Aura made a half bitter laugh. "Wish I didn't remember my childhood." She crossed her arms.
Eclipse licked her cheek to pull her away from a moon that was not worth crossing in to. Leaping away from her after he received a smile, he walked Nailah's direction, sniffing the air about her.

"Really, he's fine. I'm sure I'd be scared too if I were a mortal and were being introduced to a real life angel. There was a shock too, when I touched him. It wasn't a normal one. This one felt different. I'm not quite sure how to descibe it though. Sorry." She shurgged her apology. She turned to Aura then, "Never wish that. Your childhood years are what forms you as a person. I never had that. I had to start off in my late teens, or what I would guess be my late teens, and struggle to find my own identity. I still struggle now with it sometimes."

Aura tried to keep her voice from sounding agitated. "That's right Pheaura...you haven't heard the story of my childhood...well it wasn't pleasant and it turned me into a very cruel and jaded person that I worked hard to get rid of to be like I am today...so it's best left forgotten."

Pheaura nodded and apology, "I understand. However," in Pheaura's life there was alway a however or but, "if your childhood wasn't bad you would have never become cruel or jaded. If that didn't happen you would have never had the chance to overcome that obsticale, which means you would not have the inner strength you have now, nor the wisdom. On top of that you might not have aquired this manor and would never have met any of us. Do you understand my point. It's not that bad childhoods should be forgotten, or changed. It's that those events built us and those events determined or will determine our future."

"I sense some deep bitterness coming from." Nailah looked at Aura "that direction."
She looked at the woman that she still had yet to meet. "Lady Pheaura, I presume? I'm Nailah. I don't believe we've actually met yet."
Rasui suddenly hissed and her fur stood on end. Arching up on Nailah's shoulders her claws found tender skin.
"Ouch! Rasui what in Ra's name is wrong with you?"

Aura tried to glare but it quickly turned into a small smile and she shook her head at Pheaura. "Must you always be right? You angels..."
Eclipse cocked his head at the cat and growled at it, his reputation as a cat chaser trying to show through.

Pheaura offered her hand to the woman, "Nice to meet you Nailah. Rasui, calm yourself. I am a servant of the heavens and mean Nailah no harm. I promise." Pheaura held her other hand out to Rasui in order for him to catch her sent in hopes of calming him.

Pheaura smiled at Aura trying to glare, "Anger doesn't suit you my friend. Scowling ruins your happy nature, and natural beauty."

Rasui jumped down and tossed her head in the air. She sniffed in the general direction of Eclipse. Finally she twitched her tail and walked towards Pheaura. Rubbing her head against the woman's hand she began to purr.
"Nice to meet you as well Pheaura...Aura, has Eclipse ever...eaten a cat or other helpless animal before?"

Pheaura scratched the cat's head and chuckled at Nailah's concern. "Eclipse? Never! He's a teddy bear. Such a push over to nice people and animals. If you or your cat were evil, then he'd be a force to be reckoned with, but seeing as your not he's fine. He just tries to get a bad reputation. It doesn't work....ever...."

Aura smiled again. "Thank you Phea...it is alright to call you that isn't it? Eclipse was wondering too, or is it just a Ryo thing?" She then turned to answer Nailah's question. "In his regular form he might of chewed on a few squirrels...but never killed anything. He prefers his meals pre-dead and pre-cooked to being served to him.
In a rather uncharacteristic thought voice Eclipse popped himself into Pheaura's thoughts. When his usual voice was deep toned and serious, almost angelic, this one was high pitched and rather squeaky sounding. 'Yeah can we call you Phea?'

Pheaura giggled at the little voice that came with the pint sized Eclipse. "Yes, you may both call me Phea. That's fine. I believe Ryo would be pleased to see that his name for me is catching on. Naliah you may call me Phea as well if you'd like."

He reached up to rub his ears...while he couldn't hear the thoughts themselves, he could hear them being sent, simply because they distort the air they pass between slightly, like the wake of a boat on the water...
"...hmm...Cake. I think i'll investigate."

"I figured as much. Men....if there is one thing you can depend on it's their stomachs. My Ryo is much the same way. You could almost set a clock by the way he eats. Always a lot, and always regular." Pheaura managed a small smile. She hadn't seen Ryo in a while and she was getting worried about him. Quain as well. She hadn't seen her dearest friend in a long while. She was beginning to miss him too. "Has anyone seen Ryo about. Or a falcon?"

"Uh somehow that doens't make me feel better. Rasui....you are going to get your cocky little self hurt one of these days. Be careful. Phea...I like that. Who is this Ryo? I have heard his name a few times but I have not seen him."
Rasui twitched her tail and walked away from Phea. She glared at the wolf and hissed again. She walked a little bit closer to him and twitched her tail hitting him on the nose. Finally she scampered away and walked back to Nailah. She blinked her yellow eyes and watched the wolf to see what he would do.
