Kai frowned and looked at Riki, "I know...I'm sorry..." He hugged the boy as tightly as he could and slowly pulled away, leaving a quick and gentle kiss on his lips. He then looked at Pyrite and nodded, "Yes...I can...That is one of the reasons why I was captured...I was 'going against the law and refused to be captured'..." He shrugged slightly and slid up his pant leg to show a silver dagger hidden there. He smirked and took it out of its sheath and twirled it around a little, "The stupid spiders forgot to pat my legs down..." He smirked and looked at the two boys, "Don't worry...I won't kill you...Because I love you!" He laughed slightly and held the dagger at his side, awaiting Pyrite's response.

"Well...its time to kick some spider a** then. Are you ready?" He looked between the two boys. He himself didnt need any weapons. He had learned how to fight with just his body.

Riki bit his lip and nodded, a little nervous. Instinctively, he moved closer to Kai, reaching out to grab his hand. "I'm ready." he said, looking at Pyrite.

Kai smiled and held onto Riki's hand gently, "All right...Let's do this..." He looked at Pyrite and nodded, holding the dagger tightly, "Let's go..." He started walking, bringing Riki with him. He was walking down the only lit corridor that he saw and was hoping that it would lead to freedom.

Pyrite went out in front of them, almost as if he was planning on protecting them. They walked down for a while with nothing happening but then suddenly a spider demon jumped onto Pyrite. He growled then grabbed it and threw it to the wall. He ran up to it then gave it a few punches and kicks martial arts style until it was dead. "Too easy..."

Kai blinked as he watched Pyrite, "Well...You didn't have to kill it..." He sighed and kept walking, past Pyrite and the dead spider demon. He shook his head slightly and muttered, "Murderous ways will never change I guess..." He started spinning the dagger on his free hand, other hand still clenching Riki's.

"Yeah, 'cause if you don't kill it then maybe it'll end up hurting other people. They don't deserve to live." Riki watched Kai spin the dagger and thought about Pyrite killing the demon, and he suddenly wished he could fight better.

Kai sighed slightly and looked at Riki, "I...guess you are right...But...violence only leads to more violence..." His eyes lightened up slightly to an onyx shade and he stopped spinning the dagger. He examined the weapon closely, as if he hadn't seen it before. His hand held onto Riki's hand tighter now as he continued walking, not slowing for anything.

Riki saw the change in Kai's eye color and wondered why he didn't notice it before. "You... your eyes!" he said, a little surprised. "Why aren't they the same?"

Kai raised his eyebrow as he watched Riki, "Huh?" He stopped walking and pointed to his eyes, "My eyes?...Let's just say that they are very...unique..." He smiled sweetly and gently kissed the boy's neck. He started walking again and this time his eyes were made up of swirling onyx and silver colors. They must've looked very strange to anyone not used to his odd eyes.

"Okay." Riki replied softly, still staring at his eyes. After a moment he looked away, letting himself be pulled along. "Um.. do you know where we're going?"

Kai laughed and shook his head, "No idea whatsoever..." He just kept walking towards the light source at the end of the hallway. His mysterious eyes kept shifting from one object to another, searching for any sign of movement. He had to protect Riki no matter what; even if he had to sacrifice himself...he would save the one he loved...

Riki laughed too, but nervously. "Well, I guess anywhere's better than in the cage." He moved closer to Kai, getting a little excited from the thought that they were actually going to escape.

Pyrite glanced back at them then look foward again. He looked down at the ground and continued walking. He wished that he had someone he could love like that. He figured thats why he was trying to protect the two. He wanted to make sure they got out alive so they could be happy together. His thoughts were suddenly interrupted when another spider demon, a much larger one, jumped out at him and bit him in the shoulder. He yelled out and tried to get it off but he suddenly felt much weaker. He slowly fell to the ground and couldnt fight off the spider feasting on him anymore.
