Nakago grey_eye_guy19 "Thank you." Sanjiro smiled. "I've always played it." He looked down at the flute and smiled sadly. "So... Did you enjoy my music?"
::Kage paused realizing how it would sound if he was gushing out over how the strange melodies had helped him, so he held back, not wanting to scare the boy off. He nodded his head to the side in a "lets take a walk and talk" fashion and turned away from the tree, brushing the last bts of bark from his suit..::
You say you have...always played it...you didn't have to have anyone teach you? ::he glanced quizzicaly at him::

((Hey guys! Sorry for my lack of postage. My new job is killing every moment that college isn't. And now my internet at home is down for the count. I'll try and get on again as soon as possible, but I won't be on very much this week. I swear I'll try though! Oh, and yes I did give Korin-chan permission to play Subby, yes I think it would be terribly funny, and yes, I approve of burning down the school and seducing her ^_^ ))

Nakago Touchy touchy...I see how it is...you only love me for my tender words, and loving disposition... heart ...you're not in it for the Sex and Power. Kigen ::Kigen glanced around for a moment..and then heard strange words from the lone girl at the table. The language was one he had never heard in all his life, and immediately, his mind shot to 'SPELL!'. He froze mid step and stood staring at her as she finished the words and stood up...it seemed she was going through motions that might accompany an incantation. He gathered his chi and focused it so that he would be ready for whatever was coming. Had she sensed him? Had she known he was coming? Who was she..What---And then her eyes met his. Yes, it was certain now...she was the one...the anomaly in connection with Seiryuu...His character flashed for a breif second as he dispelled the gathered energy. He took a few slow steps forward, never losing her eyes.::
As he moved closer, a siren went off in Yui's mind, and she finally gained control of her senses again. The high schooler jerked her chair back and stood hurriedly. She clenched her fists at her sides but forced herself to keep her tone even and she asked, "Something I can help you with, Oji-san [sir/mister]?"

Sanjiro smiled. "I guess I was just one of the lucky ones born with talent." He glanced behind for a second and noticed the pouty expressions that the girls were giving him. He shook his head and looked back at the man. "But I don't think I really deserve it." Yui Yui did not miss the flash of blue. Her breath caught in her throat, and her hand dropped slowly from her earring, falling to the table with a light thump. She wanted to rip her gaze away, pretend that she'd never seen him, but she couldn't seem to take her eyes off of him. This couldn't be happening... there was no way... no way she had seen that glow, or that symbol, or...

"Yes...Yes...I think you can help me...but the rest of these..." ::motioning towards the others in the resturant:: "...need not be involved..."
::He narrowed his eyes, still locked in hers, trying to read into her soul, her being, not exerting power over her...simply trying to analyze..this strange essence. Best described as a residue of the power of Seiryuu...the highest form...Seiryuu himself...but how?::
::He brought his hands together in a thoughtful manner::

|ooc: *Sighs* Nevremind, people seem to disapprove of my RPing here so I'll just finish up on the other thread and head. At least in this thread I hadn't really got in to the swing of thigns though - which is good.

grey_eye_guy19 It was Sanjiro's turn to freeze now. He stared at the ground, refusing to meet the mans eyes. He had heard this story many times before of how his music had some bizarre effect on them.

*Blinks* I'm confused... why is Korin-chan leaving us?
To Ameko-no-Mori: I can't give you the full scoop, but because there's no Miaka and you had disappeared, we went ahead and moved Yui to a different restaurant. She just met Kigen. Kage (nakago) and --- (amiboshi) are at Tokyo U, having just met. Kyo and Takashi are on their way to Tokyo U as well. I'm not sure about everyone else.
We're allowed 2 characters now, by the way...

Yui blinked at the stranger's unusual statement. She continued standing, uncertain how to react. She wasn't about to just walk out of here with this stranger, even if they would be on a crowded Tokyo street, but she didn't want to force his hand and make him do something drastic either. Somehow she instinctively knew that he could cause a lot of damage if he wanted to, and she didn't want to have to test her hunch.
"I'm sure that anything I can help you with can be said in here," she answered politely. "What is it that you need, exactly?"

"So this is Tokyo U, eh?" Kyo remarked, craning his head around to look at the many lovely buildings rising up about him. "Nice place. I might have t'consider comin' here."
"Would you stop doin' that?" Takashi growled, grabbing his friend's sweater and dragging him through the campus. "You look like a tourist, a complete country bumpkin."
"But I am a--"
"Well ya don't have t'look it! People'll take advantage of ya if ya do," Takashi warned. He released his friend and pulled out a small map, eyes skimming it quickly. "Now, where is that Visitor's Center...?"

But he wanted no disturbance with this girl...as he had with others he had met...but this time even more so because of her strangely framiliar and yet completely new and differnt nature. He thought she had reated more to him than he would have initially expected...so he played up the next few motions*
"I need..." *he said with deliberation, his character beginning to glow slightly* "to understand better" *his character glowing more intense as his power encircled them* "...You!" *By the end of his word, they were shrouded by his life force and control of time. It was a handy power..and he was glad to have retained this bit of the many gifts of Seiryuu. Though, in the back of his mind, he worried about his ability to keep pace in this strange world.*

Rihga Yui took several steps back as the stranger's symbol started to flare brightly, but before she could move far she bumped into something hard - and pulsing with power. The girl whirled and found herself locked in a glowing sphere of... his ki, perhaps? That was what the seishi had always used, so...
She whirled back, fists clenched defensively at her sides even though she knew she'd never be able to fight this strange man. She narrowed her eyes a bit, trying to see if she recognized him... but no, he didn't have the same power aura that her seishi had... there was something entirely different about this one.
"Who are you?" she demanded, no longer trying to sound polite. "What do you want from me?"
*he sat calmly and very composed, like a businessman at a meeting*
"Who am I? Somehow I doubt you would believe me if I told you...but why not...Things can only get so much worse...
My name, is Kigen Kenryoku..."
*Here he stood slowly, very dramatically*
"But I am better known as the right hand of the god of battle..."
*He clenched a fist and the air inside his sphere of influence swirled around them, adding the peice de resistance to the effect he was going for*
"The Avatar of Seiryuu!"
*contentedly, he then sat back down*
And I want to understand what your connection to Seiryuu is. You are not like the others...stealing away my power and using it for themselves...your connection is...differnent...distinct...foreign....Where do you fit into this picture?
