Kiara May Kiara followed Mio trustingly, glad to have another pair of eyes to help her see. "Do you think we are almost there yet?" She asked, becoming more and more weary. Just as she spoke those words, she walked right into the wall of the greenhouse. "Ow! Well, I guess that answers my question." She laughed at herself for being so silly.

Laila Faye☾☼☽☾☼☽☾☼☽☾☼☽ __________________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________________ She woke up with a yawn and a lazy stretch. It was a few hours away from dawn and Laila was ready to have fun. She flew out her window and was greeted by the fresh scent of morning dew. It was a bit foggy and whispy clouds floated past the stars that were still in the sky. She flew towards the woods and spotted two girls wandering around. One was a Neko, the other appeared human, but had the energy of something else entirely. She flew down to them and giggled. The not so human girl had just run into a building. "What are you?"She asked her, hovering inches from her face.

Startled by the fairy's sudden appearance she pulled Kiara behind her and let out a suspicious growl, ears flat back.

Kiara May Suddenly there was a fairy in front of her. "What are you?" She had asked her. Kiara was completely thrown off. Couldn't this fairy tell she was human? Then Mio pulled her behind her protectively. "I'm clearly human, can't you see?" She asked the small fairy from behind Mio. No one had ever questioned what she was. She wondered if this fairy was a little touched in the head.

She laughed and did an aerial backflip. "Little lady doesn't know what she is" She sang cheerfully. She laughed again and landed on the kitties head. She looked down at the not so human girl and smiled. "You certainly look human, but human you are not." she said, giggling some more before flitting off into a nearby tree.

She jerked away from the creature, with a scowl painted on her face. Mio looked over Kiara, 'she smells human enough' she mused, before glancing back at the fairy suspiciously.

Kiara May Kiara was sure this girl fairy was touched now. Of course she was human! Both her parents were human. Even Mio could tell she was human. She was too tired to argue with her though. "What ever you say small fairy." She turned to start walking towards the cafe again, but stopped short to avoid running into the greenhouse a second time.

She gave the fairy another quick glance, before following Kiara in. "Would you like me to make you something to eat? She asked the girl.

She landed softly and touched the girl on the shoulder. "Wait. I have a test." She said softly, wanting the girl to know the truth. She closed her eyes and held her palm towards the ground. The air prickled with her magic as she coaxed a crystal out of the ground far below. It was a small one, but size did not matter. It floated out of the ground and into her hand. She smiled and looked at it, her eyes glittering in delight. "If you pass the test, I am right. If you fail the test, then you are human." She looked at the not so human girl and waited for her to say something.

Kiara May Mio mentioned food and Kiara was torn between finding out what this test was and proving this fairy wrong, and getting something to eat. She groaned and looked between Mio and the fairy. Her curiosity got the better of her. She wondered what the test could be. "Hold on Mio, let's see what this test is, and then lets get some food." She said to her. She was going to laugh so hard when she failed the test and the fairy was proven wrong.

Laila Faye☾☼☽☾☼☽☾☼☽☾☼☽ __________________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________________ At her acceptance of the trial, Laila's eyes momentarily turned red and she grinned wickedly. It was gone so fast though that if perchance they saw it, they would have thought they imagined it. A fairy was seldom wrong and this girl's life was about to be turned upsidedown. "So you accept? Good. It's a very simple test really." She handed the crystal to Kiara. "All you have to do is make this crystal glow." She said with a smile. Although humans could perform some magic, none of them could unlock the full powers of crystals. They could sense the magic in them, and used them when they practiced, but that is as far as it went.

Mio's gaze shifted between the two, uncomfortable with the peculiar gem. She stayed by Kiara's side, just incase.

Kiara May Kiara stared disbelievingly at the fairy. She was asking her to do something she's been able to do since she was a small child. She changed her look of shock to a flat, emotionless expression. "I'm sorry, but I can't do that." She said, handing the crystal back towards the fairy. "Let's go Mio, I'm hungry." she said in a matter of fact tone. All signs of emotion were wiped from her face and her voice.

Cat ears still pressed back against her head, she followed Kiara to the kitchen, nervous about the sudden change, but eagerly put herself between Kiara and the now red eyed fairy.

She flitted in front of them and changed back to human size, blocking their path. "Once you accept a challenge from a fairy, you are bound to that and must abide by the rules of that challenge. If you don't, I get to kill you." She said testily. Her short sward was off her back and in her hand in seconds. "Which will it be, the crystal or the sword?"
