Samantha was prepared to make a discreet attack should he press the issue on 'Collateral.' She was taught some moves to knock off this sort, but she wasn't sure if Alex knew them.
Samantha blinked when Ian pulled out the ID badge. She had seen those badges before. Just where did he get that? Samantha put on a fake smile. She wasn't sure if she should ask him latter or not. But on closser inspection on Ian, Samantha noticed a spot below his ear. Ideas spranged into her head, but the spot was too dark to tell.
OOC: Can't have that much blood about and not get splater.

Ian sat as Claude went to the back to get the money for the crew and was still white as a ghost with the id badge in his hand. Ian looked to the crew and the captain, "Everyone shiny? Do you want me to get more in advance?" He looked to Alex "Feel free to speak up any time, Capt'n."

Samantha broadened her grin, "At first I thought I was going to have to pull out my pistol. This is for you."
Samantha gave Ian a quick kiss on the cheek, and pressed her hand on the spot. She turned her attention over to the Alex. "I'm sorry for speeking up like that. I'm use to doing things myself."

Ian gave his best lopsided grin, hugging Sam with one arm, the other on the table. "Thank ya, darlin'."

Alex stood up "i suppose i could have helped but you too seemed to have it handled" she looked around "where did Neo go? Someone should tell him this isn't a cruise, he can't just stop and play with the locals"

Neo stood up on a table, a large glass of beer in his hand.
"You know! You guys live in the crappiest part of this fine planet."
Loud chuckles came from his crowd.
"And I love ya for that. I was kicked out of the wealthy pretty pretty, cause I loved you guys! And in memory of me..."
He paused and looked like he was about to bealch.
"ANOTHER ROUND OF DRINKS!!!"
He threw a large was of bills to the bar tender as the crowd erupted with joy and more singing.
"MY CREW! We take our leave!"
He leaped off the table and out of the bar.

Alex followed Neo leaving the others to finish up their business. "what are you doing?" she asked him "If you start throwing around money people aren't gonna believe we need a job" She paused for emphasis "they're gonna think we're alliance or something".

Samantha thought, 'And if Ian keeps flashing that card around they would think that.'
Samantha looked at her hand to see the color. It was red, and it didn't feel greesy. But that is still no way to tell on anything. She'll just have to keep her eyes on Ian.
"Shall I take him back to the ship so he can sober up?"

Neo smiled.
"But be careful there is an aufly good pickpocket about."
Neo held out a couple of wallets.
"You think I would pay for a round of their drinks with my money."
He chuckled turned and walked away.
"And I'm not really drunk! But Sam, if you want to come I wouldn't mind some company."

"we should probably leave before they figure out their money's gone" Alex suddenly felt stupid for not realising Neo was faking. "what point could pickpocketing possibly serve you?"

Kat was just wondering around the ship, wonderin were the hell everyone was and when they were gettin back. She hadn't bothered leaving the ship, in fear that they would get back and leave thinking she was still on board. She headed for the kitchen in hopes of settling her stomach and getting something to eat. She hoped they had got a job, she was sick of just sitting around doing nothing. She wanted to see what the crew could do.

Claude came back, holding a black bag and a big smile to Ian. " 'ere ya go lad..." Ian took it shaking his hand. "Always a pleasure doin' business with ya. Always bringin' me the good stuffs." Ian nodded.
"We'll be in dock for another three hours. Have it loaded by then." Ian said flatly.
"Oh, it is already on its way. I'm guessin' your ship was the old Firefly out there, eh? Not many of those... but brings a bit of flair to the job. You always liked that..." Claude walked off back to his cave of a back room and the crew looked at the door close. Rising to their feet they headed back to the ship.

Samantha shook her head at the whole thing with Neo. "Hey Ian. When we get back to the ship I need to talk to you about some papers."
It's bad luck to be flashing fake ids. It's even bigger bad luck if it's saying you have Alliance authority. Though, Sam had a feeling that Ian isn't going to care about 'luck.'
