Allah The Eternal What do you guys think about the presidential election? I voted, and I'll just be glad when it's over. This election has been so long and tiring.

I voted for a third party. I don't like the Republican or Democratic candidates. I know who I voted for won't win, and that's OK with me.

LOL! Actually, the Fey I was talking about are a group of people/creatures in the Mercedes Thompson series by Patricia Briggs... they are the people you would have found in the Grimm Brothers' stories, the witch that ate children or whatever. They are unable to lie, and thus, find a way to get around having to tell full truths. So they answer, but not directly.

Just about any Paranormal/Fantasy writer will keep to the rules laid out before them of what certain types of people can and cannot do. I read three or four different series of books, and they all keep to the same basic understanding of "This is the outline of a werewolf, this is the outline of a vampire, and this is the outline of the Fey/Faye/Faerie Folk/Elves"

In his books, his vampire can be out at any time of day, she just has to wear a cloak. In all others, vampires 'die' during the day, and only the most powerful can stay up and even dare to step in the sun for any amount of time. For his werewolves, they can change in the blink of an eye, and they aren't the handsomest things in the world, since most werewolves actually are kanine-like in appearance, and some even have fangs and muzzles when they are human. It just.... annoys me x.x
