coat he was wearing from the Cafe, tearing it into thin long strips.
"This will hurt." Miles said emotionless, preparing to take care of the young man as best as possible, given the circumstances.
((So did Tyrell loose his arm? Because I know he got bit, and the lychan "tore it away" but I want to make sure I have it all clear before I post some nonsense about something or another. xD ))

Alexis caught up with Miles and inspected the scene. "It seems I missed quite the party." she said. She noticed that all but three of the lychans were shot, but she also noticed that Miles didn't have a gun. She decided not to bring it up right now, instead she walked closer to Miles and The boy, who she noticed was from the cafe. "What can I do to help?" she asked.
I continued my wandering, putting the most recent event in the corner of my mind. I came across what appeared to be an old military armory. I entered it and gave myself a tour of the building. Everything that even remotly could have been used as a weapon had already been raided of course, not that I was suprised, though I admit that I wouldn't have minded finding something. I was getting bored so I decided to leave. On my way out I passed by the garage. All the vehicles were still there. I shrugged and walked up for a closer look. On closer inspection I found out why they were still there. Two of them didn't have wheels, one was missing the steering wheel, and the last one didn't have an engine. Unimpressed, I took my leave of the place, not bothering to inspect the rest of the building. As I left I saw a group of lychans and vampires, probably Rena's. I took a few steps closer so I would be just within their sight.

Markus watched the scene in the café unfold with bored eyes, his attention was much more directed toward Alana, who had now eaten, he assumed, and walked around with a meager new strength. The vampiress nodded at Zatch as he went up to his room, but made no effort to follow him. Markus smiled a little at this, he knew what she intended now.
As soon as the café was empty but for them and Markus’s two pawns, Alana turned the full force of her blue eyes upon him. It was not a threatening glance, for those would only amuse him. It was the glace she reserved only for Zatch, a look that she knew would cut him deeper than anything else. “You will not threaten my friends again, do you understand?” Her words were not low and menacing, but light and casual, as though this were just a normal conversation. She gestured for him to change his position that she may sit with him, and he did so without reluctance. As she sat on the couch, his arm folded around her shoulders, and she accepted the moment of friendliness between them as she moved to lean her head against his chest. “You see, your presence has very quickly made itself a nuisance to Zatch, and as this is his home…”
“Why do you play such games, Alana?” The vampire asked suddenly, cutting her off. His voice was even, his posture impartial, but Alana could nearly feel the intensity, the years of questions, behind his voice. “You are bound to me, you understand this. At any moment I could force him out of your life. Why do you set yourself up for such discipline? Why do you risk such things for someone so futile, so fickle in his life choices, so much like a child?”
Alana took a moment to consider this, carefully bringing herself closer to the vampire who made her life exceedingly difficult, and yet had provided her with more companionship than anyone had before. “It isn’t a game, Markus, not now, at least. No matter what it may have been before, no matter what it may seem like, this isn’t a game. If it were a game, I could quit, and there are so many times when I wish I could go back to the life I once knew, but I cannot. Even after a century of being apart from him, we are still drawn to each other. Markus, the binding we had was cut many years ago, with the fall of Hellsing. It doesn’t matter what you say to argue that, it’s the truth. Each time I come back to you, it is because I want to, not because I am forced to. But with Zatch, there is no choice for me; we find each other, and try as we may to not allow any sort of affection to arise, it always does. Yes, he is childish, yes he is without discipline, and it’s true that I don’t know very much about him, but I cannot give him up, Markus. I would defend him even against you.”
Markus was not surprised by her words, but they still left a small, hardly noticeable fracture in his long-frozen heart. The fracture, however, like everything else in his body, was quickly healed. “Yet here we sit.” Markus murmured, and pressed his lips against his betrothed’s-and no matter what she may claim, he still did own her in this way-hair.
Alana sighed and made no move against him. “Here we sit.” She agreed.
No more words were needed then. They knew well enough from years of companionship what the other was thinking, and in this as so many other cases, it was the same. Alana was thinking of Zatch, and how human the situation he had put her in was. She was also thinking of Markus, and how, no matter what she claimed, she knew that he had the power to force her away from Zatch, even if only temporarily, and wondered why he had not; the answer was already there in her mind, an untouchable truth, and utterance that he had never spoken to her in consciousness, but it was there. Markus was thinking of Alana’s relationship with Zatch; how different it had made Alana. It had made her weak, more of a woman than a warrior, but it was for this that, in his own way, Markus was grateful. When he had met Alana, he had seen a vampire robbed of her previous life, robbed of the ability to laugh and love and dance. These were things that Markus had not been able to fully offer her, the joys of humanity. This strange vampire, this childish and futile Zatch, had been able to do what he could not. He did not dwell on this thought for too long, though, for another more pressing one was at his lips, one which brought made the fracture in his heart disappear, and instead melted just a half of a millimeter of ice from around his heart. “You were wrong about one thing, Alana.” Markus murmured. “Our bond was never broken.” With that said, he shifted his position to truly look down at her, to weigh her expression against his comment. Instead, he found himself very grateful just that she was here in his arms once again. The desire to kiss her was suddenly all-consuming, and he silently willed her lips to his.
Alana said nothing in return, but Markus could see in her eyes that she knew he was right, that no matter how much she would eternally be bound to the vampire pacing in a room above them, she was still his. Silently and subconsciously, Alana found herself moving her lips to Markus’s for just a moment, kissing him softly. Then she stood up, and without a word walked up the stairs to Zatch’s room, the moment of tenderness between herself and her betrothed disintegrating as she opened the door to the room and smiled at the vampire waiting for her.

One of the vampires must have seen me out of the corner of his eye because he turned to look at me. "It's him." he pointed and said to the others. "Lets get him. She'll definantly reward us for taking him to her." one of the lychans snarled. He made a move to come at me when he was stopped by an outstreached arm from one of the vampires. "Not if you kill him she wont. She wants him alive and he'll kill us if we try to take him by force." he said. "So what should we do?" the lychan asked. I heard a sigh followed by a female voice. "You do realize that he can probably hear every word you idiots are saying." she said. After that the voices grew quieter to the point where I could only make out an occasional word. I leaned back against the wall of the building, amused by the bickering of the group. I looked up to the sky, pretend that I was no longer paying attention. I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. I tunred to see a female vampire pushing her way through the group and walking towards me. "So exactly how much of that did you hear?" she asked me. "Everything untill you told them to be quiet." I responded. She sighed and nodded. "I though so. So you already know who we are then?" she asked. I turned my head to look back at the sky. "What do you want?" I asked her. "Rena wants you......." "I know she wants me back, but that doesn't answer my question." I cut her off. "You said yourself that I'd kill your whole group if you tried to take me by force. Give me a reason why I shouldn't think that's what your going to attempt to do." I told her. You could tell from the look in her eyes that she knew the threat was valid. sighed. "Look, I like you. You had the courage to come talk to me while the rest of your group stood there and trembled in either fear or anticipation of a fight. You have a level head and I like that, I'd really hate to kill you." I said. She leaned over to me and whispered into my ear. "I don't like Rena either." she said. I looked at her, trying to find out if she was telling the truth. Her eyes showed no deception. "Why should I believe you?" I asked. "You need help in your war and I have intimate knowledge orf her havens." she said. "And so does my sister." I countered. "Thats true, but Rena wont wait for you to......." "She doesn't have a choice but to wait. She wouldn't do anything that might anger me at this point. You know just as well as I that she isn't driven by anger or rage." I said. It was quiet for awhile. "I was around before you were tunred. Before your sister I was Rena's right hand. Your sister only knows about the havens that were created when she was a vampire, I know about all the rest." she said. I crossed my arms and bent my knee, placing my foot on the wall. She placed her hand on my arm. My eyes wet wide with shock. Her hand was warm. I turned to look at her. "Have you fed tonight?" I asked. She gave me a confused look. "No, why?" she asked. Now I was the one confused. "Your warm." I said. She smiled, realization reflecting in her eyes. "An expirement. She found a way to reduce the need to feed, I wa the guinea pig." she said. "Any side effects?" I asked. She nodded. "Some, but nothing like yours." she said. I looked back at the sky. It was silent for awhile again. "Please, let me come with you." she said. Her tone was desperate. "Alright, but at the first hint of treachery I'll kill you." I said. She smiled. "I know. My name is Serena." she said. I turned and walked away, toiwards the mansion. "Lets go. I want to ask you some things." I said.
