When Meris wrapped his arms around Uni and the sheet, Uni had nearly no reaction at all. Though, he did tense for a moment. He knew meris well enough now, that he wasn't going to be scared of him as an adult. Unless meris did something to compramise that. "O...o-kay.."

One of the other performers quickly brought him some street clothes. He placed Uni's on his lap before he took off his torn clothes that had riped on his growth and put the clothes of an adult. Strangely his hair looked as if it had gone through about ten years growth as well and was now all the way down his back.
"Uni, .. are you ready?" He asked still keeping his back to the unicorn in case he would scare him.

Uni slowly changed into the clothes provided for him. When he was done putting them on, he stood up slowly, remaining in the corner. "I.. i'm.. ready.." He spoke softly and quietly as he stared down at the ground.

Meris reached over and took his hand, "Come on Uni we're leaving this horrible county. I'm going to take you someplace with Oceans and forests." He said trying to cheer him up, put aside his own fear and anger, and cursing the country where so many horrible things had happened.

Uni slowly took Meris' hand and left the corner slowly. He continued to look at the ground, tears still in his beautifully large purple eyes. "I'm sorry.. i'm causing you.. a lot of trouble."

"Your my only friend in the world right now Uni. Your no trouble at all.. not even a little bit." He smiled at him." His voice was much deeper now as an adult and he was taller too. The lanky man had to be at least six foot four, maybe five. "I'm going to pick you up now okay? I'll try not to hold you to close, but I think that I can run faster this way." He spoke as he moved behind Uni.

Uni tried to put on a little smile at being told he was no trouble, though he failed completely. Than, as Meris moved around behind him, Uni became completely alert. He turned and tried to move away at the same time, which caused him to fall to the floor quite hard. He pushed himself up instantly and stared at Meris with wide, scared eyes.

Meris sighed and looked at him with a pained and hurt expression. He didn't want Uni to be afraid of him.. He truelly hated being stuck this way, in the form that terrified him so. "Uni .. do you remember this." He pulled the side of his still unbuttoned shirt back a bit and showed him a large scar near his heart where Uni had pierced his chest before.

Uni stared at the scar for a minute and soon his eyes started to fill with tears as he looked up, into Meris' eyes. He got up slowly and went over to meris slowly before hugging him. "I.. didn't.. mean.." He sobbed quietly into Meri's chest.

"I know Uni. I know you didn't mean too, but.." He continued wrapping his arms around him gently, slowly kneeling down a bit and picking up the impossibly light unicorn in his arms and beginning to walk slowly away from the circus and wagons. "If you keep being afraid of me it'll happen again." But strangely he smiled. "Cause I'm not about to let go of my only friend, not when he's scared and hurt. Even if he is going to hurt me before he calms down. Sorry I'm so selfish Uni." He chuckled lightly.

Oddly enough, as soon as Uni was in Meris arms he seemd to calm down a bit. The main reason he got freaked out from Meris trying to pick him up the first time is because he suddenly started to move behind the unicorn. "You.. your not.. self ish.. and.. I won't hurt you.." Uni put his head on Meris' shoulder now as they started to leave the circus.

((Who's shoulder)) "Just hang on tight Uni." Meris said as he started to pick up speed, running quickly away through the streets and towards the outskirts of the city. He had been fast before, but now his legs were longer and he was surprised himself at the speed.

Uni wrapped his arms a bit tighter around Meris, though when they started to actually run, his grip became a bit tighter. His face was hidden in Meris' neck and he was still crying slightly from the earlier events. He would be crying for awhile, though he would try his best to hide it or stop it.

((I forgot you like to use your charactert in more places than one. whee lol Still it's like Uni is cheating on Meris. ~falls over laughing~))
Meris just let Uni cry as he ran, holding him securely in his arms. He'd run as far and and long as he need to until he had left the city behind him and ran all the way into the oasis.

Nickolai looked about with slightly interested eyes as he passed through the crowded marketplace. A light grip was kept on Payne's hand, not wanting him to become lost or wander off. The last thing he needed was to lose him and then have to beat someones face in just to get him back. A blind and mute slave was seen as a prize in many masters eyes. There was no way he was letting his slave get into anymore trouble. He had already nicked his ankle on a sea urchin, nearly killing himself. That was a stressing night, the last thing he needed was for his slave to be stolen.
His silver eyes glanced back at Payne to make sure he was fairing well. The pace of there walk was kept slow for the sake of his still healing ankle. The fact that he could possibly sprain it by stepping on it wrong out of discomfort was a little high. More than once did the idea of picking the smaller male up and carrying him occur in his mind. The mystic wasnt too far away though and he assumed that Payne could make it.
