For a long time, I thought they were all the same thing, and I guess, in basic roots, they are. But there are specific differences I think. Though I don't know any of them.
I've come to know "geeks" and "nerd" as the same basic thing. Computer-litterate, often video-gamers, RPers, into generically geekish things. I have a friend who specifically declares he be defined as a geek. I still am generally confused about it, but he says that you know you're a geek/nerd/whatever, when you can sit in the mall and sing the pokemon theme--the full version--and know all the lyrics. (Which of course, was declared after we had just done so. sweatdrop ) I'll stop now.
